I cannot believe that we lost to a group of inferiors like the Pouliot/Perry team. You people should be ashamed. A group of all star monkeys could have one. I think it was like David and Goliath and Goliath got cocky. For shame. I guess there is always next semester.
For this evening, discuss what you see as the pros and cons of being in the team setting after one semester. Give some positive and/or negative experiences you have had that might not have been the same if you were in a regular room. Also, if you have any advice or ideas of things we can do to better facilitate your learning in this setting please let me know as well.
Remember that part of this setting is on you and working to your potential but I will touch on that next semester.

There are many different pros and cons to being in a team taught class. A pro is that you have a little more flexabilty in the class. Sometimes Mr. Pouliot will give up his class time and give it to Kay and vice versa. What is also cool about being in a team taught class is that some days you might only have histoy and other days you might only have lit. Another pro is that the team class gets to play more games such as chalkboard football. A con to being in a team taught class is that maybe a student won't get as much one on one attention because there are a lot more kids in a team taught class than a regular class. A positive experience I have had in the team setting is that I seem to learn better. Chalkboard football helps me remember and review information for tests in history. In a regular room I don't think there would be enough room to play review games like chalkboard football. I don't have any advice or ideas, I think this team taught class is a really good class to have.

I think that there are a lot of benefits to having this setting, but also some things that suck. I think that its good because its like a college setting which prepares us I guess. Also, like becca said somedays there is flexibilty and we can always finish what we are doing in class. I think some of the negatives are that its harder to focus because there are so many kids. There is a lot going on in the room. Like I said a positive expirience is the fact that it is preparing me for college and I like that. Overall the class really helps. I dont really have any complaints on the class. ALso, one of the last things I like is how we switch up the hours. I think this helps shake things up and makes it less boring.

Good thing you spelt Won right Mr. Kay maybe you’re the monkey haha. Any how I truly enjoyed being in a team taught class this first semester. I felt it was more exciting to have two sides of the room competing for certain goals. The pros to being in a team taught class are there is more of a competitive nature or vibe throughout the room. Making us work harder to top another persons work. Some con's to being in a team taught class are you get less personal attention as opposed to a class of 30. Also there are more groups of friends to get others distracted. If I wasn't in this class I probably wouldn't have worked as hard to impress the teachers or over do other students. Since I was in this class I felt like the hazing from Mr. Kay was a little less because he had more students to pick on other than just the few he normal picks on, which was nice. A negative was I had many friends in the class that I got distracted with sometimes and couldn't focus or concentrate fully. I have no advice for this class because I feel it was a positive experience that will help me when I get to the collage level. I look forward to the 2nd semster in this same setting.

Personally, I really liked the team setting class. Some pros to it are that it is a bigger class and there is more people around to give input and to ask for help. Also, it makes class much more interesting. I like being able to switch it up sometimes and not have a set schedule of what were going to be doing because there's two hours to get it all done. The cons of being in a bigger class setting are more opportunities for distraction. But that really is our own faults because were the ones getting off task. I like being around more people and having more freedom because it's moving in the direction of college and the same setting. I don't have any suggestions about what can be done differently because I like what is being done now. Except I think the classes should be more together. I don't like how we are assigned by 2nd and 3rd hour because we are all one class and should be all together.
The team taught class setting has many pros. It shows us what it like to be in a college setting. The other thing that is different is that we have the oppurtunity to spend more than an hour on one of the subjects if needed. We also get to do more activities because there is more students in the class room. The only con that I think comes out of it is that some students may not understand the materail because there is so many more students in the room and they cannot focus. I think the team taught class is definately a good expierience to have.
After witnessing this semester of the team setting, i found many pros torward it as well as cons. Some pros in which took place during this team taught class was the fact that there was a lot more people that could help you with different work sheets or projects that you may not understand. Along with this is other examples such as being able to rely on more kids to maybe have a section in which you may be tested on. Though there were some pros i also some things i may not have liked about the class. One big thing that caught my eye and was a con, was the fact that with so many kids in the class, i kept feeling a sence of being left out meaning there were so many kids, it was hard for one teavher to be able to satisfy everyone at once. Things such as my grades are something i can not change based on the classroom scenery but it is based upon whether or not i choose to do it. Being a very social person, i caught did not feel with twice the amount of kids to be a very big help in slowing my interaction with others down much. Aside from everything, i did enjoy my first simester with these classes but would really like to see us keeping up with the designated wall up day. This would really benifit me in lowering my social skill so much.

