Lakeland has many positive aspects going on. One positive area would have to be our sports. Overall, all of Lakelands sports teams have done very well. For example, our football team made it to the play offs last year, and the basketball team has done successful as well. Another area would have to be our teachers. The teachers do a very good job about teaching us the material we need to know. The majority of the teachers at Lakeland try their hardest, and do the best they possibly can. Thirdly, Lakeland is very spiritual. All over the school, there is posters and different activities going on all the time. Lakeland does a good job with spirit week too. Fourthly, Lakeland is very good with all different kinds of teams. For example, there isnt just a football team or cheerleading team, but also a problem solvers team and a bowling team. So, everyone can get involved. Lastly, we have a pretty good library. If you ever need a book, or encyclapedia, lakeland has that to offer. Also, if you ever need to stay after school to use a computer, lakeland has that too.

Lakeland has a lot of positive things going on. First, would be that Lakeland shows good school spirit. We have posters all over the school that encourage different events and groups. I like being in a school that has good school spirit. It makes me more positive and happy. Secondly, Lakeland has good sports teams. I'm a very active person and I like being involved with sports. Lakeland has great sporting programs and that helps me stay in shape. Thirdly, Lakeland's teachers are very helpful. Not only do they help you during school hours, but many of them are willing to help you after school. Sometimes I need extra help if I don't understand something, and I know that most of my teachers would help me after school. Fourthly, Lakeland has a great academic programs. Many people participate in after school functions such as robotics and problem solvers. I think it is a good thing to have academic groups after school because many people like to do those things. These programs teach people how to be successful in certain subjects. I would like to be involved in some acamedic programs after school. Lastly, transportation is always provided if you need it. I drive to school so I dont need to take the bus. However, I use to take the bus in 9th and 10th grade, and that was the only way I could get to school. Also, the school provides transportaion for feild trips and for sporting events.

They teach the kids in the best way that they know how too. All of sports teams are doing very well. The football team made it to play offs last year. The soccer team did good too. The school does a good job during spirit week. We decorate, dress up, theres good themes most of the time too. 4th The lunch is great, i dont buy lunch alot but when i do i always look foward to it. The do a good job at that. Last the busses are always a good thing to have. If you dont have a ride for school the bus is always there. Its a good thing that we have busses.

Well i think that lakeland has great teachers. The best thing they do is having teachers that care about thee students and know to have fun. This impacts my life by making my school days more fun. Another thing that is well in lakeland is the classes y9ou can take. I am having a really fun time becuase of the variety of classes you can take. The 3rd thing lakeland does very well is lunch. haha. they have a lot of food and a lot of different kinds to spice up my lunch time. I also like the way the tennis team is organized and run. It helps me reach my full potential in my tennis abilities. The last thing i believe lakeland does well is the TIES program. They are really organized and like to make the students feel as comfortable as they can. They have a big weight on there shoulders and the deall with it perfectly. This makes me feel a lot better about my self and for comfortable with the student

Lakeland High School has some areas of strengths along with weaknesses. A strength that I've recognized is the education. Obviously we come here to learn, but Lakeland sets high standards compared to other schools around our area. Our curriculum has changed and become more challenging. This will look better than other students on our college transcripts if we succeed in these classes. Another area of strength is the graduation rate. An extremely high rate of students are graduating a year. Some schools have an equal rate to ours, but instead it's drop out students. Our school is handing out diplomas at a regular, constant rate which is gratifying. Thirdly, the sports offered. Lakeland has all different kinds of sports pertaining to anyones interest. If someone cannot pay the price of what the sport cost, they are even helped with financial aid. It makes everyone feel like they can join a sport if they want to. Another area is the groups that are offered. Lakeland offers all different kinds of groups for peoples interests. This also looks good on college transcripts to show that involvement in the school was a major proirity. Lastly, the different classes that can be of interest to students. Besides our normal classes like math, science, history and literature there are other classes. If someone is into writing they can take journalism. Other examples of these are graphic arts, photography, cooking, child developement, deca, etc. We have a wide range of opportunities to learn.

