Today we continued our discussion on fate, ambition, guilt and integrity. While you all may not know that I have not led the most honest life, at time, at least I have learned from my experiences. As someone stated today, ambition can dove tail with guilt and integrity.
As a person, describe yourself within the framework of integrity. What does it mean to you? Do you choose to live a life of integrity? Why or why not? How? How important is integrity to you within your friends and/or family? Lastly, give me an example of a time you think you have shown great integrity and a time you have not.

Integrity is everything. It means alot to me because it shows the people i love and that are around me that i am trustworthy. For the most part i like to live a life of integrity because thats how ive been raised. My parents expect the most out of me with everything but when it comes to having integrity and being a good person they want me to be the "perfect person" to others and myself. But i can't. No one is perfect but people are almost perfect and thats what i try to stride to be. Even though i try to have as much integrity for myself, there are times where it is impossible. Freshmen year i disappointed myself grade wise and if i dissapointed myself it would have been disastorous if my parents saw my report card. So when i got home, i got the mail like usual but the time my report card came i just threw it away because i didnt want anyone to see it. When i think about it, i had no integrity for myself and thats embaressing because i was raised to have the most in myself.

To me, having integrity is keeping the truth in what you say and do. Having integrity is staying to your word, and telling the truth. I live a life of integrity because I want to be trusted. I want people to be able to count on me for what I say I am going to do. I do not want my truthfulness to be questioned; I want to know that people count on me. I think that integrity is very important with my friends and my family. Your friends and family are the people you trust the most, so if that trust is lost, then it is hard to maintain that relationship. A time I have shown integrity was when a few friends I was with were stealing from the stores we went into, and I chose not to. I didn't feel like taking something insignificant to me was worth getting in trouble for. However, I think that I could have had more integrity if I would have convinced my friends to do the same. A time I lost my integrity was when I got caught in a big lie by my parents. I had to continue to keep covering up the lie, so by the time I got caught my parents had lost a lot of faith in me. Their disappointment was enough for me to stop lying to my parents, because they probably would have been understanding of the situation in the first place. It took a long time for them to trust me again, and I know now that integrity is easily lost, but it is not as easy to earn your trust from others back.
im honest with people im close to because i want them to trust me u kno wen there in trouble i want my freinds to come to me and talk about it. i want to help them and it feels good to know im trusted and depended on.lying is stupid and i only do it if i have to alot of people say that but seriosly i was raised to not be a liar and let me tell you if you tell a big lie then you have to keep covering it up, watch the stepfather ull see what im talking about
To me, i chose to live a life of integrity, but sometimes my choices dont always revolve around my integrity. When somebody calls my little brother a name, or make fun of him, or if one of my friends being messed with, i dont care what i look like or what people think, i'll stand up for them. My parents expect me to live up to my fullest, but sometimes i can screw up. It's sometimes hard to keep your integrity when others around you dont seem to careabout there own. I chose to live a life with integrity because it shows who you are and that you aren't going to let certain things break you or make you do something you know you shouldnt.
To me, integrity mean having morals and choosing to live ny them. An example of showing integrity is having a good reputation. I think integrity is a really important thing to have. I am trying to live a life of integrity but I'm a teenager and make mistakes. Generally, I have a higher integrity around my family and church people than with my friends. My family expects me to be perfect and I have high standards to live up to. Around my friends, I can let loose and have fun and do something stupid. I'm not doing anything I will regret, but just living life to the fullest and having fun. One time I have shown integrity is when I was peer pressured into doing something I knew was wrong and I decided not to do it. A time when I have shown bad integrity is when I have a feeling that what I'm about to do is wrong and I rationalize it so I do it anyway. I think the good thing is that I am able to learn from my mistakes. No one is perfect but before you are old and wise, you have to be young and reckless first. I hope to have integrity when doing this and make good choices in my life.
I think that having integrity is being truthfull not only to other people but to yourself as well. I try to live my life with integrity. Sometimes i lose my way adn dont show integrity but i try my best. I have integrity because i would like people to trust me. Integrity is a very important thing with my friends and family. I want my friends to trust me as well as my parents. An example when i have shown integrity was when i told the truth to my friend about something. A time i didnt show integrety was when i lied to my friend about why i couldnt come over one time or lying to my parents about something.