Personally, I love being in a team taught class. Each class can be flexible to the other, and on some days you can have two hours of one class, like when we watched Band of Brothers in history. I also like having a lot of people in the class, because I'm used to only having a class of 20 or so. Having more people means more opinions and ideas, which makes the classes better. It's also interesting how history and lit connect on some of the topics. With the team taught class we can do things other classes cannot, like chalkboard football. The team taught class gives the teachers more opportunities for creativity. I think that the negatives of the class is that their is less attention given to each student, so if you're struggling it's hard to pick back up. Also, having 60 people can sometimes be really distracting. The only idea I have is mixing up the second and third hours, like other people have said. Besides that I have no complaints, except for that beginning comment.
There are many pro's and cons to being in the team setting. A pro is that we can watch a whole movie without having to continue it a different day. Also, I like that Mr. Poliout can have us write a paper on something and then have it be useful for our lit class. A con is that sometimes it can be hard to understand whats going on if theres distractions. Other than that I think its a great classroom setting. In the bigger room theres a better atmosphere. In other classes I'm ready to leave, but this class is fun so it doesn't seem to be that long.
I liked the team setting. A pro of it would be getting used to being in a larger classroom with more people. There is more flexibility as well. If one class period needs a little more time, then we get that time in the next hour or vise versa. I also really like the open environment. On tuesday the class rooms seem weirdl with the wall up. Another Pro would be the activities that we do, such as chalkboard football, in a big setting and more people. The cons with the team setting would have to be distractions. Also, sometimes people like more individual help on projects and assignments, which is hard to do in a class of 60. Overall, I really like teh team setting.
This semester was a blast. I love having the team taught class. It gives me a chance to experience new things. I think that one of the pros to having a team taught class is that you get to be with all of your friends. Another pro is that there are alot of projects, and i like projects better than just busy work. One of the cons is that sometimes you can't just have a one on one with the teacher. It is hard to talk to the teacher just the two of you during the class. Another con for the team class is that it is harder to pay attention because it is noiser due to the more peple in the class. to me, personally, I really enjoy the team taught class.

So far in my 1 semester in your team taught class i have found it to be much better than an ordinary class. Some of the pros is that just the setup is better. With the class opened like that and with so many people it is a great unique experience. Also with so many kids there is bound to be chaos but you and Mr.Pouliot seem to keep your head on your shoulders and calm all 60 of us down even after a game of chalkboard football. Speaking of which, its not my fault we lost, just saying. There is only one con that comes to mind with the team taught setting. Sometimes i dont think im getting enough personal attention because there are so many kids. No real advice is needed, just keep rockin.

The pros of being in a team setting are greater than the cons. The pros to me are it gets us used to a college class setting. The team setting also gives us students more freedom. It gives us the opportuinity to grow as individuals and to figure things out on our own. The only con I can think of is that you cant get individual help as often as you would in a regular class setting. Its hard to ask for help when their are a bunch of other kids asking for help too. I enjoy the class setting partly because I like everyone whose in it. Its cool to be around all your friends. I also like how both teachers alot time if needed for students to work on something in the other class.

