Day 15

So, my frustration is that many of you are not taking this class or your role in this class seriously and it is going to begin to effect your grade more and more. When I give time to work on something that is what it is for not to sit and just have conversation. Many of you got bit today for not thinking that I could or would collect the questions from the story.

For today:

“It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.”
Josiah Charles Stamp

Happy Halloween and have a safe weekend.

This is saying that it's easy to put off things you have to do. However, for the most part, you have to pay the price for slacking off. I believe you're referencing the people that weren't doing their work in class today. They most likely realized that they should use their time wisely. I believe consequences can be put off just as well as responsibilities, but they will always come back around to you. I try to take responsibility for the most part. I have learned from experience, that the consequences of not doing what you have to do aren't too nice.

This quote is saying that it is really easy to forget the tasks you have to do sometimes. You can be so wrapped up in haveing fun and forget about your responibilites. But, sooner then you know it, your consequences will come back and bite you in the butt. It's really saying the best thing to do is to use your time wisely. If you use time wisely then you have time to have fun. I try to use the time to my ability and so far it has paid off. You end up paying the prices when you slack off and it effects you. Happy Halloween!

i think this quote is saying it's easy to set things assied to do later. but if you set things aside there are consequences. like if you have chores to do but you go play instead. you could risk getting grounded. If you do htem now then there's no problem. that's why it's better to get things over with. the more you procrastinate the worse the problem can get.

this quote really goes good with what happened today. I think it is so easy for us to pass up our responsibilities that are right in front of our faces.but once a consequence occurs because of It we want to get ourselves out as quick as possible. But by then the situation is already too hard to get out of. We can't dodge our punishments because we had gotten ourselves into those messes. And it's only logical that we can get ourselves put and deal with our cpnsequence. it's just easier to put off our responsibilities that we have to deal with the effect sometime..

are you lashing out or something? anyway, life holds in all, responsibilities. you have to be responsibilities and accountable for everything you do. if you dont handle things appropriately and pursue all of your goals, you will prove yourself to you and the ones around you. accepting and living up to responsibilities brings respect unto you by your peers. if you fail to meat expectations, it is not only a let down to yourself, but to the ones that believe in you. such with school, you are responsible for all your actions, and work to be done. if you fail to produce, you let yourself down, and others will think less of you for that.

This quote means you can not run from the consequences. If your gunna not do your responsibilitys you should be prepared for the punishment. Some think that there should be no punishment. If there were none that no one would do what they had to. And if people werent doing what they had to then the world would be out of control. Thats why they have prison so stuff like this does'nt get extremly out of hand. So thats why you should always do what your told and respect authority.

This means that nomader what we do there will always be consequences and there is no way to avoid them. They can be gould or bad buy none there is no possible way to avoid them. Responsibilities are easy to not do but when you dont do them there are bad consequences. But if you do responsibilities there will be good consequences. People always suffer from bad consequences because they dont think about things before they do it so it will end bad. It is very easy to forget responsibilities and everyone has to pay. Everyone has to pay the price for their actions.

I think its saying its easy to dodge our responsibilities because you just don't do them. The conseguences of dodging our responsibilities will be worse than if you would have just keep the responsibility. Its like saying what comes around goes around. I try to stay true to my responsibilities but if I fail to keep them then their usually is consequences. I try to take responsibility for my actions. I usually admit my mistake and know im wrong, but what would we learn without mistakes. I have learned that lieing usually makes things worse and i thats why I admit when I am wrong.

This quote is pretty much what i was just talking about, useing examples as the blog. Many people choose not to blog and it is there choice to do so. When you miss your blog, your responsability, you have a few punishments you cant avoid. Your grade will suffer and you have to stay after school. I find this very big waste for not doing something so easy. On a much larger scale you could use the example of taxes. You can not pay your taxes, and avoid your responsibility to you country, but in the end you get in massive trouble for such a small thing. Your responsibilities are YOURS, get them done and live an easier life.

Im doing this blog and its 11:34 at night and only 8 others have posted. People are getting detentions hahaha.

“It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.”

This statement sounds like its talking about the judgment of tasks. To teenagers the #1 task is talk. If you are in school, #2 will always be school, and that's how kids fail. You need to take everything in school seriously. I'm kinda in a rough spot right now for that very reason. In class was the perfect example of judgment of tasks. So i don't know if this will count but i just made "Judgment of tasks up" and I'm pretty proud. People in class thought they could pass up there school work for talk because its Halloween. I think in a way that's a decent excuse seeing as i think we do a pretty good job every other day besides our blogs. But as this quote says some of us certainly did pay for not picking school over gossiping. I'm just saying that this is saying that we should pick the tasks at hand with a more responsible view.

