So we keep reading Act 2 and you should be re-reading Act 2 as we finish various parts. Nora is freaking out and somewhat paranoid thinking that Krogstaad is going to be popping up at any moment. For this blog, I want you to write out a dialogue between Nora and Torvald where she comes clean with him. Think about how you think he would react finding out about her borrowing money and then keeping a secret and think about her reaction as he reacts. Also, think about the time the story takes place.
Your dialogue needs to include 10 interactions from both people and should clearly indicate that you get their personalities thus far. Also, no direct copying from someone else. Show your creativity.

Nora- I have something to tell you Torvald.
Torvald- What is it my dear? I sense something is troubling you.
Nora- Yes, your not going to be very happy with me and I am affraid of telling you.
Torvald- Im sure whatever it is, its not that big of a deal. Out with it.
Nora- Well, you see when you were sick last year i might have taken out a loan to pay for the trip without your consent.
Torvald- YOU WHATT?!
Nora- Yes and Krogstad let me. Im sorry, but it was all for you.
Torvald- You disobey me and go behind my back. You are a good for nothing wife.
Nora- (crying) it was to save your life, why do you not understand?
Torvald- You disobeyed me, what do you not understand.
Nora- But...
Torvald- No buts! You disobeyed me and thats that. Is there anything else my lieing wife should tell me.
Nora- I buy macaroons too and i enjoy them!
Torvald- Your good for nothing.
Nora- (Leaves the room crying).
Nora-Hey Torvald, didnt know you would be home so early.
Torvald-Well Dear, I finished up all my work pretty fast today
Nora-Oh that nice, now that I have you here I have to tell you something.
Torvald-Go on with it, who else do you want to get me a job now.
Nora-No honey nothing about that
Torvald-Then what is?
Nora- Before when you were sick I borrowed money from somebody last year to pay for our trip.
Torvald-YOU WHAT?
Nora- Yes
Torvald-I cant beleive this from who?
Nora- Korgstad my dear.
Torvald- Oh my goodness Nora have you gone completely mental?
Nora- I did it to save your life, why cant you appreciate that.
Torvald- You know how I feel about borrowing money.
Nora- Well at least I did it for something that I cared about.
Torvald-That is true, I am sorry for being so hard on you.
Nora- No No, no apology, I deserve it for not telling you the truth.
Torvald- Anything else that I should no about.
Nora- Yes.
Torvald-Let me hear it.
Nora- I bought macaroons and when you asked me if I had any I lied to you.
Torvald-Wow Nora
Nora- (looking at Torvald as he's sitting on the couch) Hi honey how are you.
Torvald- (in an angered voice) Have you been keeping secrets from me.
Nora- why do you ask.
Torvald- don't question me, I know you have been lying to me.
Nora- how have you found out.
Torvald-( kind of calmed down now that he knows the truth) I opened a letter from Krogstad.
Nora- why would you do such a thing?
Torvald- i am the man of the house i have the right!
Nora- Why should it matter i save your life.
Torvald- It does not matter you went against my wishes.
Nora- im sorry.
Torvald- don't talk to me until i have cooled down!
(a couple hours go by and Torvald is not heard from)
(Nora now entering the bedroom)
Nora- Torvald honey are you OK?
(no answer)
(Nora is trying to wake Torvald but her is not responding. she calls doctor rank to come over)
Dr. Rank- Nora dear Torvald has had a heart attack and died.
(Dr. Rank has come to the conclusion that Torvald has died from all of the excitement.)
Nora- Torvald I have something important to tell you.
Torvald- What is it.
Nora- You are not going to kill me when I tell you are you.
Torvald- No nothing you could do could make me want to kill you.
Nora- When you were sick I may have borrowed money to pay for the trip.
Torvald- WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO U MORON.
Nora-We didnt have the money to get there and you needed to get better.
Torvald- So then we shouldnt have gone and you should have let me get better on my own.
Nora- The doctor said this was the only way to get you better.
Torvald- I dont care how did we pay for this.
Nora- It is ok I have most of it payed off.
Torvald- Who did you borrow the money from?
Nora- Krogstad that is why you must let him keep his job.
Torvald- It is to late now I already sent the letter.
Nora- Well mabey you could stop it some how?
Torvald- No it is to late now and on top of all this my reputation will be ruined when every one finds out that the vice president needed to borrow money from an employee.
Nora- Mabey he wont tell any one.
Torvald- No I know he will because I just fired him and he will do anything to get back at me.
