"Anti-Obama retains radio power"
i chose to write about how someone actually hass the balls to talk out against barack obama publicly. not only publically, but on a national and even global scale. yeah, sure, barack is our first black president. were over it by nw. but now that someone actually has the courage to speak out against him is almost unheard of. people think that rush limbaugh is a racist, and offensive man. it may be slightly true, but he is the first person to publish disgust with our new presidents policies. many democrats are passing it off as posh. but i think its great that someone is actually challenging obama's socialistic ideas and uncompromising attitude. he is a powerful man who is heard by many and can possibly hold the power to make a change in the way the u.s. works.

My current event is found at www.espn.com/news. Recently Terell ownes was droped from his team out of nowwhere. The manager jusst randomly relased him after saying he wasnt going anywhere. But no one knows wheres hes gunna go. Everyone is saying how he is a cancer. Once he gets on teams he ruins them. He is always all about what he wants and nothing else. Its either his way or no way. So if you really want him you can have him but there are consequnces. I think he just needs a caoch that can snap him into line and not tolerate his shit.
The Health Protection Agency is investigating an outbreak of diarrhea and vomiting among diners who ate at The Fat Duck restaurant in Berkshire, ran by award-winning chef Heston Blumenthal. Investigators still don't know the reason of the outbreak. They are inspecting foodstuffs, food storage, and preparation and cooking practices in addition to samples from sickened diners and all members of staff. The Fat Duck is known for such sickening items as snail porridge, salmon poached in licorice gel, and scrambled egg and bacon ice cream. Blumenthal opened The Fat Duck in 1995, and it was awarded 3 Michelin stars in 2004. A year later, the restaurant was proclaimed the best in the world by the 50 Best Academy of food critics, journalists, and chefs. Reduced as much as possible,
the problems forced Blumenthal to close his famed restaurant voluntarily last week after a number of people reported being ill soon after eating there.

"If you're unemployed, you know it's a rough time to be on the job hunt." Theres alot of unemployed workers out there, and the unemployment rate continues to go up. But if you really want work, you need to go out and just look for any job out there. John A. Challenger said "You have to get a fast start, and you have to stay at it in this kind of market, because there are more people searching for fewer jobs," he said. "So you cannot let up."
People dont care anymore what kind of jobs they get they just need money. so just go out and look for one. Also the article said dat
about 40 to 50 percent of job applicants actually get the job.
Car jobs are actully good now, becasue many people dont want to get a new car so they keep theres longer, so eventually there gunna need to take it to the shop. People are getting layed off because not many cars are being sold, the company cant afford to pay them all.

The political stability of Zimbabwe is yet again questioned. Today Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai was injured in a head on collision with a large truck. The Prime Minister’s wife was tragically killed in the crash. This event comes just weeks after a power-sharing agreement was reached between Tsvangirai’s party and President (or dictator) Mugabe’s party. There are rumors flying around that this car crash was not an accident. People within Tsvangirai‘s party and around the world have raised the question that this attack was planned. President Mugabe is known for his plots to get rid of others who run oppose his rule. The crash took place while Tsvangirai was on him way to his hometown after being in the nation’s capital. Life in Zimbabwe has been on the decline for many years, this power agreement was thought to be a sign of progress but maybe it’s not.

"A man suspected of killing five members of his family and wounding another on Thursday committed suicide after police surrounded him in a house, police in Cleveland, Ohio, said Friday."
Davon Crawford is suspected to have murdered his new wife, her sister, and three of Stevens' children, Destiny Woods, and 2-year-old twins Dion and Davion Primm. He then killed himself in the bathroom of the house after agents began to storm the house and surround him. I find this kind of domestic crime simply appalling and it makes me scared to live in a world where death is so common. To think one day someone could just snap and kill the people they're supposed to love. It's sickening. I think that this is indeed a tragic event. It's a shame that it had to happen, especially to two two year olds and a five year old boy. Very sad.

The Kepler Spacecraft has been launched. Their main goal is to search for planets with similar features to Earth. They say it is a historical launch because it answers the question to our loneliness in the universe, something we have pondered for a long time. They've got expensive technology on it too, the instrument they use is so precise that it can register changes in brightness of 20 parts per million in stars that are thousands of light years away.

"Spacecraft blasts off in search of Earths"
NASA launched its Kepler spacecraft just before 11 p.m. Friday in a mission that the agency says may fundamentally change humanity's view of itself.Kepler contains a special telescope that will stare at 100,000 stars in the Cygnus-Lyra region of the Milky Way for more than three years as it trails Earth's orbit around the Sun.The instrument is so precise that it can register changes in brightness of 20 parts per million in stars that are thousands of light years away.

T.O. NEEDS A TEAM
Owens agent Drew Rosenhaus, indicated in a text message Friday that his client won't be out of work for too long. Offers have begun with several teams, Rosenhaus said, and he hopes to have a deal in place by late next week. Owens was released by Dallas on Thursday. TO is in the top ten in most career receiving categories, trailinng former teammate Jerry Rice in touchdown catches. His agent reported "There are several teams that are interested in signing him. I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not speak of those teams at this time. TO and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner". I think he is un coachable and needs that coach that will control him. Ok now here is a lions joke my dad told me "lions are going to sign him and he is going to be number 16, so that his jersey reads owen 16".

