All of the movies, songs, and works of art have influenced my life because it has really distracted me from everything. Some positive and negative, positively it just gives me a stress release from my day but on the other hand i sometimes get too distracted from things i have to do which is a habbit that is tough for me to break. Throughout the past week i have been getting side tracked with tv and my xbox while trying to do the project that you assigned us. This kinda pisses me off because i know my duty and i just cannot shake the habbit of becoming side tracked. This all is coming back and biting me in the ass. I am behind on the project and now i have to bust ass just to finish. It is really disapointing when i think about it.

I think a lot songs and books helped influence my life. I would have looked at life much different if I never encountered these. I know without these I would not be who I am now. Along with family heritage I have listened to country music all my life and thats what made me what I am. Half the things I do or how I act is from music. I love reading books about history and how some of my family was involved. Knowing who I am and were my heritage is based from makes me feel accomplised. Thats how they impacted my life.

Things you read, watch, or listen to can influence your life. For example, songs remind me of people, or memories that I have had. Also, if I am listening to a sad song, it kinda bums down my mood. If I am listening to a happy-go-lucky song it will boost my mood and make me wanna dance haha. They can sometimes be used for distractions, but for some reason they get me thinking about things. In general, movies can set standard of people lives. It can show the perfect boyfriend, or how good someones life can turn out, and that can influence the choices people choose in order to get what the characters in movies get. I have friends who very much compare their life to movies.

Many movies have influenced my life. I find it amazing how deep and close a movie can really hit. However i think movies only temporarily influence people. You can't stop thinking about it right after you see it but the longer you go without seeing it it wheres off. For instance the movie Never Back Down, its a sweet movie and it makes you want to just kick someone's ass after you see it but then it where's off. I think this is why we love these movies that inspire us so much. Its because we believe for that short period that we can do whatever the character in the movie did. One of the most influential movies i like to watch is the movie Miracle. This movie is all about the under dog and how they take down the top dog. In basketball i always see myself as the underdog to the much bigger and stronger big man i have to guard down low. However i bust my ass and work harder and smarter then they do to shut there ass down. In most cases.

I defiantly like to read. It gets me away from my world and puts me into another. I think that the way that people react in books, whether it’s good or bad, can make me realize different ways to handle problems. I mean, with the books I read they’re more girly books so of course there’s drama, which gives you glimpses of how to deal with that type of drama. I think that books, movies, anything you watch, read, and hear, could influence ones life. I get into book series. I think it is a good way to look forward to something when you’re done with a book. I guess that the intenseness of the books pulls me in. I love reading stories, and I’m always up for what happens next. I read the book “Wicked Lovely”, which is defiantly about changes that could happen to a person whether or not they are ready for them or want them. So this has influenced my life by showing me that not everyone gets what they want, and some things you may want might not turn out the way you planed. So, really, I love to just read a book. I think that it ois a good way to explore your mind and feel that intense journey a book may take you through.

I think the one that has influenced my life the most has been music. Music is a really big part of my life, and im always listening to it. There are a lot of songs that I will hear, and ill like them because of memories with that song. Or even sometimes a song will remind me of someone or something I dont really want to remember. I think without music life would be boring, and we wouldnt have anything to base stuff on. Songs can tell a story based on someones life, or how life truly is.

Some of them are just plain cool or funny. My favorite movie is Ferris Bueler's Day Off. I love this movie because it's message is to live life to the fullest. I always try my best to live life to the fullest because of this movie.

Mostly my favorite movies have influenced myf life, and the way i look at my life. The movies i favor the most are the war movies, like BlackHawk Down and Saving Pvt. Ryan. They are my favorite movies, because theyre intense and they help show the rest of America part of what our soldiers go throuhg in war. A specific example from these movies are how tough these gguys are when theyre in battle and when theyre not. They can keep their head in stressful situations and theyre just plain tough. I look up to that and when i see other people whining about something thats stupid, like not being able to get a shirt when they want it or wanting fast food and their parents not letting them get it, or just getting a little bump on your knee. I think about that thats been wearing his clothes for weeks at a time, and that hasnt eating a feast, just something outve a cardboard package. And that soldiers thats run miles, and that has gotten shot at, maybe hit, and still has gone without letting it stop them. Its impacted my life greatly, because i admire soldiers and look up to them, and when i cant get that fast food i want or the game i want, i dont whine about it, i just wait till i can get it.