Nora-Well could you ever forgive me.
Torvald- I am not sure it is going to take time for me to trust you again let alone forgive you this could ruine me you know.
Nora- Torvald, I have some bad news.
Torvald- What would that be my little songbird?
Nora- I know how you are so against borrowing money... but I'm afraid I have to come clean with something.
Torvald- Come on with it dear
Nora- Do you recall the trip to Italy we had due to your illness?
Torvald- Yes, of course I do. We spent a whole year there.
Nora- Well, it wasn't really my father that gave us the money for that trip. Krogstad let me borrow the money under a contract.
Torvald- What?! Are you telling me under all these years of security, I had un-knowingly had a large debt?
Nora- Yes, darling. I thought I was doing it for the best.
Torvald- That may be, but...
Nora- Torvald please understand, I only wanted you to recover from your illness.
Torvald- That is no excuse for creating such a large lie! Especially to your husband!
Nora- You know I would never intentionally try to hurt you, Torvald!
Torvald- Songbirds are not in a position of authority to be making decisions such as this. You are nothing more than a filthy pigeon!
Nora- (sobbing) Oh Torvald, could you ever forgive me?
Torvald- Nora, I am well aware that you have made miniscule lies in the past, but this by far tops it off.
Nora- Then please, the one thing that I ask of you is that you let Krogstad keep his job. You see, I actually forged my father's name on the contract after he died... and Krogstad is well aware of that. This could be a major problem for the both of us.
Torvald- I am just too furious to even respect the most insignificant wish you may have at this point!
Nora- Oh Torvald, please forgive me! You know I was trying to do this for the better!
Torvald- Nora, your trickery has gone on long enough. I think you'd better leave.
CODY DYKES
(Nora is sitting in the living space patiently after a long day as she awaits for her husband. She has learned that Krogstaad has been removed from his job a few days ago.)
(Torvald Walks in)
Nora- Hello, how was your day at work?
Torvald- It was like any other day, only this strange thing happened...
Nora- what was was it?
Torvald- Krogstaad, he came to me and told me some things i hadn't wished to hear.
Nora- whatever it was I'm sure it wasn't true.
Torvald- He told me that the money for the trip was borrowed from him. Not given to us from your father. Is that true?
Nora- How could that be true? Of course he was lying. Do you believe him?
Torvald- Well should i believe him? Unless he had the proper evidence showing your lie.
Nora- and of course he did not.
Torvald- Quite the contrary. He showed me the document with your fathers superposed signature on it with a date.
Norma- and what did the date say?
Torvald- It was dated AFTER his death. Now how do you think that happened?
Nora- OK, i did it. But i did it for you. If i would have done anything else you would be dead, or we would be broke.
Torvald- ......You were jjust trying to fullfil your duties as a wife. But you should have not lied.
Nora- i always whanted to tell you but never could. I was worried i would destroy your pride.
Torvald- You were very fake about this. Why Krogstaad if anyone? You know his horrible reputation.
Nora- I did not know were to turn.
Torvald- You should have told me from the begining. But you have showed me something iv never realized before...
Nora- What is it?
Torvald- You are more capable than i ever thought you could be, and I'm proud of that.
Nora- Torvald...can you come here please?
Torvald- what do you need now?
Nora- I...I need to tell you somthing.
Torvald- What is it my little spendthreft?
Nora- I...I...
Torvald- Out with it, i dont have time for this.
Nora- Well...Do you remember our vacation?
Torvald- Yes, the one you were so dieing to go on.
Nora- Well the money for the trip was not from my father...
Torvald- What? How did you get the money then!
Nora- I....I borrowed i--
Torvald- YOU WHAT!
Nora- I borrowed some money from....from Krog--
Torvald- From krogstad! is this why you wanted him to keep his job so badley! NORA! You...how could you!
Nora- I...Im sorry but there is somthing else...I forged a signature oon the I.O.U...oh dont be mad Torvald...I...I did it for you...
Torvald- FOR ME?!? You ruined our families name, my name, FOR ME?
Nora- (Crying) Im sorry, Your life...Was in danger...I did what i thought was needed.
Torvald- You mean all this time you were spending our money to pay off a debt?!? NORA, get out! right now!
Nora- (Still crying) im sorry.
Torvald- (to himself) Maybe she did do it out of the goodness of her heart...But..well.. its too late now.
Nora- Hey Torvald your little squirrel has something big to tell you so you better sit down.