First, I think that Lakeland has many great teachers. In middle school, I was never very fond of any of my teachers. Once I reached high school, every year there was at least 2-3 teachers whose class I really liked. You can tell when a teacher at Lakeland really likes what they do, because they make the classes a lot more fun to be in. I am fortunate to have had many teachers like this. I also think that LHS has a wide range of classes. No matter what your interests are, there is a class that will fit you. As you progress through high school, there are more and more classes to choose from, which make school more enjoyable. After school activities are another thing that makes LHS great. The athletics and after-school clubs not only allow us to do what we love to do, but allow us to be involved with our school and the people in it. There is such a wide range of activities so anyone can be involved. Another thing I like about LHS is the music at lunch on Fridays. This always gets me pumped for the weekend and make the last day of the week easier to get through. Lastly, I love all of the events that go on at school. Spirit week, sports events, assemblies and things like that make school more than just a place to take tests. If I have to spend four years of my life somewhere, I want it to be somewhere that I like going to.

Lakeland has many strengths that make our high school experience positive. One of the area of strengths is the willingness of Lakeland teachers to help their students. Teachers don't mind helpiing in the morning before school or after school. I feel the staff at Lakeland strives to help each student reach their full potential. Another area of strength is Lakeland's school spirit. A lot of students & teachers get involved with making dances and extra-curricular activities fun. Thirdly, Lakeland provides a safe atmosphere. There is not a lot of violence and the staff is very strict about punishing those who cause trouble. Another area of strength is providing career paths to all their students. Lakeland offers vocational/technical career paths along with a college bound pathway. Lastly, Lakeland has good sport teams. Our football team made it to the playoff's last fall and we have a good baseball and basketball team. These areas of strength impact me personally because Lakeland has given me a good foundation in acamdemics and a school that provides the tools for me to be successful. The teachers and programs available at Lakeland allow our students to reach their full potential and you can tell our staff cares about our future.

I think Lakeland is a great school and I am very lucky to go here. Lakeland has a great athletic program and sports is a very popular and important thing in students' lives. I play lacrosse and I'm so happy to be on the team and just be able to play. Lakeland also has a great Leadership class. I am currently in it and it is a great way to get involved in the school and make a difference. There are posters everywhere advertising events and school spirit. That's another thing that Lakeland does well, activities. Homecoming and Winterfest are great and its a good time to have fun outside of the school setting. Lakeland also has a wide range of classes to take with something to offer for everyone. We have great teachers and get a good education. Finally, Lakeland makes a difference in the community. With activities like Toys for Tots and TIES, Lakeland sets a positive example for people and presents a good image.

Well for one, I think lakeland has a wonderful staff. Kids always have a resource. Someone who is willing to help them, whether it be academically or emotionally. Even now, I know that if I need help in math, I can go to three different teachers. Its a wonder thing. Another thing that I think is positive is sports. There are a lot of sports at lakeland which have several positive aspects. For one, they motivate kids to have good grades. If you dont have good grades, then you cant play. So, it acts as a little push to keep people on track. Also, many sports programs do not make cuts on the JV level. I find this wonderful. It means that kids can play no matter what and they dont feel left out or like they are not good enough. Another thing I like are the amount of clubs. There are probaby at least 100 clubs at lakeland. Ranging from Be The Change to chess club. Even if there isnt a club for something, you can make one as long as you have the support of a teacher. The Fourth thing I like is student leadership. Not a lot of schools have the student leadership program like we do. Every year they put on the Homecoming, Winterfest, Toys-for-tots, ect. Wonderful programs that everyone in lakeland loves. They do some truly amazing things. The last thing, are the classes themselves. Lakeland offers a lot of different classes. For me, this is wonderful. There are so many different classes to take so I can challenge myself. For example, AP classes. There are a couple dozen different AP classes that I can take to not only challenge myself, but to prepare myself for college.

There are many things that impact me positively at Lakeland. For one is the teachers. From all my friends that go to different schools (yes i have friends Mr.Kay) they always tell me that their teachers suck which isnt the case at Lakeland. I mean there are a few crappy teachers but i can deal with that. Second is the classes they offer. Right now im in school store and it is giving me tons of useful experience because it is the field i want to go into. Third is the policys. I know that all of us hate them but our school does a good job at enforcing them and not allowing some students to do it. Fourth is the way we handle the fire drills because safety is the most importent thing that our adminisrators care about and if we are not safe then they are not doing their job. And last is lunch, I think of it as if you have C lunch then you just got out of your fourth hour and you may have had a test or something and you can go into the cafiteria and enjoy a sub-par meal or a packed lunch and every friday Mr.Rolondo is kicking them beats or whatever those young folk say and it creates a relaxed enviroment where 30 minutes out of the school day are with your friends. Until the janitor yells at you for making a mess then it just gets annoying.