Yes, some of my favorite books, movies, and songs have influenced my life. My favorite books are mainly fiction. These books help me to have an imagination, and make me look at the world in different ways. Some of my favorite movies show me how other people live their lives. These movies show me that I shouldn't judge people right away and try to understand where they're coming from. I love listening to music. My favorite songs have many different meanings behind them. When I listen to my music, I learn about diffrent events or things that can happen in life. I like books, movies, and songs that have meanings behind them. Whenever I listen to the song, "If Today Was Your Last Day" by Nickelback, I think about the important people in my life and the things that life has to offer. When I listen to this song it reminds me to make sure I spend as much time as I can with the ones I love, and to live life to the fullest.

Yes, i think all those things have influenced my life. A lot of the books that i read have adventure in them and curiosity. They make me want to go explore the world. Also song have a big influence they make me happy and lift me, on bad days they help change my outlook. My favorite movie, seven pounds, has really impacted my life. It showed me what guilt can do to a person. Also how much someone can actually care about others. The main character seemed selfless to me and he was willing to give himsel up to help other people.

I think many of these things have influenced my life in some way. I love to read and listen to music, so it's only natural that I would be influenced by some of these things. I have a new favorite song every few days to a week or so, so I don't think specific songs have impacted my life as a whole. I know music in general influences me at the time I am listening to it though. When I am in a good mood, I will listen to pump-up music or if I'm working out it makes me want to stay positive and keep my energy up. When I'm feeling down, I will listen to music that really makes me think about some life lessons or brings back memories. I think music helps me think clearly and helps me concentrate. I listen to music when I'm doing homework, which helps me focus (as long as the volume is turned down to a decent level). Songs can change your mood, make you think, or even make a boring situation fun.

I wouldn't really say songs have influenced my life of how I look at it. However, movies and books have made me think about my life. I love movies and books that give me a reaction. They are my favorite because some cause such a reaction that I can't get it out of my head. One example is the book, "My Sister's Keeper" which was later made into a movie. The book was about a girl who had cancer and how it basically destroyed their family. It was such an amazing and moving book. It allowed me to think about my life and appreciate how great I have it. I also thought what would happen if my sister got cancer and how I would be effected. This made me be much more thankful for the life I have and allowed me to appreciate that though it may be troubled later, I should enjoy it now why I can.

I would have to say that books and songs are what mostly have impacted me and my life. When I read a book that I can't put down, or have a connection with because I feel that the book is trying to tell me something. If the book has a quote, or saying that I like, it will inspire me to purse in something, or to be a better person, try harder in school and poms. Books are my favorite because someone wrote the book, and I generally like to think that the person who writes the book puts themselves in the pages, and in the characters. So when I read the book, not only do I relate to the character in the novel, I relate to the author. I always have thought that was cool. An example I can think of from one of the books was, "Someone like you" By Sara Dessen. Last year, I did the Independent reading novel project on it. That book spoke to because, Haley literally when through so much with Scarlet. With her getting pregnant, with her dead boyfriend. You can't even possible imagine what she must have gone through, and the entire time Haley was there by her side waiting. That is the true definition of a best friend. Someone who is willing to stay by your side, even when things are at a catastrophe. It really showed me the true meaning a best friend. Also, that if your lucky enough you'll have a friend who would do that for you. If I ever had to do something like that for my friend, I would in a heart beat. I will never forget that book.

My favorite movies, songs and books have influenced my life. They make me look at my life and see how its different than movies or songs and how its similar. I like things that relate to me. When I can see a little bit of my life in something, I start to like it more. My favorite movie ever is Miracle. This movie makes me think of my own life because of hockey. And when they end up winning the gold I feel the excitement becuase I know how exciting it is coming from nothing and winning. It makes me think of when my team won states and how excited we all were. Like I said i like when I can relate my life to the things I watch or read or listen to.

Yes, i do think that books, movies, songs, etc. can influence your life. My favorite books tend to be fiction. I like fiction books because you can have an imagination and it gets you to think. They also have a meaning behind them. For movies, i like comedys and chick flicks. I like these movies because even though they are cheesy and funny, they always have a great moral or meaning to them. For example, in my favorite movie, Mean Girls, the meaning is to not judge people. It is saying that it doesnt matter what click you are in, you can still be a really cool person. This has impacted my life because i learned not to juge people by what they look like, or what group their in.