Torvald- What is it? Why do I need to sit down?
Nora- Okay...here it goes...
Torvald- Out with it my little fairy!
Nora- Remember when you were really sick and needed 200 pounds for the operation?
Torvald- Yea of course. Why?!
Nora- Well did you ever wonder who magically got the money?
Torvald- No as long as we didn't struggle for it does it really matter?
Nora- Well I borrowed the money from Krogstad.
Torvald- You what!! I can't believe you would go behind my back like that you stupid useless bitch!
Nora- I'm so sorry, I did it for you and the family (crying).
Torvald- I want you to pack your things and leave by tomorrow.
Nora- Torvald please don't do this!
Torvald- If your things aren't packed when I get back I'll pack them myself (leaves the room and goes to the bar).
-Dick Nehring
Nora-Torvald would you be mad if you squirrel did something bad.
Torvald-Its depends on what it is
Nora-Well...I haven't been that honest with you
Torvald-What do you mean?
Nora-Remember you told me we shouldn't borrow money from people
Torvald-Yeah
Nora-Well I um...do you remember that time we went to Italy
Torvald-Yeah Nora what are you trying to say
Nora-Well Torvald I ahh...well I didn't exactly get the money from my dad...i got it from Krogstad
Torvald-What? Why did you do that?
Nora-Well you see I didn't want to ask my dieing dad for money because you were deadly sick...and Krogstad was the only one that I knew had money at the time so we made a contract and I forged my fathers signature so I could get the money
Torvald-You disobeyed me. You been lying all this time...your just like Krogstand filling our children’s with poison of your lies
Nora-But I wanted helped you ge-
Torvald-No Nora I can't even look at you right now
[Nora enters the scene, dragging Torvald into the living room with her. She sits down on the ground and pats on the seat next to her, signaling him to sit down also. He does so.]
Nora: Torvald, my dear, there is something that has been on my mind as of late.
Torvald: What is it, my squanderbird? Would you like some money to spend?
[Torvald begins to reach into his pocket. Nora stops him and nods her head from side to side.]
Nora: No, it's not - well, I would very much love some money but that isn't what I have come to you for.
Torvald: My spendthrift comes to me looking for not money but something else? I am taken aback. Something is amiss.
Nora: You sense it?
Torvald: Yes, it is particularly apparent when you refuse the money that I offer you. After all, you are my favorite and only spendthrift. What is wrong, love?
Nora: Dear, I have been meaning to tell you for some time...
Torvald: Yes?
Nora: And I'm sorry that I haven't told you...
Torvald: Go on.
Nora: And I hope that you don't get mad at me...
Torvald: Out with it!
Nora: Very well. Torvald, I'm going to be very frank. I have borrowed money.
[She winced as the last words escaped her lips, wishing to take them back as they exited.]
Torvald: From who?
[Torvald remained calm.]
Nora: Well, my love, let me tell you the details before I disclose that. When we went on our trip to Italy, it was not simply because I wanted to go on a trip, no. Torvald, it was to save your life. The doctors had informed me that you were very ill and that such a trip would be the cure.
Torvald: My squirrel, you have saved my life? I am flabbergasted. I appreciate it in the most grateful way. But Nora I am aware that you borrowed money.
Nora: Yes...
Torvald: Your father gave you the money for that trip shortly before his passing, no?
Nora: Well, no.
Torvald: Nora, who did you borrow money from in order to go on this trip?
Nora: K...Krogstad.
[Torvald's face began to glow a sharp red hue. His eyes widened as he ran his hand through his hair angrily.]
Torvald: Krogstad the Snake?! The man who has morally poisoned the minds of any who have drawn breath in his presence? Krogstad the Sour?! Who has worked at my place of business as poorly as a rodent would work? Krogstad the Lawyer?! The man who works for the law yet disobeys it himself?
Nora: Yes, Krogstad.
Torvald: Away with you!
[Torvald slips into his overcoat and opens the front door furiously. Before stepping out of it, he turns to Nora and shakes his head to and fro. He was disgusted.]
Scene fades.

Torvald - and just why must i not get rid of krogstaad?
Nora - well, you see, theres something i must tell you
Torvald - oh?
Nora - yes torvald, i borrowed money from him.
Torvald - you what?!
Nora - yes, i borrowed money from him. not from my father. theres more...
Torvald - nora this is unspeakable of you
Nora - torvald, you were terribly sick and we needed to go to italy for you to heal
Torvald - you couldnt tell me this?