It was definitely different being in a class of 60 people. A pro of being part of a team taught class is it gave me a good idea of how it is going to be in a college setting. Maybe, it won't be so overwhelming because I have had some experience of being part of a large setting. Another pro would be the flexibility of being able to use a two hour period when necessary. Ejoyed chalkboard football. Also, with more people you have more ideas being thrown around. A definite con was the distraction of being such a large class. A lot of commotion going on at times. Also, a con would be not as much individual attention. I can't think of any ideas at the time that would better facilitating our learning; we have to be accountable for what we chose to do and be accountable for what is expected of us. I really enjoyed being part of this team setting!
First off, at least we can spell. If you are wondering what I am talking about, check your spelling on the word WON, not one. Anyway, I think that there are several positives of being in a team taught class. For me, the biggest thing is having to deal with the idiots in normal classes, and reading out loud. I hate that. Especially reading out loud. That is the most boring thing in the world for me. With this class, most people are fairly intelligent. Its not like Mr. Pouliot has to pull teeth to get answers. When never really read aloud, which is also a big bonus. However, with a bigger class, it is much easier to get distarcted. Especially, when both of your teachers have ADD. However, that is the only negative I can really thik of.
Personally I don't really like the team setting. But their are many pros and cons to the setting. It's kind of like college class in a way, because their is a lot of people in the class. Their was so many lectures, especially from Mr. Pouliot. I don't learn good from lectures, which reflects my grade in that class. With the team setting you use language arts and history together, it is a good learning experience. If I wasn't in the class then I probably wouldn't understand the literature as much. I think reading literature that was about what we were learning in history helped a lot. All together I think its a good experience.
There are plenty of pros to a team taught class. First, I think it's fun. I love the way the environment is and honestly both teachers combined makes it funny. Another pro is that sometimes class work is combined together to make projects better. I also like the fact that class periods may be extended for some activities. I like both teachers in the class so I can stay focused a bit easier and I also have a good majority of friends in there. I think this is a positive experience because it helps prepare for a college environment. I don't have any major cons just that sometimes work seems to be a lot at times. I guess this is just the point of growing up then.
I liked being in the team taught class. It really makes the day go by faster, and I like the 6 minute break in between. It makes it feel like one hour instead of two. The cons would be that, sometimes it gets annoying being with all the same people, and so many of them for two hours, but that really isn't even that bad. I can't really find any cons. Its just a different style of teaching and I adjust to it. Some people would be getting less attention than in a noraml class, but that just depends on how you learn. For one thing, in a regular classroom, there wouldn't be as many people. Some may find that appealing, I don't really care either way. In a regular classroom, we would not be able to do the things we do. Like have those huge games of chalkboard football, or extend a movie in the the next hour. I would have to say that is another thing I really like about it, is the flexability. I don't really have any ideas on how to better the techings/ learning. I do like switching around the order of the classes though.

Throughout this semester i have had a lot of laughs. It has been a great high-school experience because most classes don't do this. Some pros of the class is its big and it feels conformable to be in. It has two really teachers funny teachers that gives everybody a hard time at some point of this year. It also is sweet to have most of my friends in the class along with my girlfriend. One of the things i like the most about it is were being taught like a college class. Some cons of the class is sometimes its hard to get one of the two teachers attention. Some positive experiences i had is working with most of the students in the class. Also chalkboard football was a good time through the first semester.
Well i like having a team taught class because it is really flexible. so on days for example where we are watching a movie we could finish it in one day rather than two or three. what i didn't like about a team taught class is that it is kind of impersonal. usually in a class room you get to know the people and teachers in your class well, but in a team taught class theres too many people to get to know. Also in a team taught class it is harder to talk with a teacher, not saying that you dont have time for us, it just takes longer to speak with a teacher. i think one thing that could be done is maybe changing seats between the two hours. that way it is easier to get to know different peoeple that surrond you instead of the same people for a whole term. i like being in a team taught class but i think that i prefer a smaller class. i am fortunate that i get to be in this class though because i think it will help us prepare for college, which is in a large grouped setting.
Some pros of the class is that there's so many people that can help you and stuff. It also feels like we have more independence. Cons would be that you guys don't always see whats's going on in the class. I sometimes think that the class is way too big. Overall I like the class though. A positive experience I had in the class was when I was gone for a week with mono that there were people in the class that helped me get caught up. Honestly, I'm not sure what advice I could give you guys. I like the setting even although I think the class is a little too big. It just seems really unorganized and confusing at times.

There are many good and bad things about being in a team taught class. A good thing about being in a team taught class is how you have some flexability. Sometimes if we need more time in one class then one teacher will give up some of the time. This is especially good when we watch movies. I like that we can play more games also in a team taught class. I think that group projects are alot easier too. Some cons about a team taught class is maybe it being harder to focus because there are so many people. A positive thing about the team taught class i experienced is the chalk board football. I think it helps alot of people. I dont have any advice or ideas. I think the team taught class is a great class to have.