Music influences my life a ton as well as movies too. Movies can make me laugh when I need it or also cry and be inspired too. Music does the same thing. I have a playlist of slow songs for when I'm sad and one of upbeat music for when I'm getting ready or in a good mood. Music really influences my mood and sometimes listening to certain things helps me concentrate on my homework. I guess certain songs have changed how I look at life in a little way because there is a message and a life lesson to learn in a lot of songs. One song that has influenced me a little bit lately is consider me gone by reba. It says "if i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose... lets not drag this on consider me gone." It is kind of an inspiration to always look for the best and not just settle into something that isn't really worth the time. It can apply to a lot of different areas in life but has a really great message of knowing when to stay and when to move on with things and do whats best for you and not be used by other people.

I dont like reading much but one book that I liked was The Outsiders. This book didnt really influence me but it did phase me. As you probably heard, in 7th grade when we read that book we started playing a little game outside. It was the greasers vs. the Soc's. It didnt really influence me in a major way. I do have a favorite movie though; its called Shooter. This movie was action packed and very entertaining. It was about a military sniper who got framed for a presidential assassination. After watching that movie, I wanted to be a sniper. After a little while though it phased me and I realized I didnt really want to be a sniper.

Many books, movies, and songs have influenced me. A lot of times inspirational movies inspire me in how I want to live my life. In the movie, My Sister's Keeper, it showed me how valuable family is, and made me want to spend more time with my sister. A lot of songs influence the way I feel a certain day. When I am sad, I listen to sad songs, and when I am happy, I listen to upbeat songs. These songs go along with my mood. I really like to read, and books also influence a part of me. I read the book, Speak, for a project last year, about a girl who learned to speak up for herself. Movies and books always have a moral which we can learn from. Through music, I think that I am influenced by the emotion the artist gives. If an artist is singing about loss or happiness, I can relate to the kinds of things they sing about. Overall, art is something that influences me everyday.

Books movies songs and sometimes art can impact your life. You could be sad and listen to a pumped up song and feel a little better. You could feel frustrated and read a book to forget everything for a while. I love music I liten to it as much as I can. It can calm me down or cheer me up. I also love books, but only good ones that im interested in. I hate reading books the teachers tell me to read. Its annoying and they are sometimes really boring. But I like to read on my own and books I want to read. (Since im grounded 24-7 I read a lot). When I can I love to watch movies. It’s another way to just get lost in another world. I can’t really say I have a favorite. I like too many songs and movies and books.

Yes, my favorite books, movies, and songs have truly influenced my life. They are my favorites because there is something inspirational I take from them. When writers publish a book or a songwriter writes a lyrics, he/she wants their audience to gain something from them. People are influenced by inspirational thoughts and ideas given in books, movies, and songs. One of my favorite books is "My Brother Sam is Dead". This book has impacted my life by showing a man's patriotism to his country. "My Brother Sam" showed the hardships of war and how one man handled them. War will be around forever, and there is always questions whether we should be at war, ex. How long should we remain in Afghanistan? Patriotism is important to me and this book showed me what a young man suffered trying to defend his country. Also, I loved the movie Private Ryan, which was about the invasion of Normandy; war's impact my life and I admire the people who fight/fought in them.

Humm (Yes, this is not a sentence). I know that people are influenced by all different kinds of things in their life. The arts influence people in different ways. I am influenced a bit by these things. These examples of the arts are my favorite through personal preference. For example, I am personally a bit more in favor of (taking pictures of) more urbanized scenes than I am about nature photography (Sidenote: I like both though). Something that impacted my life was a book by James Patterson called "Maximum Ride." I can attribute this book to getting me into reading. While the amount of reading I do has slowed down due to school and life, I still enjoy reading whenever I can.

Yes some of these things have influenced my life, but in different ways. If I am in a bad mood and there is a certain movie or song I like I will listen to it and hopefully feel better. Some movies might show what people like. Movies have influenced my life by my personality. watching comedies give me a funny personality, but watchg war make me more serious. I think all of these things play a really big poart of my life.