Nora - i tried torvald, you thought it was a petty matter
Torvald - i cant take you seriously nora.
Nora - torvald it was important to your health.
Torvald - i wished you would seek my approval for these things
Nora - well you see, it had to be done, so i forged my fathers signature. krogstaad was in on it from the beginning. he says if you fire him, it will be the end of you.
Torvald - do you realize what this could do to me? to us? my reputation? our money?
Nora - i didnt realize the gravity of it until now
Torvald - thats just great.
Nora - Christine can wait.
Torvald - chritine must wait. i need to take care of this ordeal youve made us first. i cant believe you. youre not who you appear
Nora - money is clearly not my area of xpertise.
Nora:Torvald dear, your little songbird has something to confess.
Torvald:Yes my love tell,tell.
Nora:Well...I...I...I just must come out with it then! Silly silly songbird I am. Torvald darling, please do not be upset with what I am going to tell you-
Torvald:Out with it already!
Nora:Now over never I say then!I just might...I just might have borrowed something in the past you have absoluetly no idea about-
Torvald:Oh no!not my beautiful songbird!?How could you if you know my pride means so much to me. What exactly did you borrow?
Nora: Do you recall when we took that trip to Italy and spent a year there?
Torvald:Yes,yes of course I do.
Nora: While you were sick I had to do what I knew was best for the family-
Torvald: Out with it now!
Nora: Okay my love okay. You deserve at least to know the truth by now I suppose. I...I...borrowed money from Krogstad to take this trip. Mind you, you were always at my best interest as well as our beloved children. You were so ill and I was so alone... I am so sorry I-
Torvald: This is perposterious! You have got to be mistaken?! Please tell me this is some sort of joke you are playing on me. Songbirds do not borrow money.
Nora: I am sorry to say, no you are not mistaken in what you are hearing. I beg of you to stay with me and know I was just trying to keep the family together. Also I have to ask you a favor?
Torvald: You must me completely mad to ask me a favor at a time like this!
Nora: You know how important the society is to us and our place in it. And well if you don't keep Krogstad at his place at the bank our standings will be shattered.
Torvald: You have some nerve woman telling me what I should do and what I shouldn't do. Have you lost your mind? Have you totally lost track of who runs this house?
Nora: No no no! Torvald I beg of you! Please understand what I am saying! I have almost paid all of the money back to Krogstad we are so close! We can do this!-
Torvald: ENOUGH! I have heard enough of this nonsense! As much as you have betrayed me in more ways then I am sure I know now, we will fix this. He shall keep his job and we shall pay of the lasts of it and be done with this.
Nora: Oh my love! I knew you would understand me!..-
Torvald: But do not misundertand what I am meaning.
Nora: What do you mean?
Torvald: We will fix this, and drop it. Things will never be the same. Now you, are forever in debt to me. My pretty little doll living in my dollhouse is where you will be.
Nora:(sits in silence and starts to weep wondering if things could ever really be the same)
SCENEEEEEEEEE. :)
Nora- Dear, there has been something that has been on my mind for quiet some time now.
Torvald-Hmmmm, what has been troubling you darling? I could see you down for quiet some time squirel.
Nora- Well the truth is is....
Torvald- Spit it out already Nora!
Nora- Well.......i borrowed money. But it was for you own health. Well say something Torvald.
Torvald- I am speakless darling. The fact of the matter is you went behind my back... I am the one who has to agree to the borrow.
Nore- Torvald honey, i know i am so sorry from keeping it from you. I had to get you well again and this was the only way.
Torvald- I appreciate you helping, but now ... i just don't know..You went behind my back..
Nora- Will you ever find it to forgive me darling? Please....
Torvald- ( Stits there in silence)
Nora- This has been eating away at me for years and I have been so lost not to tell you honey..I am sorry
Torvald- I believe that is all you can say
Nora- I did it to save your life
Torvald- But why dod you have to keep it from me for so loong. Why?
Nora- Honey, i was terrifed. I knew you hatedborrowing money what was i suppost to do.
Torvald- Be honest with me...that's what you could have done..
Nora- I finally had too...
Torvald- Now we can deal with this as a couple. Man and wife the way it should be
Nora- I am glade for you to be so understanding. Thank you honey
Torvald- NO more secrects from me right?
Nora- Right.
Torvald- Nora, you have not been quiet all morning and seem as though something is troubling you.
Nora- ..well, I don't know Torvald.