As for the team taught class there are far more pros than there are cons. Some of the pros are that with the larger class we can have a big review game like chalkboard footbal. Also that some of the hour of each class can be used for either lit or history. For example when in Mr. Pouliot's class when we were watching Band of Brothers we needed a few minutes of Lit to finish the movie. Or when in Lit we need a few minutes of history to go over vocab or something. Another pro of the team taught class is that it is like a college taught class because of the size and that is a good experience to have. A con of the team taught class is that a student wouldn't get the individaul teaching like a regular size class. Also a pro with a team taught class a student could be a student could be picked on by two teachers at the same time instead of one at a time.LOL
But altogether I preffer the team taught class to my other classes.
There are many advantages, as well as disadvantages to being in the team taught setting. Honestly, I can think of a lot more pro's than con's but that is probably because unlike all the other students in this class, I came from Kababik. One con I guess I have noticed is probably that sometimes the class is so big and there is so many people which makes it hard to focus. However, having such a large classroom with so many different kids has also proven to have many pro's. For instance, when we do activities in class, the room is large enough for everyone to spread out without feeling crambed. I love having so many kids in the classroom because that means I get to see more of my friends during second and third hour. There have been lots of positive experiences this semester in class. I would have to say one of my favorite activities was the Olympics we did earlier this year. It was really fun and I really appreciated how much time Mr. Pouliot put in to make it such an entertaining, involved, learning experience. I guarrentee if I was in my old classroom with Kababik, we would NOT be doing anything like that. My only advice is to keep doing what you guys are doing, I am just thankful to be in the team taught class.
By the way, it should be spelled won, not one. Just saying.
So far i have really enjoyed the team setting. One of the pros of this would be that you have a lot of people with a lot of different opinions. Sometimes in a small class setting you only hear one or two opinions on something. with the team setting there are so many more people to show new perspectives. Also, i think its just more fun having more people because theres more people to work with on projects and just more chaos. Some people would say that a con would be you get less personalized attention but as a student i dont mind this. I personally like it better when the teachers leave me alone to do my work. One thing i dont like so far is that whenever you and mr pouliot explain a project it takes foreverrr. but i know that its necessary for some kids to have that extra explination. But, so far ive really liked the team class
I really enjoy the team class. I dont enjoy it just because i have alot of friends in there, but its preparing me correctly. I tihnk that this is helping me for in college. I think listening to lectures, and having lots of work is good. I like how we can so large group work as well. This is good because it is teaching me how to get along and work with others. HOwever sometimes, i dont like the busy work sometimes. Im not saying its not needed, its the only negative i could find. I thionk sometimes its just hard to stay focused. Overall its been a great experience and im glad im in that class.
Well I love being in a team class. It is so much fun and I look forward to it eveyday. Some pros are that there is more than one teacher. So sense Jewish Marc is always out of the room I can go ask Christian marc a question that I need answered. I also like the amount of kids in the class. Even though there is more kids, I can still get the teachers attention. Lastly, I like the option of doing watever we want between the 2 classes. We could have two hours of history or two hours of L.A. I really don't have any cons. I can't think of anythings wrong with it. Well one experice I had was today. In a regular class room u can't Bettye same atmosphere we had today in that room. All aroundit is just a good mood and good vibe. I say just keep doing what ur doing.
Zack ruffin
I think one of the pro's would be chalboard football. I think its a great study game. I also really like the fact that its a big surrounding. At the beginning of this year i know i had a pretty hard time adjusting to the big atmosphere and the roudy teachers. Because a lot of my friends were in there i was slacking and not paying much attention to my classwork, therefore my grades fell. After a while i started getting the hang of things. i now know how to seperate my social time and my school time. My grades have also changed drastically. I feel like i'm doing a lot better. There is no way in hell i'm having ms miska and mr kababik next semester. I WANT TO GET SWITCHED BACK!!!
There are many goods things with the team taught class but there are some bad things as well. One good thing is that it is preparing us for college. Its good to get used to this type of setting so that we wont be as suprised in college. Another thing I like is how we can sometimes work with people from the other class when were doing projects. Other classes can't do this. One of the bad things is that with all the kids in one big room it can be distracting sometimes. Another bad thing is that some kids that need more one on one time with the teacher arent able to get it because there is so many kids. Overall I think the big classroom is alright. I feel that I could learn better in a smaller classroom though.