To me integrity is when you follow your own moral values or principles. Yes, I choose to live a life of integrity. I do this because I think its important to set boundaries for yourself and to follow your own rules in life. For example, I do not drink or smoke because I find it harmful and it is against my morals. Integrity is very important within my family and friends. I don't want my parents to be dissapointed in me because I went against my family morals. A time a have shown integrity was when I chose to stay home and study instead of hanging out with my friends. I think that getting homework done before hanging out with friends in really important. I was tempted to just forget about my homework and just hang out with my friends, but I knew I would have felt guilty if I did that, so I just did my homework instead. A time where I did not show integrity was when I cheated on a test in 6th grade. I think that cheating is wrong, and that one should just try their best on a test. I did not show integrity because I cheated on my test and afterwards I felt guilty about it. It is very important to live a life of integrity.

To me, integrity means adherence to moral principle or being honest. I think i have a lot of integrity. I think its always better to be honest and tell the truth, because lying can get you into serious trouble, and i know from experience. Lying doesnt make a situation better, it just makes it worse. I think having integrity is a great quality to have. I want to be trusted by people, and always keep my word. I keep my integrity because everything i say im going to do, i do and etc. I think integrtiy is very important when it comes to my friends and family. I want them to trust me, and i dont want to be known as a lyer. A time when i showed great integrity is when i was at my friends house. We were hanging out, until another one of my friends calls and wants to hang out. I declined because i didnt want to ditch my other friend. This was showing great integrity because i was being honest and loyal to my friend. A time when i had bad integrity is when my friend invited me to the movies but i said i couldnt go because i didnt have a ride, when i really did. So of course i show up to the movies with a different friend, and she was there. So she didnt talk to me for awhile and still to this day thinks im a lyer.
Integrity means a lot to me. Both within myself and the people i choose to be around. I like to surround myself with friends i know i can trust and wont lie or back stab me. This is why i often seem like a dick when most people first meet me. I like to get to know them and make sure i can trust them. I see myself for the most part as a person with a lot of integrity. I am very straight up with people and if i don't like someone i am straight up with them. I think that integrity can also tie in with the theme of Guilt. If you feel guilty about something and you come forward with it and tell them what happened you are showing integrity so you don't later feel guilty. For example i was once playing hide and seek inside my house and accidently broke one of my mothers favorite picture frames, I was scared at first o tell her what i had done but i finally built of the courage to tell her. She was upset about it at first but she respected the fact that i old her instead of hiding it. A time where i failed to show integrity was when we were playing baseball at my friend Austin's house. I went up to the plate and drilled a rope right down the 3rd base line, It bounced of the road and hit the neighbors brand new car. I was shocked i stopped running the bases and we all immediately booked it into the house and took cover in the basement. Now that i think about it I should have told the man about what i had done but i cowarded out to stay out of trouble.

Integrity, to me means how strong someone is mentally. It means a lot to me, and i do chose to have a life of integrity. I want a life of integrity because if i didnt i wouldnt be confident, and it would be much harder to make it through the day. Integrity with friends and family is VERY important because its what makes up the friendship and what helps keep the relationship together, family and friend wise. An example of a time when i think ive shown great integrity, is when my grandma died. I think that i showed great integrity when this happened because i didnt lose it when i got the news, granted i did get upset, but i didnt completely lose it. When something like that happens, if people completely lose it, they cause others to because the initial person isnt being strong.
To me, integrity means staying who you are and staying behind you word no matter who you encounter. It is where you aren't wishy washy on a topic if you say one thing, and it's where you act the same around everyone, regardless if they like you or not. If you have integrity, so do not change who you are when you are around different people. For the most, part, I try to live a life of integrity. I think it reflects good personality when people stay true to themselves, so that is what I try to do. With my family, it is very important because my parents want me to be the best I can be and stay true to my word. They want me to be myslef in any situation, and I agree, because I want to have the strength to do this. An example of when I have shown great integrity is everyday when I act the same around everyone I meet. OBviously I might be more shy around certain people, but I never try to be someone that I'm not. An example when I did't gave integity was when I lied to my parents about someone's house I was going to. I knew they wouldn't approve, so I lied and afterward I felt guilty. I didn't show integrity because I never stayed true to myself. However, overall, I life a life of integrity I think.
Integrity isn't something i really think about, but i guess it's always been there. integrity to me, really just applies to honesty. which i, for the most part, am. you cant trust someone if they're dishonest, and its hard to have a relationship with someone when there are lies involved. I'm speaking in terms of little white lies so you don't hurt a persons feelings. besides honesty i don't really know what integrity is defined as. yes its following you morals, and ethics, but my morals are dependable on the situation that presents itself. so if my morals depend on situations, do they constitute as morals? i guess a moral of mine is to be nice, but if someone is rude to me, my moral may change. so integrity isn't something i value you very much, i value doing the right thing at the right time. i don't think that makes me a bad person, just a person that can be open to different things. i don't have two clear examples of having integrity or not, but i know right from wrong. yes it was wrong of me to steal money from my parents but it was right of me to confess to it.
Integrity to me means taking responsibility for one's morals or actions. If i could i would give everybody this quality. It shows the true person within you with honesty. I believe integrity makes people better, meaning it makes people look deep down and asks themselves is this wrong or is this right. Im all about living a life of integrity. I like choosing the right decisions over the wrong because i know it makes me a better person in the long run. You should always stay true to yourselves and be the better person. Integrity is very important within my friends and family. Its important to me because it makes me trust them more. If my friends didn't have it then there not my true friends. One good example that i showed integrity was when i was about to steal. I told myself right from the start that it was not looking good for me if i did. It made me think but i made the right decision. One bad example is of course lying to my parents when in fact it turned out bad and i was just digging myself in deeper.
Integrity to me has a lot to do with pride. For me to have integrity, I have to put in the work that I think is up to a quality standard. I try to lead a life of integrity, although I dont put in enough effort in some of the things I should. I think its due to being lazy because I find that the task is not that important. Some of my friends have integrity, some dont. The one who have integrity are committed and work hard. Within my family, there are sign of integrity. My parents show pride and expect me to do the same. A time when i have displayed great integrity was last year when I told myself I have to do better. I stayed after school often and recieved the help I needed and in return, I got the results I was looking for. A time when I lacked integrity was when I observed someones actions that shouldnt have taken place. Instaed of telling him what he was doing was wrong, I didnt think anything of it until it was too late.