Lakelands greatest area that lakeland impacts me is sports. Lakeland sports programs is the best thing lakeland has going for it, i thinkkk. I play Lakeland soccer and its super fun but also strict i think lakeland sports are well rounded programs. Also Lakeland shows alot of school spirt. No matter what it is there are people representing programs. I dont think ive ever seen lakeland without posters all over. Also Lakeland has a varity of differend fun classes that you get to pick. Some schools dont offer the options that we get and people take that for granted. The coulnclers are another good thing about lakeland. I always have schedualing problems becasue im pickey and my councler has helped me so much. The best thing about lakeland is mr.fray, EYECANDY:) nothing beats a hot administrator lett meee tell youuuuuuu.

I think that Lakeland does do things positive. First, our atheletics. They work on more than winning and practcing, but training in the off season as well. Next, I think that we do a good job creatively teaching. In many of my classes it is not a typical sit down and listen all the time. We do creative projects and have a good time. Third, we have made a great place for people in need of help. I think the ties program, peer mediation, and always having someon to talk to is great. I also like the way that people make relationships with the teachers. I think it enhances learning and makes us strive to do better and also have someone to fall back on. Finally, i think that we Do a good job with school lunches. Most other kids say they're school lunch sucks but as it might not be the healthiest I still
enjoy it.

There is a team or club for basically anyone. A third positive could be how spirited they make our school. They try to make it positive with all the posters and keep everyone happy. A fourth positive aspect about Lakeland is the academics, not just in school but the out of school academic groups too like, problem solvers, deca and robotics. And lastly the fifth positive thing about Lakeland is all the different classes you can take. Of course they have the basic math, lit. etc., but they also have a class for everyone. Basically whatever you are into they have a class for it like, basic video, design, creative metals, team sports etc. All and all Lakeland has many positive aspects about it.

One positive thing would be our sports. We may not be the best at all the sports but we still have a wide variety of them. I think our classes are good too. Like we have ties. Some schools don’t and I think they should. Im glad we do it helps out students in need. Some of the teachers are good too. Not all but most. They all have their own way of teaching and some ways are interesting and fun. I also learn better from some, like Mr. Pouliot, I have NEVER done well in history and some of the last terms I did well. The last term I did slip on them but im working on keeping them up again. I think our homecoming dances are cool too. I like our DJs and the songs they play (they could lighten up a little on the rules) other wise there fun. And the last thing would be our sprit. We have a lot of people that dress for homecoming week.

Though school may suck, i do find many things positive about it and our school specifically. One Major plus in which lakeland carries, is our athleics. Each year, we loose many good players from all differnt sports. Aside from these losses, im never worried cause i am proud to say that our school carries i large amount of athletic kids from all ages. Next i would have to say the staff members or teachers. When i came into high school, i felt that i was pretty much being put through hell after having all the very strict teachers back in middle schools. When i came here i found my self liking maybe 90% of my teachhers. Theres nothing better to get you through a school day than very helpful and friendly teachers. Another positive has to be our school in general and how nice it is maintained. I gguess i could go ahead and give this award to our janators. Being a pretty big germaphobe, i love the effert which is put into every muscle of janators bosy to keep our school very clean and sanitary. ASide from school, theres nothing better than the middle of the day, lunch. Ya brenda, is amazing at making lunches, but every now and then when the turkey or bread runs short, i know i can count our lunch ladies to prepare jesus on a tray for me. Now, i decided to save the best for last. Looking at all the other schools, there is one thing i notice they all come short of having, thats a Balinda. Its all fun and games driving at our age but safty shall always come first and thats where we see balinda. This parking lot police officer is no ordinary security guard. You think your funny and are going to cut school early, bad choice. Even with all my anger for school and hatered for it every day, these are the things that get me through the day.