After one semester of being in the team setting I've seen some pros and cons. One pro could be that It's more fun being in a team taught class. Any regular class I've ever had has been extremely boring. A con could bethat it's harder for each student as an individual to get help from one of the teachers. With a class of 60 teens it's hard even fo 2 teachers to meet every students needs. Having a team taught class is awesome. It would be nice not having to do presentations in front of 60 people though.

There are many different pros and cons to the team taught class. One of the pros would have to the flexibility. Sometimes Mr Pouliot would need the full 2 hours for a movie or activity, and sometimes you would need the full 2 hours for something. Another pro would be since there is so many people, it makes activitys or projects a lot more fun and enjoyable. I think a con would have to be, because there is a lot more people in the class, sometimes we dont get the individual attension from you guys that we need. Overall, i definetly have a positive outlook on the team taught class. Its a lot more fun, and we do a lot more fun projects and games in that class that we wouldnt normally get to do in a regular class.
being in the semester, i found many more pros then cons. I think that i like the team taught class a lot better. I was in team teaching with mr. Miller and Mrs. Miska and they were linked alot like our class now but they werent as benificial or as fun. I like being with a lot of students. Another pro is its easy to keep up with becasue all my friends are in that class and they always remind me of things like homework. Another pro is that Im not afraid to mess up because i feel comfertable so im not afraid to get up infront of the class anymore. A con is that i cant get as much individual attention, but as far as now im okay with that. Another con is that sense there are so many kids we get off track more but that dosnt bug me either:)
I like having so many people in the class. It makes it fun and interesting. And I like that if we didn’t cover everything in the 1 hour we ca cont on into the 2 hour. And some days we only have one class. Also how the class is set up more in a college way than others. I like some of the actives we do to, like having one class against the other. Some negative things are it can be harder to focus. Other wise nothing really. I think you could stop mr. Pouliot from yelling so loud and banging on that sutip desk!!! It hurts my ears!! Otherwise none really!
Like all things in life, being on a team taught class has it's pros and cons. A con is there's not as much individual attention with the students. However, we can always ask for help when we needed. A con is, with a bigger class we can do so much more. We can have two hours of one class, or even work into the next hour. Also, the activities are much more intense, and it's fun. For example, chalkboard football, it's so much more fun that we have the two classes, because it's way more intense then one class. Also, I feel that this really helps my learn the information better. I love it! The one thing that I wish for is when we do group projects, that we can pick our partners, because I always end up with people who don't do their part, and it's very stressful. However, I know that in life we can't pick who we work for and that we would have to live with it, so we're building that up now. That's all though [:

I am actually quite surprised that I liked the team setting. At first, the idea made me a little nervous. I thought that since there would be double the class, that it would be twice as hard to get us focused. I believe that the job has been handled fairly well. One thing that I really liked about the team setting was that if one teacher needed to have a project (or movie) run over, the other teacher would often give up class time for this. Of course though, the next day, it would be made up for. When watching movies in class, we didn't have to split it up into 3-4 class periods; the next period was used instead. I don't like when the class breaks up into groups (5-6 people); it gets quite loud. I've learned to live with it though. I have no suggestions you. Keep up the good work!
There are a lot of good things about being in a team setting and some bad. I like how there are more kids and therefore we can do bigger and better things. I also like how the stuff we learn in one subject goes with what we learn in the other, it helps me understand it better. Another pro could be that some days when we are going to watch a movie you can have both hours to do it and then we can finish a movie and not have to go on to the next day also. And lastly I really like being able to do a larger chalk board football, i feel like that helps me out a lot on history tests. I would have to say the only bad thing is that sometimes its hard to concentrate with so many more kids, but thats hardly ever that its distracting. I think its a good learning expirence for in college, because you dont know how many kids will be in your college classes. And with more kids it makes me try focusing more which is good because then I pay attention more and do better in each class.