For my current event I will write about how Collen Howe recently passed away on friday. She was married to the Legendary hockey player Gordie Howe. She was know as Mrs. Hockey and the first lady of sports. She was Gordie's business agent and adviser through his quarter-century with the Red Wings and 32 seasons as a player. She died at the age of 76. It's only a matter of time until Gordie Howe goes. That sucks because he is looked upon by so many people. As we get older our heroes and legends we strive to be get older too. Its a shitty feeling to have when their gone, but not just our heroes but anyone.

A global women's rights treaty completed 30 years ago has a good chance for U.S. Senate ratification this year. Activists are trying to get the 67 votes needed. Since its adoption in 1979, all but eight members have become a party to it. The United States is one of the only countries who hasn't adopted it. Lots of domestic and global human rights and women's groups are hoping that Boxer succeeds. many people are opposed to it however. I hope it gets passed.

I found my topic on news.yahoo.com. On this day - Saturday, March 7th, 2009, an eleven year old boy was found guilty of murder. In western Pennsylvania, a young boy named Jordan Brown killed his father's pregnant girlfriend with a shotgun that he regularly used to go hunting. He and his father went hunting on this day. Apparently, the youngster was a very skilled marksmen, winning a turkey at a local shoot against more experienced and older hunters. Police think that Brown kept his gun in his bedroom. He has been charged as an adult with killing Kenzie Marie Houk, age 26, and her unborn son on February 20th in an attack police say was pre-meditated. Jordan hid the weapon under a blanket so Houk's 7-year-old daughter wouldn't see it as he entered her mother's room. Later, he threw the spent shell casing in the woods, got on the bus and went to school. I ask: how fucked up is the next generation going to be? Cases like this - an eleven year old murdering a woman and her unborn son purposely - make me fear what the next generation is capable of doing.

Injured Were Waiting In Line To Ride Elephant." This was the heading. Thi edvent happended at a circus in Indiana. All people injured were childeren between the ages 8-12. None were injured more than cuts and srcaps. The elephant got spooked by something on the ground. Acordding to the media the circus will continue. Mant animal activist see thi what needed to happen for people to reilize that wild animals like this are not for enterianment. I think if you are so stupid to let ur child ride a elepahnt that could kill them within a second that them and not childrend should be hurt. http://www.theindychannel.com/news/18877714/detail.html
In maryville, illinois, during a church service, a gunman shot and killed the pastor of the local church. The assailant weilded a .45 caliber pistol and shot the pastor three times, one hitting his bible. When the gun jammed, the suspect pulled out a knife and turned it upon himself. He did this just as he was mobbed by the worshippers at the mass. This is the first church shooting since the knoxville, Tennessee shooting in july. Three males were admitted to the local hospital, one dead, one in surgery, and the suspect, whose condition remains unknown. This is a horrible thing to happen, and it just shows the times that we live in. Who shoots up a church?

Today my current event is the arresting of Charles Barkley. Last month Barkley was caught drunk driving and pleaded guilty. At the trial the judge sentenced him to 10 days in jail. However this sentance was to be reduced if he take s a three day alcohol awareness course. It is ironic because right next to him sat sherriff joe arpalo. Arpalo is known to be the toughest sheriff in america. Also 12 years ago barkley supported his biography.

i was out of town this weekend aand could not do it before i left. dont mark me downplease
My article is about a pastor killed during service. the police say that after the gunman shot him a number of people were there to tackle the gunman. During bringing the gunman down the people suffered knife wounds. The pastors name was Fred Winters, and apparently him and the gunman exchanged words before being shot by him. Nobody knows what the gunman and Fred said back and forth to eachother. They say that when he was shot that the bullet went through the bible and hit him. This is a sad story and a bad place for something like this to happen.

Sorry I couldnt get this in on time, My computer sucks, and doesnt let me go on internet explorer for some reason.
My late current event is going to be about failing banks. Some of the republicans say that we should let some banks fail. They say that banks shouldnt count on the bailout money to keep the alive. "Close them down, get them out of business. If they're dead, they ought to be buried," said the republican senator Richard Shelby. I kind of agree with this. If banks are failing left and right why should we waiste our money to save them. At this point in time i think its safer to put your money under your bed instead of in a bank. The bailouts arnt working and i dont think they ever will so why waiste our cash.
yes i know its late..

My current event is about 12,000 U.S. troops leaving Iraq by fall according to the military. The number of troops in Iraq will drop by 12,000 over the next six months, the U.S. military said in a statement Sunday. Two brigade combat teams and their support units will redeploy without being replaced, reducing the number of combat teams in Iraq from 14 to 12, the statement said. A group of 4,000 British troops will also be transferred from Iraq and not replaced. It was believed to be the first announcement of troop reduction since President Obama's announcement last month of the United States' plan to withdraw most of its troops from Iraq by the end of August 2010. Currently, there are 142,000 U.S. troops in Iraq. During his presidential campaign, Obama pledged to withdraw those troops within 16 months of taking office -- May of 2010. But under Obama's current plan, between 35,000 and 50,000 troops will remain to help execute a drawdown plan. All U.S. forces are set to be out of Iraq by December 31, 2011. That was a deadline set under the agreement that former President George W. Bush's administration signed with the Iraqi government last year. Obama said the troops remaining in Iraq would take on an advisory role in training and equipping Iraqi forces, supporting civilian operations in Iraq, and conducting targeted counterterrorism missions.
I found this current event at: http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/meast/03/08/iraq.troop.withdrawal/index.html