One of the positive things in our school is the teachers. Every teacher that I've had has pushed me to do the best I can. This will definitily help me in a few years when I go to college. I only have had probably 2-3 teachers that I didnt like in the 3 years I've been at Lakeland. Alot of my classes I enjoy, not only because my friends are in them, but because the teachers make them fun also. Another good thing is seminar. I usually do some of my homework during seminar and it gives me a chance to get help from teachers if I can't make it after school. Another thing that I find nice is the wide variety of classes. Any class you want, you can pretty much get. I've noticed that during my junior year I have more options class-wise than I did in previous years. If I want to take an internship I can do that. If I want an art class I can take that. The policies at Lakeland are another good thing, I guess. Of course the kids are gonna hate them, but in the long run they are teaching us well. Lakeland does a good job enforcing the policies such as being swept if you're late for class. The last good thing I can think of is school spirit. There's usually a big crowd at the games, no matter what event it is. There are always kids representing their sport.

Some of the things that i think lakeland is good at is their sports area. Lakeland takes a lot pf pride in their athletes, and the school has spirit to show that. Another good area is their techers, A lot of the techers work their best to techer the students the material needed , even though some of the students dont deserve the respect teshers give them they still do. Anothere lakeland does good is helping the students stay in volved, the techers encorege the students to do extracericular activities. At lakeland the students stay involved. Anothere thing i like about lakeland is the classes they provide to the students like OTC. Most of the students here are well perpared when they go off to college.

One thing Lakeland student do very well is that they are dedicated to their school and they have a lot of support for our teams. For example, at the LAkeland vs. Milford basketball game our stands easily outnumbered theirs two to one (I know we were home but still). We were also significantly louder and cheered more. A second good thing about Lakeland is the teachers. I think we have good teachers who actually care about their students. A third thing is the dances. They are very fun, adn everyone I know that goes to a different school and has gone to our dances has said that they are a lot better than theirs. A forth thing is the sanitation of the school. For the most part, Lakeland is kept fairly clean, which is definately a good thing, even after people trash the bathrooms and everything. A fifth thing that is good about Lakeland is our counselors. Our school counselors put forth great effor tto help people prepare for college. They also just help people with their problems. Overall, they are always there looking out for each student. All in all, there are many things that are good about Lakeland, but there are also some things that should be changed.

I think Lakeland does well of choosing MOST teachers. Even if you don't understand something in class they are always willing to stay after to help you. Another is that we have so many opportunities at Lakeland. There is a team or club for everyone. Third would have to be that we get interesting projects and assignments. Fourth would be that we have many class options. There seems to be a class that interests everyone. Lastly, our spirt for football games and etc. are great! Our school really gets into it and it makes it really fun.

There are many things that I like about Lakeland. I like they way Lakeland is set up with all the classrooms in a part of the school with the gym and cafeteria in the other. I also like that upper classman and under classman hallways are separated. All the freshman would get in the way if it wasn't like that. So thank God. I also like the seminar days. It's something for me to look forward to during the week and that extra hour really helps me get ahead in my work. Our Student Services department is awesome as well. Mr. Rolando is such a great advisor I guess you would call him and the counselors including Mrs. Flora and Mrs. Warner are amazing at what they do for us students. I have had the chance to work kind of behind the scenes to witness it first hand and they do EVERYTHING for us. Lakeland puts on great student events such as dances and football games. They make them enjoyable. The teachers at Lakeland are the best too. Most of my teacher's I've have I've liked and enjoyed their classes. Overall Lakeland is a great school but I would change many things.

The greatest strength of Lakeland in my opinion would prabitily be the teachers. I think that because no matter what the situation is, Lakeland teachers will do they best to help you out. For example if you are having trouble with learning a new chapter, they will come in before school and after school to make sure you understand it. Another positive aspect of Lakeland is all of the different classes available to take. It doesn't matter what you are intrested in there usually is a class to suit your needs. The third positive aspect of Lakeland is that there are many after school activities to choose from. Ranging from a hundred different clubs to school dances. Also our school has a lot of school spirit. For example, all of the posters on the walls and with spirirt week commimg up soon. The final positive aspect of Lakeland is what a fun atmosphere the teacher and staff make for the students. For example, during lunch on friday they play music. Even though they don't play any good country music.