Torvald- whatever it is little squirrel.. you know you can tell me.
Nora- No, Torvald, not this time..
Torvald- oh Nora please just tell me, what has been troubling you.
Nora- Okay Torvald, your not going to be very please with me.. but..
Nora- You know how you were very sick last year, even close to death, and we took our big trip for you to get recovery..
Torvald- Yeah..
Nora- Well I told you that the money we had used for the trip was given to me by my father.. well.
Nora- It wasn't..
Torvald- Oh nora.. what have you done this time..
Nora- well I borrowed the money..
Torvald- THE WHOLE 250 POUNDS YOU BORROWED NORA!!?
Nora- Yes Torvald, I borrowed all of it from Krogstad, and now he is on my back every day for us to pay it all back to him.
Torvald- Oh Nora I cannot believe you.. this is definitely your worst mistake by far..
Torvald- I am in shock Nora, what do you suppose we do about this situation now, you know this is my worst fear in life.. being in debt.
Nora- I know darling, I am so sorry.. but it was for the sake of your life and.. well I just had to..
Torvald- No you did not need to dos uch a thing Nora, this is just over the top, I am blown away by your stupidity and I just don't even know what to say to you.. or better yet what to do with you..
Nora-[leaves the room in tears]
[Torvald walks upstairs into his study fuming at Nora for asking him to keep Krogstad in his position. The door slams behind him.]
Nora: Racing up the stairs after him and throwing the doors to the study open Torvald!
Torvald: Again! You dare to bother a man about this despicable issue! My little songbird isn't as innocent as I was such led to believe.
Nora: Torvald, I ask because I must! You must see this!
Torvald: All I see is a wife who has forgotten her place in this home!
Nora: darkly Oh yes, silly me for taking care of my husband now as well as when he was ill. I suppose that I have been wrong to do that, have I not Torvald?
Torvald: What do you possibly mean 'take care of me'? Have I not made it clear that Krogstad's slanderous murmurings will be nothing but mere pinpricks to me Nora? Looks at her up and down, regretting being angry I can see that my sweet porcelain lady hasn't had the worst of intentions after all.
Nora: Oh do you now?
Torvald: I will forgive this manner in which you speak to me! But do not test my patience, for even mine is not as gracious as you would believe.
Nora: You don't see it do you Torvald?
Torvald: See what my Miss Demanding?
Nora: You say that I am not doing my duty simply by asking you to secure Krogstad's position?
Torvald: Have I not stated my reasons clearly enough for Miss Demanding?
Nora: Yes, but it is not as if I am making an awful request of you.
Torvald: What is with this sudden urgency to keep Krogstad's position?
Nora: Looks slightly guilty at Torvald, but bitter and hurt at the same time
Torvald: You've done something foolish haven't you?
Nora: As I said, if allowing one's husband to live is foolish, then so be it.
Torvald: What do you mean 'letting me live'?
Nora: You have no idea just how dreadfully ill you were, have you? No. No, no, no. I kept it from you Torvald! Don't you see? You could have died!
Torvald: What are you talking about my sweet? That brief episode was nothing more trying than requiring a breath of fresh air!
Nora: No, Torvald. I hid your condition from you out of fear. The good doctor said you were bound unto death had I not taken you to Italy.
Torvald: You? You took me to Italy? Don't act as if the credit is yours! I paid for the trip!
Nora: No, Torvald. You did not. I did.
Torvald: Again, you insist on this game of idiocy! Where, by God, where a woman find enough money? Beat. You didn't...
Nora: Looks at him defiantly. I did.
Torvald: You have soiled my name then! How long has it been since I impressioned you with the notion that I want no debts to hang over our heads!
Nora: Only every day, Torvald.
Torvald: And yet, you still defy me?! Is this the root of your obsession with Krogstad? Has he been your beneficiary?
Nora: Runs pleadingly to Torvald. Yes Torvald, but don't you see? It was necessary!
Torvald: It does not matter! You have killed my honour as surely as you have killed my sold with this slander! You! My porcelain doll! My pretty songbird! My little squirrel!
Nora: You cannot see that this was my only option?
Torvald: I do not care if religion bound you to it, I will not have it!
Nora: You are truly this blind to the truth. Ha! You're truly this despicable to say to me that you do not appreciate my hardships? Since I borrowed that money, I have paid it back diligently. I have but twenty pounds left, and you, In your abjectness have no cause to see that it is a mere drop in light of the income you will now make? Turns and walks out the door.
