what a classic example of an inspirational quote. it embodies the spirit of the idea, that in failure, comes success. or the idea that when you make mistakes, you make learning experiences from the failures you create on the way to ultimate success. it is often believed that if on your way, if you havent made any shortcoming, you have truly not succeeded. and by overcoming obstacles and rising up, you feel the true success of your work. likewise some of the worlds greatest achievements come out of failure.
This quote is saying that with failure, come success. That means that when you make mistakes you learn from them and ultimately succeed in life. No mistakes would mean no learning takes place. So, in order to succeed, you must make some mistakes.
What this quote is thinking is that failure is one way to succed. This is for those who only think failure is bad but it is also good. Another version of this quote would be failure only leads to success. Also failure helps to teach people things so they do not do them again. This is helpful in the real world so people are not making the same mistakes twice. People should not get so worked up over failure because it can help to.
Im not really aure what he is saying here. I think he is saying to learn you must fail. Because if you never fail then you can never learn. Kind of like if a boy is always doing the wrong thing and no one ever tells him it isnt right, why whould he keep doing it. Someone has to say it is wrong to understand or no one will ever get it. So basicly you must not succed sometimes to be able to prosper in life. This is how i think everyones lives should be lived.
James Allen shows in his quote great wisdom, and a positive outlook on life, which I think everyone needs a refreshing on every now and then. The first part of the quote saying to "begin to think with purpose" is setting out goals for youself and knowing it is the smartest thing to do before you begin something, little or big. Even if your not starting something, it is important to have missions in your life that you want to fulfill and knowing before you go out and achieve them you know what you are looking to succeed in the end with. The second part of the quote saying "strong ones who only recongnize failure as one of the pathways to attainment" is saying to have knowledge that from your mistakes something good can happen. It is vital to sincerly remember that when some things go wrong, it's so better things can fall together. Sometimes, yes, it's hard to see the silver lining, but everyone is always better off being positive about absolutely anything in life. A positive mind set leads to great accomplishments and makes them seem brighter and easier. When one thing goes wrong it is always a pathway to attaining greater things then you may have never thought before. :)

I think this quote is trying to say that everybody makes mistakes. To get to where you are in life it is not going to be easy. You are going to fail at things. You cant get to a good position without failing and knowing what failure is like. I think that is how you handle the failure that makes you get better. If you fall down you have to get back up. Thinking with a purpose is very important part in getting better in life.
I think that this quote means that once you start putting thought into things you realize what is really helpfull and meaningfull to you. If you start off doing somthing only to win at it but start to realize that your goal is out of reach. Once you lose you start to think of those things you did wrong and how you can use them to correct what you had did for next time. It also is very simmiliar to other quotes such as "practitce makes perfect" and " with failure you gain the steps for success. I personally think that this quote has some truth in it and is a very easy thing to go along with. Most of us are not perfect at everything but if we try and try again we can become closer each time. You may be made fun of for failing at something, but if you take the stpes and anaylize what you did wrong you can become even better then those that mocked you in the past. You just cant give up on somthing, If at first you dont succeed try again.
I think the quote is saying sometimes you may fail. But really you may have suceeded. So it is ok to fail. Even though you may have fail it may be a good learning experience in the long run. From your mistakes you can fix them and then you will suceed. So from your mistakes that may be wrong at the time you can go back and fix them so you suceed. That is what the qoute means to me. I hope I have the right meaning og the quote.

this quote is really expressing how mistakes teach you a valuable lesson.
it is saying that if you make a mistake in life don't let it put a chip on your shoulder learn from it. don't let it effect you for the rest of your life make a negative into a positive. some of the best things in life can come from the worst failure. it could also teach you to never make the same mistake again. its just like a life lesson.i do believe that if you turn a failure into success you will also succeed.

Oh goodie, this is one of those B.F.S.I.Q.T.N.L. typ-a deals. To that acronym, I will attempt to shape a response to the best of my ability. Personally, I believe that this quote, on the surface, is a "learn from your mistakes" quote. We all are aware of these, people who use school-issued adgendas do, since they litter every page with overly optimistic clap-trap that makes you want to write a quote that has at least one sexual connotation to it in the margins surrounding it. However, when one chooses to look deeper, (Jesus I hate InternetExplorer... and BootCamp...), this quote also alludes to the fact that a wise person not only learns from mistakes, he realizes that he does and understands the mistake. What good is learning something if a) it doesn't sink-in or; b) you have no idea what the lesson was supposed to convey. Aside from that, there's also reference, as I said, to wisdom--in some oddly-twisted and discombobulated sort of way--in the word "strength". At least, that's what I percieve that word's syntax in this case to be. In essence, we become wiser when we not only learn from our mistakes, but recognize that we do and make a concerted effort to take that lesson to heart.
I think think this quote means that you try hard for a goal because you want it. Its saying that you would work hard for that goal if you really want it deep down. Its like a football quote I know,"play with a purpose". You play because you want to beat the guy across from you. The guy across from you wants it just as much as badly as you do. The feeling when you accomplish something it great. Also,I think it means that you will have some failure's on the way to sucess. Even though you may fail you are still having sucess with learning what you did wrong and to correct that.
Well it is going to be really hard to write about this one becuase im confused. But if I had to take a guess it means for every failure we learn somthing?? But to be honest im really confused. Sorry Mr. Kay