Honestly I find it hard to think of alot of positive things in Lakeland, probably because I'm a pesimist. But I think that there are a decent amount of good teachers that are kind and actually help us learn what we need to. I also think that the whole seminar thing is a good idea. It helps me catch up on things when I need to. I also think that our school sports help as well. With the sports it gives us a chance to hang out with friends while showing our school spirit. I also think that Lakeland gives lots of people a way to be excepted and make friends thanks to all of the extra-cirricular activities. The library is pretty cool too. It has almost everything we need/want in school. For example it has a bunch of information for research or all sorts, and for entertainment they have novels and graphic novels. And the school transportation isn't all that bad either. It helps people that can't get rides to school everyday.

So far in my time at Lakeland I have found that there are several things about Lakeland that have positively affected me. One of the things is the teacher’s teaching methods. For example it is much more intrusting to review by chalkboard football instead of doing a work sheet about the whole chapter. Lakeland has allowed me to make new friends in all the different classes I take. The different courses available are interesting and it allows me to do and learn about stuff that I really want to learn about. I appreciate all the different programs that Lakeland has to help us with college planning and job planning. I have found the ACT practice that Lakeland and other companies provide to us are very helpful to us. I think that seminar has affected me positively as well, since it allows me to complete a test, a project, or finish homework. The mood of Lakeland itself lets me learn without the feeling that we are forced to learn.

Hmmmmm, this is a hard one. well i think that lakeland does a pretty good job of providing its students with a good variety of classes. So if a student is unsure of what they want to do later in life, they have a chance to experiment with different things. Also, Lakeland has a pretty good staff. The teachers here come up with fun and creative, yet effective methods of teaching so that kids who learn i different ways get the same opportunities that others do. thirdly, i think that lakelanddoes a really good job of providing for its students. For example, lakeland has a really good library, and provides good lunches.
next, i think that our school is pretty good at enforcing its rules. However, a lot of teaches are more relaxed about the rules that are a little extreme. Finally, i really like that lakeland has really good facilities. We have two awesome tracks, 2 pools, 2 gyms, a nice football field, really nice tenniscorts, and more. Our school really provides for its students to be active and get involved in school activites and sports.

Lakeland has higher standards than other schools. Third, Lakeland has a big range of classes, there is a class for almost everything. Another thing would be that some teachers lets us walk in late to first hour. It is hard to get to school at the same time everyday it nice when teachers lets us in late sometimes. Last, I think that Lakeland has good school spirit. During spirit week lots of people dress up.

Lakeland has always been a safe school. I say this because I have never worried about anything bad happening to students in the school. I think this is much better than lets say schools in Pontiac or Detroit. Teachers at lakeland all seem to be good for the most part. Every teacher I have had has helped me in some way when I needed it. I am never denied help. Lakeland offers a good amount of classes to take. It may not be as many as other schools but it works. I like being able to take classes I want. For the most part our school is in good order. I mean that it's allways clean and kept up. I have seen schools that look like shit but honestly ours is in tip top shape. The last thing I like is our school spirit. Whenever there is a spirit week or school event teachers and students support the school. I know not everyone will but normally 70% of people have some sort of spirit.

One positive thing at lakeland is seminar. This positivly influences me becuase it gives me extra time to do my work. Even though i think we should have an open campus, i think that the school does a good job of keeping us all inside during lunch times. This positively influeces me by not tempting me to leave. Another positive thing is the teachers. They all care and do a good job helping you become successful. The forth positive thing at lakeland is the sports teams. Most of the teams do good and its positive becuase it helps me have school spirit. The fifth thing that lakeland does well is the TIES program. This helps the special ed kids to become main stream. Also this helps the kids that take this progam to develpoe leadership skills and to be comfortable.

There are so many things that I believe that make Lakeland a very great school. Lakeland teachers represent some of the most creative, diversified, and intelligent people in public schooling today. We also have some awesome custodians. If it wasn't for them, Lakeland would look like a waste disposal unit (How else do the students think that Lakeland looks so clean in the morning?). Our school has many great after school activities. We have dances, concerts, plays, and sports. When it comes to sports, the students at Lakeland show some of the best skills of any high school teams in the state. So many people complain about the computers in the school, but we've got to think about it in a different way. We actually have access to a computer at our school. No, they are not state of the art machines, or even the newest machines, but we have the use of them at our disposal (Something that we take for granted). There are so many schools that would love to have the shear amount of technology that we have. For what it's worth, I believe that Lakeland is a pretty special school, and I am glad to be a part of the experience.