I don't know about any of these things "influencing my life." I for sure have a favorite movie and song that I go to when I want a good laugh or just be in my own world. My most favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda because it always gives me a great laugh and it funny everytime you watch it. So I guess maybe you could say it kind influences my life. My favorite song is face down, by the red jumpsuite apperatus. My reasoning for this song is becuase it kinda put me in a better mood when I am down and maks me smile. Let say i'm having a bad day the first thing I will do when I have the chance is put my headphones in my ears and blast that song. I don't know why it puts me in a better mood, nut it just does. The beat makes me feel like im in my own little world and nothing can get me down.

I think works of arts has influenced my life the most. You could say that I have been raised surrounded by art my whole life. We visit Wyland Gallery in Disney World far too many times for me to remember. My parents have purchased enough artwork to cover almost every wall in the house. Most of our works of art are from Wyland Gallery.
This summer we visited Wyland Gallery in Key West. We actually met the well known Mr. Wyland. My parents commissioned a brush stroke. He created it right in front of us.
It was pretty interesting to watch as the white canvas turned into a painting in front of our eyes. So I guess you would say that is my favorite piece. It is three dolphins jumping through the water. My parents asked for three to symbolize James, Jenna and me. This piece of art reminds me of family and fun times. So I would say that I wake up and see art every day, my favorites are the ones that remind me of happy times.

I consider books, movies, songs, works of art, etc to influence my life. I believe things become my favorites because they make me happy. If I'm listening to a song on the radio and it makes my head nod, then I consider it something good to listen to. I find that movies are something harder to like. Usually their predictable or uninteresting to me. A specific example of when a work of art impacted my life was the movie, The Strangers. Literally ever since that movie I'm afraid to be home alone. I wish I had never watch it and from now on I will never watch scary movies.

I think that all forms of cultural art greatly influence my life, especially the books i read. When i read a really good book it inspires me to apply the themes to my own life, and see how it turns out. Or it just makes me look at things differently, and appreciate them more. These things, my favorites, influence me so much because they are really easy to get into, and to understand in your own terms. Movies, books, songs ect all help me understand things better, and help he sort things out. An example of a book that has changed the way i think is Through the Looking Glass, and what Alice Found There, by Lewis Caroll. As a child i must have read that book a thousand times. But as a child, i simply saw it as a fun read, and it made me alot mor imaginative and creative. Now that im older, i see all of the hidden meanings in the story, and it kind of opens my eyes to things i never used to pay attention to.

There are tons of different movies that have some what been an influence my life. However, I strongly believe that there are certain films that strike a higher cord. Sometimes I will see a movie and laugh for hours on end and quote it for months and months with my friends. These such films would definitely qualify as my favorites because they are so fun and comical to watch. Sometimes comedies can be very influentual by showing me how to laugh at myself and not always look at life so seriously, but more meaningful and heavy movies usually make more of a difference. For instance, I just recently saw the film, The Blind Side, in theatres with my grandma. I was surprised how great the story within the movie was. It is a true story about a NFL linebacker, Mike Orr and the hard, unbelievable life he has gone through and the course that he took which brought him to where he is today. Being born in the projects with little hope to becoming anything more than part of a gang, he always had faith. Faith, hard work and with help from a loving, adopted family, he made it to not only live a respectable life, but he is now playing for the Raiders. This movie inspired me to look at my life differently. I used to take what I have for granted most of the time. This movie influenced me to appreciate what I have more often and also to perservere through the hard times. This has had a huge impact on my life, especially right now in my life, when I am getting overwhelmed with some situations at home and at school. Overall, the number one way this film has influenced my life is that it taught me to always have faith.

My favorite books and everything haven't influeneced my life. I think they haven't helped the way I look at life. They are my favorites because I like them. One example of one of my favorite things is the song Where is the love by the Black Eyed Peas. It talks about how people need to unite and stop hating one another. It also talks about how people are too greedy for their own good. I agree, there are not many people in this world that would help each other just to do it.

Many songs and movies have infuenced my life greatly. Many have inspired me to do something of just made me feel good in a sad situation. They are my favorites usually because they are entertaining, howerver, even boring things have influenced my life. I do not have one specific song that i can recall that has affected my life, becaus I have a new favorite song just about every week. There are many movies that have inspired me to do what ever i want. One of these movies is the movie Gridiron Gang. While I am not a criminal, I have been inspired by that particular movie to strive for what I believe in. It is very inspirational in the fact that if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. Overall, I don't really read for fun, so I havent really had many books inspire me, unless they are nonfiction. I like to learn about history, and famous people who have shaped our world.