Integrity to me means doing the right thing. In my life I try to live close to integrity. I say this because I know there are/have been times where I didn't/don't choose the right thing. I try to lie as little as possible and I only do it when I think it's absolutely necessary. Integrity is extremely important to me, if I do something wrong, and I know I did, then I beat myself up over it because of all the guilt. A time that I have shown integrity would be when my friend got punched in the face and I stood up for him. A time where I didn't show integrity would be when a friend of mine was being made fun of and I didn't do anything. I didn't stand up for him or anything.

To me having integrity is having honor in what you do. I strive to live a life of integrity. Having pride in honor in what I do is important to me. Anything that I do I try to feel proud of myself of the outcome. My parents in particular expect a lot out of me. This drives me to have integrity. I honor my parents and want them to be proud of me. The same goes to my friends. I want my friends to think that I am an honorable and respectful person. If I don't think someone is respectful or honorable, they aren't my friend. A time I have shown integrity is attempting to achieve the best grades I can. A time I have not had integrity was when I had to compete in a piano competition. My mom forces me to do piano. I hate it (only because I play classical stuff ALL THE TIME). We had to compete in a competition called guild. You are required to memorize four pieces and the scales that go with them. I only memorized two. I scored very poorly in the competition and my mom was disappointed in me. I have learned to just stick it out and do what my mother says so I don't have to live with her disappointment.

Integrity, to me is how you choose to live your own life. I live by a code of conduct that allows me to be true to myself. Bottom line, I have to be able to live with the choices I make. In most cases I live my life by integrity; I know the difference between right and wrong and usually make a decision I can live with. Integrity to me is living and following the moral values that you have set for yourself. Integrity is important to me, my family and friends- I chose to surround myself with people that have the same values as I. My friends and family expect a lot from me and I don't want to disappoint them. A time when I showed good integrity is when I turned in a wallet that I found; A time when I showed bad integrity was when I lied to my parents about where I was going. I knew that my parents wouldn't approve of where I was going and made a poor choice to go there and then Lie about it. When you do something you know is wrong you feel guility with yourself for not living up to your own expectations.
I think integrity means a lot to me. Though i lie here and there, i'm always a trust worthy person. i'm not usually the one to go and tell someones secret. Sometimes i want to, but i think trust is the most important thing. If you have a friend who isn't trustworthy then you really cant tell them anything without it possibly getting around to someone. And i really don't think thats a friend at all. Also, if your parents don't trust you then you will have less freedom and they will have less respect for you. I think i show integrity when i dont follow others. i see a lot of my friends doing something because one persons doing it and not suffering, so they in turn think they won't suffer either, when really they are. a time i could have shown more integrity was when i was doing a certain thing for a while, my mother had been talking and talking and talking to me about, telling me to tell her if i was. But instead i decided to keep my mouth shut because i didn't think it was a big deal. that "small" thing later turned into to a hugee thing and i had to tell my parents. i feel like they lost a lot of trust in me, but i defintely think it was a life lesson.
Integrity is what some people have and what a lot of people in todays world lack. Integrity to me means the way that people uphold their morals and honesty. It means sticking to your word no matter what others think of you. I try to live a life of integrity but at times i fail. I try to be honest to the people I care about and a lot of the time I am. Sometimes I cover little things up by lying, but only to make things go smoother. Integrity is very important in my family. My dad always told me that he doesnt care what I do, like if I did something bad, he just wants to know the truth. one of the times when I showed integrity was last year in school. One of my friends got answers to a test and asked me if I wanted them. I didnt feel right taking them and besides, I already knew the material pretty good anyways. A time when I lacked integrity was during the superbowl last month. We had a little party and some family friends came over. They had 3 kids and they wanted to play tag. While we were running around in the house i knocked over a lamp. I told my mom that it wasnt me. I told her that the baby hit the table and knocked it over and she bought it. I felt kind of bad blaming it on an innocent child who couldnt even talk.