I think that one of the pros to having a team taught class is that you get to know mroe people and work with people you might not always work with. Also, I love how we get to do different things like we did today in the CPA as a large group. I like how we have two teachers that both work together and help us remember to do work for both classes. Also, the curriculum sometimes connects better between the two classes with this setting. Some of the negatives are that some of the students have not gotten to show who they really are. I do not think Mr. Pouliot would know me even slightly if I hadn't done activities like filming him for video class. If we were in a smaller room like last year, I feel like it was a lot easier to feel like a family. I just knew that when I walked into your room or Mr. Mohr's room last year, I was with a group of people that didn't judge me and we all just were there to have a good time while learning. This year I feel like because we have so many kids, it is much harder to feel like a family and feel accepted. I do love having so many personalities in the class that make learning more fun, such as in Mr. POuliot's chalkboard football games. I think that some things that could help out would be that we should have 2nd and 3rd hour seats switched up a little so that we can sit by people other than just on our half of the class. You probably already know this, but I think keeping assigned seats is a good idea. There are too many cliques and people that talk and distract you from your work to let everyone have free reign over where they sit. Overall though, I have really enjoyed the team taught class.
There are many pros and cons to learning in a team taught class. One major advantage is that the teachers can share the time. For example, if Mr. Pouliot needs time to show a movie, Mr. Kay is generous enough to allow him to show it during his period. I also like the bigger setting because there are more people to give more input to the class discussions. It also prepares us for the large classrooms in college. We also have more people to get a good, competitive chalkboard football game going. A con of this setting is that sometimes the students won't get the personal treatment they need to learn. I also like the setting because I have more friends since there is two classes. One peace of advice (mostly for Marc) is that you should pile of work some days and then let us off easy other days. For example, you should disperse the work evenly instead of giving us 2 days to write a whole paper. You could've started that and gave us the prompt when we started the circle discussions. That's all though.
Btw, I answered 2/3 questions right in chalkboard football because I studied, and the one is lost was BS. Anyways, if more people had studied we might've had a chance.
At first I was really reluctant to the idea of the team class. I wasn't sure I would be able to learn as well because the attention had to be given to twice as many students than in normal classes. I really enjoyed the experience and I'm looking forward to next semester. The people in the team class all get along really well. I think this caters to our positive learning environment. The teachers are great. I always know that I'll be entertained while learning in 2nd and 3rd hour. I haven't really had any negative experiences but I have been called a vampire for more reasons than one. I love the group activities. I have gotten to know a lot more people in the class because obviously there are so many more than a normal class. I was really worried about focus at the beginning. Some teachers can't handle twenty students but I'm sure a lot of other students will agree that the two we have can handle it and are perfect for the job. I like how no one really feels left out. I review games are great. It kinda feels like were a team class and all on the same team.
Audrey
Some positive things of a team setting are that if were doing something where pouliot wants us to answer, like a lecture, we can hear different views from multiple students, instead of a certain number. Another pro is that any day, one of the two classes, pouliot or kay can give up their hour and we can either have two hours of history or lit. A con is that if the teacher is on the other side of the rooom trying to make a point, hes not usually speaking up, so the other side of the room cant really hear him. Another con is that i have to see kay two hours a day instead of a usual one! Some advice i have would be for pouliot to speak up when hes on the other side of the room trying to make a point, even though hes loud enough already.
well first of all, its won, not one.
I personally love being in the team setting. It makes everything way more flexibe. I also like that we get longer to learn things in one class some days so that it dosnt get split up, making it harder to learn. I also like having a big class because it kindof prepares you for college, in that the teacdher dosnt always have time to give each student alot of attention and help. I cant think of any cons at the moment. I really like the set up of the team class. I guess te only thing that bugs me would be that there are more annoying people who constantly talk in the bigger group. And since the class is so big, its harder for the teacher to pin point who it is. Other than that, i really like the team teaching set up.
I believe that being in the team setting has some benifits like being able to get the point of veiwe from two teachers at the same time. The only thing that I really dont like about the team class is how loud it gets, its hard to work sometimes. A positive experince that i have had in the class is being able to chose the groups we get to work in, and being able to have so much free time to work on our assisgnments. I enjoy both of you as teachers and think that you two together make a perfect balance which make it a good learning enviornment. So far I have kinda slacked off, but now im getting my act together and getting good grades.