In my opinion, the top five areas Lakeland does best in is sports, music, education, teaching, and spirit. Lakeland's spirit derives from the students and is encouraged by some if not most of the staff. I think very school needs at least some school spirit. Teaching at Lakeland is also done very well. Almost all of the teachers do their jobs right in teaching helping students out if they don't understand something. Sports is definately something Lakeland is best at. Every sport available at Lakeland is tough and helps to get students in top shape. Workouts are gruesome sure, but it's worth it in the end. Education is another thing Lakelands good at. There's a variety of classes any student can take to expand their horizon in the educated world. Last but not least, music is a big part of Lakeland. There are a lot of different band classes: concert band, wind ensemble, jazz band, etc. Each one is either a different difficulty or plays different music. I believe Lakeland is definately a strong school in these areas.

There is alot of strengths that lakeland has. One of them would be that Lakeland shows very good school spirit. We have posters all over the school that encourage different events and groups. Having posters all over our school is a great way to get people involved. Another would be most of the teachers at our school are very good teachers. Another would be that they have very good rules well most of them and get on top of things very fast. Another would be that we have many good sport teams. And lastly our school is for the most part very well orginazed.

Overall i think that lakeland does as much as possible to provide a safe, interesting and challenging environment and curriculum. The first thing that Lakeland does well is its sports program. No matter what sport its seems almost every year they are a strong competitor in the division and the district. Also the strength and conditioning coaches do a very good job making each team ready for there certain sport. Another thing that Lakeland does that i enjoy is the seminar period rewarded each thursday. Seminar gives we, the students an opportunity to catch up and finish homework and tests for the class they are struggling in. Lakeland also does a good job hiring teachers who are fun and able to react with there students positively. This eliminates boring classes and makes the students more comfortable to learn and ask questions. Lastly Lakeland gets involved with its community. Lakeland is constantly supporting and doing fundraisers to benefit the school and local businesses.

Lakeland has done many things well. First off, I think that Lakeland does a very nice job for supporting school events. Such as the sports events. Being in the Leadership class has opened my eyes to all that Lakeland does. This bring me to my second point which is when Lakeland hosts the Toys for Tots party. I think that very few schools actually host this party, and this year it turned out to be one of the best ever. This makes our school look good because of how many students and facility were involved in it. The next strength in Lakeland is the staff members. I feel they are all qualified for the job. Most of the teachers teach very well, and teach in a way students can comprehend what they are learning in a fun, upbeat way. As well as, the janitors. They always keep our school very clean and make it look nice. Also, the lunch ladies, who make us the food. I must say not all the food at Lakeland is unbearable, they do a very nice job! Next, I feel Lakeland has many high academic students. Meaning many students range from a GPA from a 3.0 to a 4.0. This shows that we have students who are willing to go the extra mile when it comes to school. Now it all comes down to, the activities. Lakeland has many activities that you can be involved with. However, it's not only sports, it's also clubs. I know there's FPS, choir, the school plays, band, and many more. Lakeland does it's best to have an activity for everything, so everyone can be involved. Overall, I feel Lakeland is a great school. Although, it does have it's weaknesses at times, it's still a school that gives up a positive attitude and image.

Lakeland has a lot of strengths that make me happy to be a student here. First off, we have great student activities like our dances and school spirit weeks. I just started leadership and I'm only starting to see how much work is put into having great dances and pep assemblies. A lot of other schools just have a gym with some posters and lights and a staff member playing some music- it makes Lakeland seem pretty great in comparision. I don't have to go out looking to go to another school's dance like I would if we had poorly planned dances. I also love our sporting events. Football games and basketball games always have so much energy, and the student section gets pumped up and goes all out for big games. I feel more like part of a family in a way that is all together fighting for the win. Another area that Lakeland does well at would be having good technology and books. I don't think some students realize how lucky we are to have multiple labs all over the school and a big library to use. Some schools don't have the money for these things, and I think those students do not have as good of opportunities as us at Lakeland. Something else that I think Lakeland has a pretty caring community. For the most part, there is a lot of kids that will help out someone like if they need a door held and acts of kindness like that. Finally, Lakeland does well at would be having good teachers. I feel like most of my teachers are pretty good and really enjoy what they teach, which helps me enjoy the class much more. I think I have gotten to know some of my teachers decently and they just seem like regular people to me.