Integrity is having your own morals, believing in them, and choosing your morals as your own lifestyle. I chose to live a life of integrity, because I want people to be able to count, depend, and most importantly trust me. Integrity is very important to me with my friends and family. How it's important with my family is because, I want them to be able to trust me and be able to let me go out and have faith in me that I'll make the right decisions. One of the major things that parents lose in their kids is their trust, because the kids give the parents so many reasons for them not to trust them. However, I give my parents lots of reasons for them to trust me, and this is done by having integrity. Also, it's very important that my friends have integrity in me, as well as me having integrity in them. I want my friends to be able to talk to me about anything and them feel comfortable that what they are sharing with me is going to be just between us. Having integrity in each other whether it's family or friends, this is how you form relationships and this is how you bond with one another. Being able to share secrets, stories, and facts with each other is something that's not worth losing. A time when I showed good integrity is when I was on my both my cruises. The one two summers ago, I was walking around the ship and this guy asked me if he wanted to buy me a drink, and I politely turned him down and kept on walking. another time is when I was on my past cruise, over last year's spring break, I was again crusing the ship and this group of guys came up to me and started tell me I was pretty, trying to flatter me. Shortly after, they asked me to come join their party in their room. I just said "No thanks" and walked away, and when I walked away I could hear their whispers as to why I turned them down. I knew in both of these situations that it would of ended badly and I'm a lot smarter than those boys thought. I know right from wrong and that was clearly wrong. A time where I have shown bad integrity is when one of my friends asked me to hang out, but I really didn't want to. So I told her my parents said no and that I had to stay home. However, when another friend of mine asked me to get together I accepted. Unfortunately, when my two friends were talking, the one realized I ditched her for the other friend and she got her feelings hurt. I apologized greatly and luckily she accepted. I now know not to lie to a friend then ditch them. I feel very bad about hurting her.

Integrity to me means a lot. It comes from other people and how they view you. But not everyone is going to have the same opinion as others. Some may think you have integrity and the ones who don't probably don't know you that well. I want to live an integrity life, and I hope other people don't see me as the opposite. I try to be a very honest person. I think integrity is also very important with family and friends. They are the people who you are suppose to trust the most, and the ones who will always have your back. That means you have to trust them. Times that I have integrity is choosing not to cheat on tests because I cant study for them. So if I do bad its because I wasn't doing what I was suppose. A time I didn't have is lieing to my parents over things I'm really suppose to do.
As a person, describe yourself within the framework of integrity. What does it mean to you? Do you choose to live a life of integrity? Why or why not? How? How important is integrity to you within your friends and/or family? Lastly, give me an example of a time you think you have shown great integrity and a time you have not.
I think that integrity doesn't mean as much to me as it should. I always think of doing the right thing and making good choices. However getting older and doing more
mischevious things takes away from this. This doesn't mean drugs and alcohol either, but just having fun, at some expense. I hang out with a tight knit and well behaved group of friends. Integrity isn't something we talk about, but we all demonstrate it at times. This goes back to the way we were raised. An example of a time we showed integrity was when were were traveling to baseball. We
stopped at a dunkin doughnuts. In the bathroom a man dropped a hundred dollar bill. Instead of keeping it we gave it to the cashier and said that if the man didn't come back
by the time our practice was over we would take the money. Unfortunately the man came back and took the money for his own. A time when we didn't show much integrity was when we were reminisching in the subdivision across from mine. We gathered all the stakes to show the plow where they we going and put them in one persons yard. When we got caught by a neighbor we lied and said it wasn't us. This didn't show much integrity. However it was very funny seeing 200 stakes in one yard.