BTW. It took me exactly 10 mins to write...

This quote is saying that it is easy to not take care of your resposnibilities. Then it is saying that we cannot put up with the consequence of putting off your responsibilities. It will come back and bite you if you don't do your responsibilities. So it is saying that if you have some responsibilities, you need to not put them off! If you have been putting them off, now is a perfect time to change! Use your time wisely! Don't procastinate. It will haunt you if you do.

Anonymous said...

this is saying that it is easy to procastinate or not do things. but it is not easy to get away withhout being punished for it. if you put off doing your homework and you dont turn it in. then you cannot get credit. and if you keep doing that many times your grade will fall continously and you will fail. because you need so many credits if you fail then you might have to take summer school or you wont graduate. it is always better do to your stuff when your supposed to so you dont have to deal with the consequences.

The quote is trying to say that it is easy to dodge things you have to do. But you can not dodge the consequences that come with it. Just like if your parents tell you to clean your room. But you dont feel like doing so you dont. So because you dont do it you may have to face the consequences. So it easier to dodge your responsibilities but you can not always dodge your consequences. That is what i think the quote means.

This quote means that you can be irresponsible. But only if you choose to be. You can dodge your responsibilities, but they will come back to haunt you. If you dodge responsibilities there will be consequences. This a little bit like karma. What goes around comes around, and if your arent responsible than there will be consequences. It is easy to forget your responsibilities. You won't like it when the consqeuences come though.

I think this quote is saying that it is easy to slack off and not do things. However, the consequences for not doing it is much harder to deal with. This also has to do with putting things off till the last minute or waiting to get things done. If you wait till the last minute you might come across problems that you could have dealt with if you wouldnt have waited. Also it may be harder to do if you wait. If you get things done early then you can have time to make it perfect instead of having many errors. I believe I have a big problem with this i put off a lot of things till the last minute whether its at school or at home. I know the conequences of it and need to practice getting things done earlier more then later more often.

This is saying that you can easily dodge your responsibilities, but not the results of dodging them. For instance if you are suppose to go to work but you decide not to you can easily dodge going to work, however you can't dodge the consequences when you go into work the next time. It is basically saying that it's easier to just take care of your responsibilities than to dodge. Or another example is not doing your homework. It's pretty easy to just throw your backpack in the house and leave without doing your homework, but then you have to go into school the next and listen to the teacher yell at you for not doing it and you have to make up for it when your grade drops. The best thing to do is just take care of your responsibilities and get your priorities straight so you don't have to make up for it after. You can always fall behind but you can't always catch up.

I hope you got the e-mail from my mom and that this counts for friday's blog? :)

This quote really does explain how our class has been acting lately, because some of the class is often dodging what you have been saying for us to do. This quote also goes with the saying "you reap what you sow". This is because if you try dodging what you need to get done, it will affect you later. Sometimes not taking responsibility for certain little things has the snowball effect. Being lazy with every the little thing after little thing, turns into bigger and bigger things in life. Which turns about to be a bad things becasue the bigger responsibilites always leave harder and harsher consequences. It is sometimes hard to stay focused and on track for the everyday tasks, but I believe they are very vitual to bigger things, as well as our character.

we should not dodge our responsibilities, its somthing we should do that is why its a responsibility. but when we do it is defenitly very hard to to come up and face the consequences. this quote is saying that every one has responsibilities and we shouldent have to dodge them. what would happen if a fire fighter dodged his responsibilities for one day?? how would he dodge the consequences? people have every day responsibilities wether we decide to do them is up to us. think to your self can you go a day with sciping your responsibilities? and dodge the consequences??

For this quote, I agree mostly with what Penis said. We all want to slack off and not do anything. It's honestly, easier to not do anything and sit on our butts and watch everything else happen. But, we all pay a price for doing so. That price varies as well, be it not having a stable or decent income, or not getting anywhere in life. And, the fact that we can't dodge what happens to us when we don't do what is expected of us. I think that this fact, is what's hardest to accept as well. Kids like me don't want to do anything. I honestly hate blogging, hate writing papers, hat doing math homework, and hate going to school. But I do it, because I realize that not doing anything would get me nothing. Again, like I said before, shit in, shit out.