Lakeland has positive things about it, its just isnt all negative things. Lakelands sports teams are pretty good. Another thing would be the teachers. We have alot of great teachers, like you and Mr. Pouliot lol. Theres alot of after school activites that people attend. The staff is all very nice, and there always open to talk if you need help. Seminar is another great thing about lakeland. It gives us time to do or finish our homework, or study.

There are many things that are positive about Lakeland high school. One is the people, I think a lot of the kids who go to lakeland are very nice. So that is one of the positives about our high school. The second is the teachers. Yes, not all of them are that great but there are a few who I feel get kids, and are really able to get through to me. The third would be the classes. I feel like Lakeland provides all the classes necessary to be able to excel in life. Not just the basic classes but the fun ones too. The fourth thing I like about Lakeland is our spirit. I seriously think w are one of the most spirited schools and that we have fun with our sporting and after school events. The fifth thing is just Lakeland atmosphere in general. It's fun and I feel really comfortable with it.

First off, I think that our students at lakeland high school have great school spirit. Especially at big events with our cross town rivals, lakeland students are always there with their spirit wear and supporting the teams. Second of all, I believe that Lakeland does a great job in supplying a quality media center with up to date computers for students to use. Not every school is fortunate enough to have all the luxuries we have. Third off, we have a pretty good staff. Most teachers have masters degrees and are pretty well educated in their area. Also, lakeland offers lots of different clubs and after school meetings so that students can get involved and make the most of their high school experience, since most of us only get to do it once. Lastly, and im not sure if this is a positive thing, but lakeland houses the IA west. Yeah, it gets us some good rep...but thats about all. I think its all just hype surrounded by lies, but ill leave that out of this.

There are many positive things about Lakeland. I think a positive thing is the teachers at Lakeland. For the most part the teacher sknow what they are teaching and how to make it fun. Second, Lakeland has a lot of groups or activites. There are always one group or another meeting after school, whether it being NHS or sports. Sports, that is a positive thing about Lakeland. Our sports teams are very good. The football team has been doing very good. 4th, Lunches are pretty good. It is fun to have about a half hour to just relax and talk with friends, even though it gets a little crowded. 5th would be parking. It makes it easier to gt to school.

Lakleand is an overall alright school. I think the one thing thats cool is electives. It really makes you choose things that you like which is cool. I also like seminar because i can catch up on my work. I think lakeland overall has some cool teahcers. Most our young and they know how to relate. I think that we have sports teams that do well. It is cool that we have so many options to choose from when it comes to sports. Finnaly, I think that the counselors at our school do a pretty good job. They will listen to you about your schedule concerns and they will do whats best for you. Overall i think lakelands doing alright.

Lakeland has many strengths, in which most students hate. One of the strengths would be seminar and how students arent allowed in the hallway at the start of seminar unless they have a pass. This impacts me positively because I know that students arent skipping, and i hate when students skip. Another strength the school has is stopping kids from smoking in the bathrooms. This impacts me by them locking every bathroom in the school so i cant go.Another strength the school has is having people in the lunch room clean up after themselves and others, whenever theyre wearing a hood or a hat, or when theyre not wearing apportpriate clothing. This impacts me because it keeps me from wearing a hat or hoood, i dont wear in apropriate clothing. Another strength the school has is getting kids to class on time. This impacts me because it motivates me or makes me want to hurry to class so i dont get sweeped and have to get detention or a hall pass to get back to my class.

Marching band is the one thing that has impacted me the most positivly at Lakeland. Coming into high school, I wasn't doing so good. I had the wrong friends, I didn't care about shit. Band put me on a straight path to being who I am today. I know that sounds stupid, but I guess you'd have to be me to really understand. Another thing is the TIES program. That is probably one of the BEST things at school. It not only helps me, but it helps change a kids life. Since I've been a TIES, I have gained patience, and understanding, and I am a lot more accepting of everyone and everything. Third is the art classes that are available. If you don't know, I want to go to an art school, like CCS or something. So having the oppurtunity to take a photography, graphic arts, or metals class really helps me pursue an art school. Another good thing is the teachers, well 98% of them. (: Most of the teachers at school really care about us students succeeding. And lately, most kids need that support. I like knowing that there are teachers I can go to for homework help, or just someone to talk to. The last thing is that most teachers are finally starting to realize that us kids are humans too, and sometimes we make mistakes or forget things. They finally see that shits going to happen, and they cant always get pissed over it. Me being so very forgetful, its nice when I can go to a teacher berfore class starts and explain the situation and they understand. They dont yell at me for being irresponsible, they understand. I mean, at school we have a lot to remember, and when I forget to do something, I worry about getting in trouble. Yet, now that teachers understand that shit happens, I don't worry as much if I forget an assignment or something, because it doesnt happen often anyway.