Integrity to me means honesty to people and good moral character. I choose to live a life of integrity. If I chose to do what I want, not caring of the consequences I would not have a life of integrity. It would lead me to do anything to get by to the next day of my life. I think that integrity is very important in my friends and family because it would let me have people that I can trust. Integrity with my friends makes me a good person because I would be hanging in the right crowd. A time that I have shown great integrity is when I was told a secret, by a friend, which was only told to a few people. I still have not told anyone to this day. An example of lack of integrity is when I lied to my mom about how much I have done on a project and she found out that I needed a lot of help.
Overall, I am a person who lives a life of integrity. Intergrity means a lot to me. I do not believe in stealing and going behind people's backs. i feel too guilty if I do anything like that. I chose to live this life because that is the way I have been taught. Integrity means a great deal to my family. For my friends, it means a lot. However, one of my old friends used to steal from stores and lie a great amount of the time. I was really against this and I am so relieved it never rubbed off on me. When I was at the Tiger's game last year, a man sitting in front of me dropped 20 dollars out of his back pocket. I n ever thought to snatch it, instead I tapped on his shoulder and handed it to him. He thought it was so chivilous of me that he gave me the money to keep. I did not show great integrity when I lied to my parents about my where abouts several times last summer. I wasn't doing anything bad but I lied because I was worried that my parents would ask me a bazillion questions that I had no time for answering.
Integrity is keeping your own moral values and applying them to your life. It means having pride in yourself, and respecting yourself as a person. Integrity also has to do with how you treat other people, and it should be with the same respect you give yourself. I try to live my life with integrity but sometimes it gets really hard. Everyone makes mistakes. Its hard to remain who you think you are when situations cause yourself to question your very being, your thoughts and opinions. I guess thats a part of growing up; learning who you are and who you aren't. Integrity is very important to my family and myself. We strive to be the best we can and to live by what we think is morally right. Integrity is based around what you think is important in life, at least it is for me. I can not say there are many times where I have shown great integrity but I do not lie to my parents. After going through a massive.... personal crisis a little while ago, I learned that you have to be honest with people. When it comes to how you feel or what you have done, I don't see a point in lying about anything. I think haveing integrity is almost like being perfect, or sound in mind. Its hard to explain but I think it is like having peace with yourself and everyone around. Its being the person you want to be. Basicly, when I think of integrity I think of trust, honor, respect, honesty, and love. Those are the characteristcs of it.

Integrity to me means that you respect yourself. It's when you follow your morals and values. You do what makes yourself feel proud of what you've done. I do choose to live in integrity. I do this by following my belief, morals, and values. I don't do anything that I know I will regret and be ashamed of. Integrity is very important within my family. I don't want to disappoint my family or embarrass them. With my friends I don't want to just "fit in". I don't care as much as what they think as long as I'm doing what's good for me. I will care about the imput they have though. I want them to respect me. I think a time I showed great integrity is when all my friends were doing something that I knew I really shouldn't and didn't want to do and I just walked away. A time when I didn't is when I disappointed my parents by an action I'm still ashamed of.

In my opinion, Inegrity is taking responsibility for your actions. With this defenition, I would say that I do have integrity. When I make a mistake, I am not afraid to admit it. Personally, integrity is huge for me. I dont care if you make a mistake. Hell, I dont even care if you arent sorry for it. All I want is for you to admit that you made it. Take responsibility for your actions. I believe that I showed integrity last night. My friend and I got in a fight, and I called them later and apologized for what I did wrong. I took responsibility for my fault. A time I havent is probably in one of the many arguements I had with my mother.
To me, integrity is keeping the truth in what you say and or do. It means alot to me because it shows those around me that I am honest and very trustworthy. I think that for the most part I live a life with integrity because I do what I am told and I dont run my mouth every chance I get. I believe that I live a life with integrity because I am an honest person and people seen trust me a lot. I don't lie to cover up things I lie to keep people from getting hurt. Integrity is very important in a friendship because you want to ensure trust in your group and make sure know one goes and spreads secrets that weren't supposed to leave the group. A time where I think I showed integrity was when I busted out a window in my nieghbors car with my BB gun. I didn't think that the little BB would shatter a car window, but it did and I had to face them and tell them the truth about what I did. I am actuslly very glad I told the truth because even though they were angry they didn't make me pay for the damages I had done to their new car. A time where I did not show integrity was when I stole $20.00 from my sister and kept denying over and over everytime she asked me. She eventually found out I stole it and I got into trouble and I was grounded for the night, it sucked.