alright the pros are that u guys have us for two hours and somtimes u can focus on one subject fora wole day. the cons are that somtimes that sucks. it depends on how u look at it and wat were doing but i love this class its really entertaining and i have fun but cons would probly be that r class has 60 people in it thats alot of kids to focus on even for two teachers. but thats the only bad thing i can think of

I really like the class so far. It allows me to talk with a wider selection of people than a regular classroom. It lets us have extra time for movies, lectures, and chalkboard football. I can’t think of any cons of experience the team setting. One positive is that some of my friends are in the class. I like how the history and literature are tied together in the class. I like the Kay vs. Pouliot chalkboard football competition. The negative experience was losing today. The only recommendation is to choose a better All-Star team.
There are many pros as well as cons to being in a team setting. For me, some pros are that i really like the environment and having a team taught class. I think it is more fun and relaxed. I also like that it seems we have less homework and time to work in class. Another pro to a team taught class is that then more of your friends are in the class. We also get to do better activities and such. For me the cons stand out more because i just looked at my grades; which is not the teacher aspect of it. As much as i love that there is so many people, its more social and many of my friends are in there; it distracts me SO much. I remember you and mr pouliot saying on the first day that if we doubted ourselves in the big seeting we would end up getting a bad grade, there i was on that day doubting if i could do it but i stuck it out because i liked the class. But, i definitly dont like what it did to my grades. I think this semester improved in not being so boring as last. So i cant think of too many cons besides i really cant concentrate. One other thing is that wedont get as much help or personal attention because their are so many kids, but i think it could also be beneficial because its more like a college course. I do know that like you said, part of the setting is on us and and working to our own potential, which i didnt do. Im disipointed in myself because i think i could have done alot better and got a wayyyyyyy better grade.
Being in a team setting this semester for the first time was like a slap in the face for me. i thought that it would be just like a regular class, but i was wrong. This setting was a lot more difficult. You two were hard on us, but i guess i just think that because i didnt take it as seriously as you. i should have tried harder and took it a lot more seriously. But i didnt and now my grade can show that. i really enjoyed the class as a whole. I like that its not boring. and i also like how Mr.kay cracks joke with students. im looking forward to trying harder next semester and seeing whats new to come.
One good thing about a team taught class is that there are more people to choose from for groups. I like that there are more chioces in partners. Another reason i like it is because there are more coices in how you and Mr Pouliot can teach. You can doing two hours of one subject if its needed. Some cons are that we might not get the help we need in class because there are more kids. Another con is that we arent forced to pay attention becuase there are so many kids that you dont single one out usually. Chalk board football is a positive experience that i wouldnt have had if i was in a regual class room.
I think there are alot of pros and cons about the team setting. One pro would be that you get experience alot of cool different ways of learning stuff. Also, there is always something new with being team taught. Another thing that i really like about it is that we can switch up the hours. There are some negatives about team setting too. One would be how many kids there are in the class. Sometimes it is very hard to stay focused because off all the commotion. Also, it can kind of be hard sometimes to keep up with all the stuff we do. Especially since there is so many of us and only two teachers. But mostly I think it is a really fun experience and can help get used to being in a big group of students.

The pros and cons of being in the team setting are simple. One good thing is that we get a chance to see what a college setting is like. But a con to that is that there is more people to talk, and annoy the shit out me, and anyone else I suppose. (: Another downside is that sometimes its harder to focus because there is more people in the room. I seem to learn better in this envirnment, which is a good thing. I dont know, I really dont have anything negative about this class setting.

