This is simply saying stay true to your friends. Don't try and look for anything else to hide behind because you wont. your friends and family are the most important thing in anybody life. I know for a simple and well known fact that this is true for me. I correct myself don't "hide" by your friends STAND BY THEM and they will help you through anything. So if you don't do anything right ever just go to your friends and they will be at your side for a long time.
I think this quote means to stick with your friends. Friends can be a large form of support in your life. If I ever have a problem in my life, I always go to my friends first. They are the people that know me better than anyone. I also think that the "fence" is a metaphor for verbally or physically fighting off your problems. This can just branch off into more problems. I believe any problem can be resolved through help from your friends.
i believe that quote "Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends." means that you shouldnt have to fight by your self. That your friends are people that are always there for you. They are the people who you can call when you are in trouble and need someone. You shouldnt block them out, you should let them in. Your friends are most likly the people that know you the most. So why no have them there for you?
Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends. Czech Proverb
This quote is hard for me to relate to because when someone says friends all i can do is think of the past. i use to have many friends, best friends, ok friends and now when i hear that word i cant help but wonder when will these so called "friends" return into my life. ever sense i started dating Aaron 3 months ago things have changed with my friends and i and that hurts dearly. what i fell this quote is saying is that when times get hard or you feel lonely dont find something to hide behind, smuther yourself in friends and feel wanted...
I believe that this proverb has a veey simple meaning. Fences, or, in this case, isolation, makes a poor defence. Being alone is never the best way to protect yourself from anything, as this proverb warns. When people are alone, others take advantage of them. Instead, surround yourself with your true friends. Friends make a better deterrent to anyone who is plotting against you and friends are better than no friends anyways. I stress true friends because those are the only type of friends who will stick with you no matter what.
this quote is saying that although fences are strong they still may break and bring about bad things. on the other hand your friends will always have your back and will last longer than a fence will. nothing else in life will protect you the way that your friends and family will. although sometimes they may do you wrong they will always be there for you in the end. also you should always remain true to your friends and give them the same protection that they give you. if you dont however you may loose their protection and be vulnerable to many things. surronding yourself with good friends is one of the best things that yu can do in your life and you should always return the favor.
Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends. Czech Proverb
this quote is saying friends are better protection for your life than a fence. friends can be really supportive and they can help you. they can really help you through the toughest time of your life. They can also help you through the not so tough stuff. like having a fun trip up north or just hanging out. that's why you should stay close to your friends. that's what i think this quote is saying to me.
This is saying that you are better off to protect yourself with something that won't break down to easy. A fence is only good to keep people out and and stand up for you against everything. At times you want people to be around you to help. Friends won't block everything out. Friends protect you from everything you don't want in your life and let the good stuff in. Fences just block everything out. Basically you should protect yourself that will protect you from what's bad not everything that comes your way.
This quote is saying that you need to be open and have lots of friends. You shouldn't put a fence around you or your house to protect yourself. You need to be free and happy!
This Czech Proverb to me is saying many things. Firstly, it is saying to not to put up a fence to other people and block them out. Instead, one should be open and optimistic to meeting new people and making new friends. Or simply it could be saying to put the "water line" down and open up to the friends you might have right now. The people you choose to surround yourself around is as important as some other huge life decisions. Like another quote I love, from the Bible, "Bad company currupts good character." True good friends who are really there for you honestly no matter what, I believe, are one of a kind and hard to find. Which is why once you have found one it is important to be a good friend back. To me, friends are essential.
Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends. Czech Proverb
This is saying to always be close to your friends. Don't try to put up a fence and try to hide from people. Don't be afraid to try and make friends. If you put up a fence that is another way for saying that you are shy. If you are shy, it is hard to make a lot of friends. A fence is only going to keep people out. Try to have close friends so you can have some people you can count on.
Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends.
I believe this quote means that you shouldnt protect yourself but by your buddies. They will be there for you. The fence is just an object. Your friends mean more than just a fence. They help you, you help them vice versa. Also i think it means that a fence can be taken apart, your friends are stronger than that. Your friends mean more to you then a fence. You would probally trust your friends over a fence.
This quote says that your friends are special. there is no need to put up a barriar around yourself. your friends are the best things to happen to you so dont ruin it. friendship is more important that what you try to hide. Also you can trust your friends. they are not there to ruin your life, but to help make it more interesting.
What I think the quote is trying to say is that a fence is for keeping people out of some thing. So I think that friends can support you unlike a fence. And your friends will be there to back u up. Friends are people that will always be there for you. If u ever need help u could call your friends to help you. So I think the quote is trying to say that fences don't allways last forever but friends do. Friends will always be there for u.
I believe this quote reflects that you should protect your friendships throughout life. This statement is true because in life you always want to stay close to your friends. Also it reflects that you shouldnt stay behind but you should go forward.
Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends. Czech Proverb
the quote says do not protect yourself by putting up a wall, but by making friends. this means walls are for keeping things out, but if you let people in, you will become better protected. making friends is benefcial to keeping them out. it goes along with the security in numbers concept. the more favor you have with others, the less displeasure you will cause. and attacking things in groups has been a good technique for getting conflicts over.
I think the quote "Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends" means that don’t keep things from your friends and they will help you out. If you keep things to yourself then when the time comes your friends might not be there for you. Stand up to someone that is making fun of your friend and one day they will protect you. Your friends and family probably know you the best and would do anything for you. But if you hide things from them they cant help or you just might start to lose them. It’s also good to stay close to your family no matter what your family will always be your family. So stay true to everyone around you and mostly everyone will stay true to you.
"Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends." Czech Proverb
I think this quote is trying to say that you need to always stay true to the people that mean the most to you in your life and not try and find other obstacles to go through to get out of troubles. Because as many other things you put in your life to void problemns going on, there always going to be the ones that are staying strong right by your side. Whether you see it or not in them at the moments, the true friends are always gonna be there. I think it's saying that as much as we sometimes don't believe that our friends have our backs because of some of the things they do to us, they will always be there to protect us when we need them most. Once you realize that in life, that true friends are the ones that got your back through thick and thin, no matter how many things are thrown at you, then you are set. Because friends are your strongest support and also kind of like your fence, protecting you from troubles, and always stadning there strong!
I believe this quote is saying that you should always stick with your friends no matter what. Your true friends will always stand up for you. You should'nt have to rely on anything else when your in trouble but simply your friends. They will never judge you or turn on you. That's what really matters. Things like a fence is just an object and dont mean much. When you have people on your side that care about you and are standing by your side then you wont have to worry about anything.
"Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends." Czech Proverb.
The quote seems pretty self-explanatory. A (metaphorical) fence won't grant you much protection. Though it may offer privacy, the level of protection it offers is minimal. Instead, use your friends - the ones that don't turn on you given the chance - as a wall of support. In doing this, you won't suffer being alone nor poor protection, favors, happiness, and other such thing that friends can offer. I don't honestly understand just why a being would intentionally distance themselves from the world by use of this 'fence'; it seems an obnoxious thing to do. Also, one may substitute the word 'protect' for nearly any verb, and the quote would retain it's meaning.