To me integrity is who you are when nobody is looking. Like, whether or not you still do the right thing when no one is lookng. I always try to live a life of integrity. Even when no one is looking i still want and try to do the right thing. To me integrity is really important to me within my family. I always want to be able to trust my friends and family. A time when i have shown great integrity is when I stood up to these girls who were trying to tak me into doing something i knew i never wanted to do. A time i have not shown inegrity is when i was hanging out with my friends and i would start to act like them instead of standing up for who i am.
Integrity is the blocks on which we build ou lives and who we are. Integrity is how well people see you and how you see yourself. Integrity is the measurement of how good or bad you have lived your life. I try to live a life of good inegrity, but at times I fall. Integrity is basically everything to everyone I know. One time I showed great integrity is me giving someone $20 they had dropped without noticing. And a time I showed awful integrity was when I was in elementary school i beat people up and threw rcks at people.
Intergrity is your character. I think that intergrity has a lot to do with peoples honesty. I believe that I do live a life of integrity because I am usually honest. I live a life of intreigty because t hat was how I was raised as a child. I think that integrity is very important when it comes to friends and family. Wihtout it you would have no one. Friends and family are everything that why integrity is everything. A time I didnt show integrity is when I told my my parents I was getting good grades when I really didnt, after them making me show my grades to them the lie didnt last.
Jake
Integrity is a very hard thing to actually put into words. To me, it means not lying to yourself basically. I try to live my life of integrity. I think everyone tries to live their life by integrity, but that isnt always the way it goes. Living by integrity is being true to yourself, to your word, so why wouldnt you want to do it. It is an admirable trait i think. Integrity within my friends and family is very important to me. If someone has integrity, then they are most likely trustworthy. A time when I think I showed integrity was when I told my parents I would pay them back 500 dollars and I worked very hard staying true to my word and paying them back all of it. A time when i think that I didnt show integrity was when I lied to my parents...about anything really. Thats not showing very much integrity.
Integrity is alot of different things. It means alot to me because it shows the people i am around that i can be trustworthy. Having integrity sticking to what you say. also by telling the truth. I live a life of integrity because all I want is to be trusted. I want people to be able to count on me and believe in me for what I say I am going to do. Because i will actully do it. I do not want my friends or peers to think i dont care. A time when i showed intergety was when i had to choice between doing my homework or going and hanging out with my friends. I chose to say at home and get all my work done and study for a test i was ging to have that next day. I think that getting my school work done is a better choice than haning out with me firends.
I believe that integrity means to be honest, fair, and not to do "what is wrong." I believe that I live a life of integrity. While some people may choose not to believe it; I choose not to cheat. If this means that I come in with my homework half done, well then, so be it. I made a mistake. I am not going to make it up by copying someone else's paper. What is the point? What would I learn by cheating? Probably not much. I may however race to do the assignment 5 minutes before it's due (and yes, I've done that before). Integrity plays a large roll in how I choose my friends and how I see my family. I believe that I showed great integrity when I was in class one day last year, and I had forgotten about the assigned homework. Someone offered me their paper to copy answers from, but I decided that I did not want to copy their answers. I did get a pretty strange look from the individual though. A time that I showed less integrity would probably be when, in the 7th grade, I hit (took a swing at) another student that was really getting on my nerves. Luckily, I had a weak pair of arms and less than ideal "eye-arm coordination," or I would have actually hurt the student (and would have had a slight blotch on my record).
Integrity is being true to your self. Having pride in what you do. I do choose to live a life of integrity. I say this because I like to stick to what I say, and have pride in myself. I hate knowing the fact that I let myself down. So i try not to do so. Its important to my family and friends because there expecting me not to lie, or go behind there back and hurt them. Although I may lie here and there. A time that I showed integrity would be when i got a B on my history final. I studied hard and believed in my slef, and look where it got me. A time that I havent shown it would be when I let my grades drop, dramaticly. I let myself down ):
Integrity to me is having pride, and honor in what you do. I think I have a lot of integrity. Yes, i make mistakes and I lie but no I am not proud of it. You can tell a lot about people and their integrity by their actions. I think I chose to live a life with integrity. Occasionally I fond my self questioning my integrity, but then after I do that I am able to get back on track. My family has a lot of integrity and I think growing up with four brothers, and two sisters, and very nice parents I have achieved a lot as far as integrity. A time in my life when I have showed integrity was when instead of going out with my friends, I stayed home with my mom because my dad was in Florida. I think this is integrity because I didn't have to stay how, but i wanted to because my mom is very important to me. A time when I didn't show integrity was when I lied to my parents about where I was going. I felt terrible about it, and from then on I have been very honest with my parents. Integrity is your character, it's who you are and thats very important.