Torvald: Where are you going!?
Nora: Away from here! I've no desire to be subjected to your whims and despotism any longer. I'm leaving you Torvald!
[Nora storms out the stage and Torvald is left standing there in shock and confusion.]
( Nora is waiting anxiously for Torvald to return home from work. He is running late and Nora can barely handle the butterflies in her stumach. She had known that Krogstad had gotten fired a few days ago. Torvald walks in.)
Torvald- Hi honey, I'm home.
Nora- What took you so long, I wish you would'nt push yourself to hard at work.
Torvald- Why do you look so ancy today, my dear Nora.
Nora- Well..., I've been meaning to tell you something for quite a long time.
Torvald- Go on, what is it?
Nora- You know I don't like to keep secrets from you...?
Torvald- Just get on with it! What is so important that you are keeping from me?
Nora- The money I got wasn't from where you think.
Torvald- What are you talking about!?!( Torvald sits down in shock not knowing what she is going to tell him next.)
Nora- When you go sick... I, well I got worried so I borrowed money for our trip!!! (Torvald stands back up, his face is beat red.)
Torvald- What!!! You would betray me like that! From who, who I ask you! Who did you get the money from?
Nora- It was all for good cause. I asked Krogstad and he...
Torvald- He is done, but for you. Nora you have made me look like a fool! Does anybody else know!?!
Nora- Only Krogstad and Ms.Lind.
Torvald- Why would you tell her, and why would Krogstad loan you the money without my concent?
Nora- I forged my fathers signature, but Krogstad had found out. ( At this point Nora is on the ground crying. Torvald breaks into an incredible rage. He grabs her by the hair, and drags her through the house. Once they make it to the kitchen Torvald grabs a knife. Nora struggles to get away but Torvald is to strong. He then stabs her in the back several times and killed her.)
THE END
Nora-Torvald theres something i must tell you.
Helmer-What is it my little song bird
Nora-Please just promise me you wont disown me torvald.
Helmer-Nora out with it already.
Nora-Well when you were sick i dead something so dreadful to even say..I borrowed money from krogstad.
Helmer-I can believe you would do something like that. How much?
Nora-250 pounds.
Helmer- Nora my dear you have destryoed my reputation you are like a little kid you cant listen.
Nora- Torvald i was just trying to save your life im very sorry.
Helmer-Nora i dont wanna hear it right now.
Torvald-Whats wrong my little song bird is something on your mind?
Nora-Yes, but there is no need for you to worry about it.
Torvald-Nora I am your husband and if something is bothering you then it is my duty to help you out.
Nora-Well....Do you remember when you were awfly sick and we had to go to Italy?
Torvald-Why yes that was a fine trip, is that whats wrong, you want to go back?
Nora-O i would love to but it has to do with how we paid for it.
Torvald-Your father gave us that money before he died
Nora-Thats what the paper said but that's not who i actually got it from
Torvald-What do you mean? Where did it come from?
Nora- It came from Krogstad and iv'e been paying him back ever s ince.
Torvald-You did what? O my little songbird, how could you betray me so. What times are these where a man cannot even take care of his family without his wife messing things up.
Nora- Torvald, I am dreadfully sorry but it was either that or you would die. What would happen to the kids and I without you to take care of us.
Torvald-YOu knwo how i feel about borrowing money and having debts.
Nora-Yes i know, but, there is more....
Torvald- My dearest Nora what more trouble could you possibly ahve gotten yourself into.
Nora- The signiture did not come from my father, i signed for him after he had died and now Krogstad is holding it against me and threatens to turn me in.
Torvald-Let them come, we will show him that we are not afraid. I will tell them that it was all my idea. I will save us and get us out of this trouble.
Nora- No, Torvald there is no way that i could let you do that, I have put you and your reputation in great danger. I could never live with myself if my troubles would affect you so greatly.
Torvald-We are a family and we share our burdens equally so that wwe can better solve them.
Nora-No, Torvald i must do this alone. I am going to talk to Krogstad, and if i need your help then and only then will i ask you for help.
(Nora leaves the house)
Tom Hall
Torvald, I got something really important to tell you. You are going to be very upset hearing this. Are you ready? Well. Here I go. I lied and signed a loan out in our name. I know that you never want to take out loans, but, I decided that we really needed a trip to Italy to cure yourself. I would rather you be mad at me than you be dead. So. I decided to forge your signature on the loan. Thank you for understanding.