This quote means failure is key in life. You can learn and grow from mistakes in life. If you were perfect all the time, there would be nothing to learn from. You can only be stronger from falling. The only place to go is back up. Failure can also give you the push you need to go out and complete your goals, by making you try. It gives you a place to start and you only wanna work harder. I think this quote is very wise and I really agree with this quote.
Failure and mistakes in life are the key to being successful, and they ultimately create the person you are going to be in the future. When you make mistakes in life, it comes down to whether or not you are taking that and running with it and learning so you can do it different nect time, or seeing it as a burden and that it is something that will never be overcome. The ones who become strong in life are the ones that truely realize that mistakes are meant to happen, and that nobody in this world it perfect so it is just meant to happen. Sometimes Failure in life can be much more worth your while, than just getting it right all the time because when you never do anything wrong it becomes a routine, and you fall into a trap that making a mistake is bad. Which in reality, the strongest are the ones to fail, and pick themselves back up again and do it again, and they are the ones that go the farthest in their lives.
This quote is basically saying that you can only think with purpose when you realize that some achievements come only after failure. Failure isn't always a bad thing. Failure can help you grow and gain experience for future experiences and situations. When you think with purpose you think further than what is happening on the surface. Thinking with purpose is achieved by those who have the drive that keeps them going no matter what gets in the way. People tend to think about what is happening in front of them in the instant that it happens, they never really think about what can come out of it in the future. Thinking with purpose is only for those that think deeper than the situation in front of them.
I think this quote mean to not give up. Keep trying to you do what you wanted to do. But you must learn for your mistakes to succeed in life. You have to make mistakes and learn form them every now and then or you will never learn anything in life. By learning your mistakes you will succeed better in life. So don’t think negative and give up. Try your best and if you don’t succeed go over what you did wrong and try again.

I believe thing is quote is saying that when you fail you succeed. When you fail at something, you learn from that mistake that made you fail and you learn for the next time. This quote kinda relates to the quote if at first you dont succeed try and try again. Just like this quote, its saying that you shouldnt give up on what your doing because in the end if u keep trying your failure will lead to success. You learn a lot from your mistakes and your mistakes will only benefit you in the future. If you dont give up and you try your hardest you will always be able to succeed in life. You just have to want to and have to try.

i like this quote, it is trying to tell us that its ok to make mistakes. the purpose in life or your goal is to achieve it. and makeing mistakes is part of achieve our goal. the "strong ones" are the ones that can look at their mistake and learn from it. i believe that is what this quote is trying to tell us. the ones that thing with a purpose, and learn from their mistakes are the people that will reach their goal. the people that set goals and make mistakes and cant learn from them, are the people trying to recognize the ranks of the strong ones.
I believe that this statement is true, with failure comes success. Thats what I think this quote is targeting. It explains that you dont get anywhere without trying. As in people who dont want to try something just because they think they would be bad at it. To begin to think with purpose is to atlesat try to reach the goal your attending to. People who recognize failure as a gain in knowledge really accept and embrace what they elarned and take it into account with what their dealing with. Only those who acknowledge failure are the ones who are going to succeed in their process' of daily life.
i think this qute is very similar to one that einstien said. that quote being have found a thousand way how to not make a lightbulb before finding a way to make one (something like that). to means these quotes mean many things. the first of them being that you cant always go into something new thinking that you are going to get the hang of it right away and that it will always be easy for you. life isnt always like that and its the challenges that make you better. if you go into something that is challenging and you fail isnt that better than going into something and passing just because its easy for you? when we fail we always learn from our mistakes. some fasster than others but still we learn. you cant have sucess without failure because failure is where you learn and sucess is where you show what you learned after failing.

This is completely touching just because i understnad the quote because i agree, i agree that to be able to succeed in life you have to realize that you can fail. to fail is to understand that failing is life and no matter how many times you do fail you are learning from it every single time. mistakes are natural and anyone who thinks they are perfect and cannot make mistakes to learn from them are fucked up. to acheive something only comes from failing.
-Lyns
Of course, everyone makes mistakes in life. The people that recognize and address these mistakes are the ones that will prosper. I, personally, have addressed some of my recent mistakes, and improved myself upon them. People that do this will get further in life. Failure isn't always a negative thing, either. For the most part, it can be a learning experience. When you fail at something, you can correct yourself and try to avoid the problem next time.

I think this means that failure at getting to a purpose will make you smarter when trying to complete your purpose. I'm agree with this goal completely and acknowledge it regularly. I think that its important to learn from your mistakes. I know from all my failed attempts at multiple things helped complete the goal in the end. Life is just a system of failures until you finally figure out whats going on. Some people never learn but does that mean they should never meet their purpose? I think that that's a good question and not to be mean but i would want to see if that's true or not.
I'm having trouble deciphering the meaning behind this quote, Marc. But I'll give it a shot.
Allen is, in my opinion (yes, I know that it is a no-no to use that in writing, but I'm feeling like a rebel), explaining that to truly give understand something, you may have to go through a number of failures in order to succeed. I'm going to use WD40 as an example of this, as a metaphor; the creators wished to make a product which could make hinges and such greasy, and it took them forty tries to do so. Clearly, they failed to reach their destination or conclusion forty times until they finally got the recipe so-to-speak correct. This, in much more realistic, introspective, and lifelike perspective, is essentially what James Allen is getting at.

To me the quote says a lot. It something i live by. It pretty much states that you may mess up but well you mess up you as so have a learning experiance. I dont really think someone can learn with out making some mistakes along the way. I have made some Big mistakes in my life. But i believe that if i hadn't of made them i wouldnt be the person i am today. So what about you? Have you ever messed up in your life, but ended up looking back and some point and thought wow im happy i messed up because i happy with what i learned from it?