I think that integrity is doing good even when people arent around. I think it means to me that you just are a good alll round person. I think i choose to live a life of integrity most of the time. I think that nobody is perfect though. I think integrity is important to my firends because they would think it was shitty if i lied to them and my mom just wants to trust me. I think a time when i showed good integrity was when ive told you when youve given me too many points on a certain assignment. I think a time when i have no integrtity is when i lie tomy parents about what i am doing. I felt really bad about doing it.

Integrity means everything to me. I base my life on telling the truth to people. If i don't then i just end up feeling guilty. I choose to live my life with integrity because it means i am just a much better person than someone who lies all the time to people they care about. Integrity is the most important thing to me within my friends and family. One time that i showed great integrity is when i tried to cheat on my drafting final by saving my files then downloading them. A time i showed integrity was that same time when i didn't do it and i asked the teacher if i could come in after school and retake it. Trust means the world to people and if you don't have it, you don't have anything.

Mr. Kay, I will not be at school tomorrow, I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Just a heads up in case I miss anything.

Integrity to me is being a trustworthy and honorable person who upholds their moral views the best they can at all times. I choose to live a life on the edge of both sides. I don't do it on purpose but I catch myself teetering side to side and occasionally falling mostly to one side. A good example of that is today during seminar. I'll leave you to expand on that if you want.
A time of great integrity was when I got into my first car crash. Instead of doing what typical teens of my age do when they get in a crash; I did not panic and flee the scene. I got out of my car, inspected the damage, then, I went to the persons house. I obliterated their yard and I felt terrible. They had literally just put the finishing touches on their garden and I destroyed it with my car. I went to the couples house, explained to them what had happened and I offered to pay for the damage. They seemed shocked at how someone my age acted in such a mature manner. They assessed the damage and let me know. I payed them the $200 dollars and we went our separate ways.
An example of a time when I did not show integrity was freshman year. My last report card of the year was coming in the mail. I was ashamed of how I had done that last semester. What did I do? I checked the mail everyday for 3 weeks until it came. When it did I opened it up, looked at it, then proceeded to throw it in the drainage pit after tearing it up. I felt guilt afterward but eventually my parents discovered the wonderful program known as Skyward and I got in huge trouble. I learned a valuable lesson on Karma that day.
To me integrity means doing what you should for yourself. I think it means doing what your supposed to when no ones watching or theres no reward behind it. I do try to live a life or integrity, but only to a certain point. I know its not always right but i do push myself harder when theres a reward behind it or people are watching me, so i dont let anyone down. Withmy friends and family integrity is very important to me. I alays do things to certain standards so i dont let my friends or family down but also because they are a huge impact in my life so it is important to me that they can trust me. A time i showed good integrity is when my grandma was very sick i was with her bymyself and we thought she just had the flu. She got worse and began shaking and not making sense. I took it upon myself and took her to the emergency room, turned out she had meningitis and i actually saved her life. Although no one was there and there was no reward i still wanted to do the right thing. A time when i did not use integrity was when i made a mistake and did not own up to it. I lied and tried to my parents to get my way. Having integrity means doing whats right no matter the situation.
To me integrity means being a good and honest person. Just trying your best and knowing you gave something your all is another way I look at it. I try my best everyday to have integrity and for the most part I think I do have integrity. No one is perfect and I have made my share of mistakes, but like you said as long as you learn from those mistakes. I help people if they need it, I dont cheat on tests and I follow through on things I say I am going to do, are all ways I show integrity everyday. Integirty within my friends and family is very important. I dont want someone in my life that is going to flake out on me when I need them or just use me to get something, I feel like all my close friends have integrity and if they didnt i dont think i would be as good of friends with them. A time that I didnt show integrity was when I lied to my parents about something really bad that I did. My mom confronted me about it and i denied it over and over again. Even though I ended up confessing to it because she knew all along that I did do it, I should have just had the integrity in the first place to admit to what I had done.