I think lakeland has a lot of great aspects. for example the leadership class, i think it was a great class to create because they help so much with the school. leadership helps maintain school spirit, puts on our dances and does a lot of great things. like toys for tots is put on by the leadership class, which is such a great and charitable thing to do. another great thing our school has is our staff. for the most part i really enjoy my teachers. i feel like there are a lot of teachers very dedicated in their work which is great to see. what i especially like is the TIES program, i think it is so amazing to have a class where you learn out of a book. i love seeing progress in the student you work with or to help them reach a goal. Lakeland also provides a lot of extra curriculars and sports for people with all different interests. i think thats very important, because i think it is such a great thing to be invovled with your school and all the options make it easier. and one of my favorites are the dances! i think we put on some really great dances along with the spirit week before them.

Five good things about Lakeland would be the sports, the TIES program, some of the staff, my friends, and leadership. First, the sports. Although a lot of our sports havent been as great this year as the past few years we still have a lot of impressive athletes. Second, the TIES program. Im sure you know what that is but if not its the class where a TIES goes to a class with a student with ASD and helps them socially and academically. This is a really great program that im not sure other schools have. It allows you to learn more about ASD and be hands on in helping another student. Third, most of the staff at lakeland are very welcoming and helpful. We do have some teachers that the school would be better without. But, there are some that this school would be nothing without. Theyre the ones that know how to teach and form connections with their students. Fourth, my friends. Lakeland would be nothing without them, at least for me. If they werent here everyday, i wouldnt be able to survive school. Last, the leadership program. They plan school events, spread school spirit and do a lot more. Even though i havent personally been in the class ive heard and seen so many good things come from them. Those are 5 things that make lakeland great.

I know that people complain a lot about Lakeland, but it is actually a really great school. I think it is awesome that we have so many great programs. TIES is a great example of one of the programs at Lakeland. Another positive thing is how once a week we have seminar. I love looking forward to it each week. We also have an excellent sports program. I love how each week there is always some sort of a sporting event to attend with your friends. Mr. Rolondo does an amazing job getting everyone involved and having fun. The pep assemblies are always super fun. By far the best thing about Lakeland Highschool, is the teachers. I think we take it for granted how awesome a lot of the teachers are at our school. Our teachers are so involved and do so much for us, from Communication's camp to Challenge day. I really love Lakeland.

Even though i really dislike going to school, there are a lot of positives. I think lakeland sports teams are very good. There are many different things to choose from, keeping us teens occupied. So for most of us, instead of doing drugs we have soccer or tennis practise. I also think that our teachers do very well at their job, for the most part. They educate you. thirdly, i think our custodians keep the school pretty clean. I've been to other highschools and they've looked like shit. We rarely ever have garbage lieing all over the ground in the hallways. We may not be the richest school but i think its still good. Just about everyone at lakeland has school spirit. Whenever we have spirit day it seems like everyone is dressing up for the occasion. some just a little bit, but others go all out. I think its very cool that people have such dedication to youe school. Lastly, i think we have a wide verity of electives. From cooking to designing shirts. They provide so many different things for kids to try out and possibly want to do when they grow up. I really want to go into interior design when i grow up and it helped a lot when i took interior design. i learned a lot about the history behind it all. Things i had no idea about. I think they push kids to figure out if this or that is right for them and if they want to go into that feild.

my internet was down lastnight, sorry.

Lakeland has many great aspects going on. An area in lakeland that dose not need room for improvemnt is in there sports. Lakeland has done very well in there sports and I should continue to do so. Also Lakeland tends to have alot of caring teachers that want to see their students do well which I think is a very good aspect of lakelend. Another positive aspect of lakeland is there workout areas, I like that you can go in there whenever you want to work for a sport. Lakeland also has alot of great elective classes such as graphic arts and foods ect. The last positive aspect of lakeland I can think about is being able to be in the team tought class, it is alot of fun and I enjoy the activities we do.