Well there is alot of pros and cons in being in a team taught class. Some pros are that theres more of flexability in the classes. Another is that when it is needed we can have two hours of lit or two hours of history. another one is that it makes the class more intersting and fun. A con to being in a team taught class is that maybe a student won't get as much one on one attention because there are a lot more kids in a team taught class than a regular class. Its alot easier to get distracted and put off track. I really dont have any advice i like that way things are tought. (:
There are several pros and cons to the team classes. Some pros are one, theres more flexibility. If we need more time to finish something we can roll over into the other class if needed. and with more people you get different outputs on things. Some cons to team teaching are you dont get as much attention as you would during a normal size class. Theres more people that need help, and it could get frustratin sometimes for some people. I personaly like team teaching. Its something different.
There are many pros to this team environment. As many people have already stated, we really have 2 hours instead of just one that we can focus on any one subject or activity. So, that gives us a nice flexibility of being able to get the task at hand done. Also, a pro is that it's a lot more fun. We do a lot of projects, which can get annoying, but it is better than a regular style class. Also, since there is so many people and you guys dont really care if we move around and talk that makes it all more fun. Another fun thing is that you guys like to joke around with all of us, and embarrass us infront of the rest of the 60 kids, but everyone gets their turn. One con i would say is that the student to teacher ratio is very low...obviously, but hey that is just preparing us for what a college class room might be like. Also, you guys use the lecture method a lot and leave it up to us to decide whether or not to take notes and stuff, so that is also helping us gear toward college.
The team setting is definitely interesting. I really like the team setting and I wouldn’t ask for anything else. I think that it is a good type of teaching method and helps me a lot when it comes to learning. The amount of people makes it so much more fun and easier to learn with all of the activities. On the other hand, having so many people in the class can make it crazy at times, which takes away from lessons. I think that it would be cool to have little circle discussions instead of one large one. I got so lost when we had the one big circle discussion and then everyone watched. I really don’t have any complaints except for that. I really like the class setting and I am looking forward to second semester.

There are lots of pros to the team talk class. For example, not only is it alot funner, it is also more flexible in time management. Also, it helps that there are two teachers to help. And the atmosphere in the room also helps relax and learn. And the class is some what enjoyable. I don't really have much negative feedback. I think that the lit class shouldn't be so quiet, because it makes it easy to fall asleep. P.S. What kind of Lit teacher uses "one" instead of "won".
There are many positive things about being in a team teaching class. One thing is that it benefits the teaching schedule. One day there may be two hours of one class which can only be done in a team teaching class. Another pro is that it prepares you for a college class. College classes are much bigger then this two class team teaching but it still helps us adapt to college learning. A con about this class is you don’t get the attention as if you where in a regular class. Since there are double the students you get half the attention which makes it somewhat harder to learn. Overall I like the classroom setting and I hope it gets even better next semester.
I personally think the team setting is really helpful to me. Especially when we do big assignments or projects with partners, theres more people to chose from and switch with. The only thing i dont like about the team setting is that the classrooms are bigger, so u cant really hear people on the other side, plus its harder to stand in front of 60 people instead of just like 30. But i like the team setting alot better than the regular setting a whole lot more. the only thing that could be better is if there wasnt so many projects all the time. Not saying the projects aren't fun, but between the lit and history, i seem to spend alot more time on HW than my other classes combined. we should slow down on the projects, it would benefit my sleeping hours.
My computer has been down.
I personally like being in a team class. A pro is that it gets you used to a large group in a class room so that you are prepared for college. You also have an opportunity of making new friendships with many other people. Another would be that there are more people to contribute to the desiccation so you could get more out of it. A con would be that there are more distractions. Another would be that may not be able to get your work done a quickly as you would with a normal class because there are so many people. Advice I would have to improve the class would be to make everyone involved when you are having a class discussion because it can get a bit boring.
There are many pros to the group setting and very few cons about it. The pros are that if we needed another hour of lit or history we would have it. One more pro is that we are able to do more games, like chalkboard football. There is only one big con that I think could be a small problem with some people. I think because of the big group setting all students will not get all the help they need. I think that i learn better in the team setting then in a single class setting. I don't have any advice on how to change the class. I think is the best way to teach.