Well to me i think integrity means like a moral standard. For example if i saw someone drop a one houndred dollar bill i wouldnt take it even though i wound't get caught i would still give it back to the person cuz it was the right thing to do. I think i do live my life with some integrity. I someone loses something and i find it i would give it back unlike my friend who i think took my wallet im not sure. Think i live my life like this becuase i am a kid and still have a lot of maturing to do sand will grow into a life with more integrity. I think integrity between friends is very important becuase i like to be able to trust my friends and trust that they wont steal something of mine even though i cant do anything about it. A time where i should great integrity was when i was at this gas station in howell. This one kid wanted me to steal some alcohal and i was like ok but then i thought it wasnt right so even underpeer pressure i thought i mad the better choice. A times where i dont show great integrity is when i go around the class room between passing time and take peoples pencils HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Integrity to me means truth. I believe I have integrity. I would like my family and friends to see me as being trustworthy. So, yes I choose to live a life of integrity because I don't want to be called dishonorable or a liar. Integrity within family or friends is very important to me. I expect them to be trustworthy and reliable, otherwise you can count on them when you need help. A time I showed integrity was when I saw someone drop money and instead of keeping it I gave it back to them. A time when I have shown no integrity was when I either lied to a family member or friend.
To me integrity is one of the most important character traits people can have. I try to live my life with as much integrity as possible. I belive that integrity is important because it really shows what kind of person you are. It shows the differance between a stand up person and someone who lacks integrity. Also integrity shows what kind of moral principles you have. A time when I showed integrity was when I was at work and some guy asked me if this certain type of oil would work in the lower unit of his boat motor. I knew that the oil he had in his hand was not the correct type to use and we didn't sell the kind that was acceptable for a boat motor. I told him not to use that kind we sold and to go to Autozone to by it. This meant losing a money where I work but making sure the guy didn't detroy his boat motor. He was new to the boat motor world and I could have took advantage of the situation and sold him crap or told him were to buy the good oil at. My boss gave me a talking to about dicouraging the sale. I still to his day felt that I made to right decision. A week after this happen the same guy that I helped out with taking propre care of his boat motor came back to where I worked and thanked me so much for all of my help.
Integrity is a very important key in my life. It is a standard that I live up to daily. Integrity to me, means that you do the right thing, even when no one is looking. I do choose to live a life of integrity because otherwise I wouldn't feel right about myself. I was raised and I know the difference between right and wrong. If I don't follow with what I am supposed to be doing, I get a horrible feeling of guilt. Integrity with my friends and family is very important. I don't like to surround myself with people that I can't trust or don't have morals that they know they should have. A time I have shown integrity was when I knew I had to be to school because I had to present something with a group. Having a person missing would have ruined the entire skit. I wasn't feeling good and I was considering staying home. I ended up dragging myself to school so that everyone else didn't get a bad grade. A time when I didnt show integrity was when I knew I had to be to work, but I didn't feel like going. So I called in sick when I wasn't.
my computer wasn't working the past two days :(
integrity means a lot to me. it means keeping your word. and not backing out. this is important. its hard to be truthfully all the time and dont think anyone really lives the life of integrity. i think that because no one can go tho life and not mess up and lie once or twice or back down from something they say their going to do. i have lied before to get out of trouble or hide something. its important within friends and family because you need to be able to trust them and know they are going to do what they say.
Integrity to me means that you are being honest with what you have said or done. I do try to live me life with integrity. I would like to live a life with integrity because I want people to trust me and to also set an example for people to look up to. I always try to stick to my word by whatever means necessary. Integrity is very important when it comes to my family and friends. I wouldn't want to be friends with a person who doesn't have integrity because I would be a lot of unnecessary drama in my life. I also like for my family to have integrity as well. Your family is supposed to support you but you would be able to trust them to do that if they didn't have integrity. A time I have shown great integrity is when a couple of people I was with were making fun of one of my other friends and I stood up to them because talking about that people one time wasn't worth not having them as a friend anymore. A time when I have shown bad integrity is when I lied about where I was going to my parents and my car broke down on the way there and I have to have them come pick me up and it wasn't even near the place I was actually going. Needless to say I got in a lot of trouble.
I feel that integrity is a very important thing. I take honesty very seriously because I think that when you persent yourself well and to your highest potential that people will look at you in the best way. I take myself seriously and I try to make sure that I look and act myself so then I am honey with myself. So, I choose to live in the frame of integrity. When you are with your fAmily and friends I think that it is a time that you can truly act yourself no matter what you say or do. When you Round a person you just meet, you can be yourself but you can never truly be yourself becAuse you just meet them. A time thAt I should most integrity was when I helped plan And set up our family runion. I put so much time and effort in the event that when it cme to the event I felt so proud for achieveing a goal. A time that I haven't proved my integrity was when I blew off a famiy event and lied about being sick when I really hung out with freinds.
I most of the time run my life with integrity. This to me means a truthfull and honest, trusted life. I know that I am not perfect thus why I am saying most of the time. I like to be trusted plus it will give you more privleges in the long run. I value integrity in friends and family. I want to trust them just like I would hope they trust me. I have a great example of my integrity. My dad can trust me to run airsoft games every Friday night (6pm-midnight.) He hands me the keys and know I will lock up, be safe and not spend the profits of that night. This is a great showing of my integrity.