I think I like these movies because some parts are funny and others are sad. I like being on an emotional rollercoaster and really getting into a movie. I even imagine myself as the characters sometimes. A movie that has impacted my life is School of Rock. I think I saw this movie in 5th grade. It really inspired me in my music. I play piano and the movied actually inspired me to take up guitar. It also got me hooked on the band AC/DC. I have been obsessed with them ever since I saw that movie.

A lot of movies have influenced my life. I see examples of they way people should be living, or some movies that show people how the way americans treat one another is wrong. But most importantly a lot of movies are freaking hilarious, most I see movies that make me laugh, then I use quotes from that movie to make other people laugh. The movie zombie land is one of my favorite movies because its got romance, action, and comedy. This movie impacted my life by seeing one of the most bad ass zombie killers of all time. He is a roll model of the how to live by yourself, how to cut ties from all other people and live a life of solitude. The other movie was district nine. In District nine there is an underlieing theme that shows how terrible people treat each other, and that has affected the way I treat people.

So many things influence who we are and what we do, especially our favorites. one of my favorite books was the outsiders by S.E. Hinton. I remember reading it for school in 7th grade, and i actually liked it! it influenced me to me immensely and created a passion i still have today. S.E. Hinton wrote this novel when she was only 16! i remember thinking that is she could do it why couldn't i? So i started writing, i have written many poems and started many novels. I can't seem to stick with one and actually finish it though. but i know one day i will at least has one novel, published or unpublished I'll write it.

When you hear a song that reminds you of something that's going on in your life you really start to think about the lyrics and what they actually mean. i really don't have a specific song but i know a lot of them inspire me. A time when a song impacted my life would be when i heard a song about relationships. and i thought about mine and pats. it really got me thinking about whats right and wrong.

I can't think of a particular favorite song but my favorite kind of music would be country. Wait, my favorite song would be "Hurt" by Johnny Cash. This song has influenced how I look at life. It influenced me because Johnny Cash is just saying it as it is, you are going to die one die. The song is about him looking back on his life and thinking about all the things he did. All of the good and bads things. It is one of my favorites because Johnny Cash makes you feel what he is feeling inside. You can just tell how he feels when he sings it. Also because it is the last song he ever preformed befored he died. Another singer I really like is Hank Williams Sr. I really like his music because he can also makes you feel what he felt inside. Not like this stuff they call country today. They don't make/sing it like they used to.

The music I listen to, the movies I watch, and the books I read influence me in a huge way. My music I listen to influence my life. My music gets me through a lot of things. The music I am currently obsessed with is Incubus and Slightly Stoopid. They change the way I look at life because most of there songs talk about living you life to the fullest in some way and I have recently been trying to do exactly that. The song warning by Incubus especially talks about living you life to the fullest. It also talks about just being happy with yourself and not caring what other people think. Whenever I get mad and start not to care anymore I listen to this song and it makes me realize how short my life actually it is and I should appreciate it.

I would definitely say that music and books have influenced my life emensly. Not so much movies because they seem so unrealistic at times. But music and certain books hit hard when you can relate to them so well. My favorite book is so because, I can relate to it well and I just take a liking to it. They are usualy an ideal form of what I want to be or want my life to be. Therefore, I try to imitate how the characters are or act. There is a character I particualry admire in a book series called Fruits Basket. Her name is Torhu and is one of the most adorable and respected characters I have ever read about. She treats everyone with great love and compassion. She also lives her life to the fullest and is always smileing. I have admired her so much, that I try to think what she would do in my situations because she always handled things so well. I suppose it is kind of strange to like a fictional character so much, but it just touched my heart so deeply, I couldn't help but be affected by such a fantastic character.

Yeah i guess in a way they do for sure. I think songs influence more than any other. Well for me at least they do. I guess songs are easy to relate to because most of them are stories about stuff. Country music is that way espicially. One song that I think influenced me was called grandpa by Justin Moore. It reminded me a a lot of how my grandpa was and the way he acted. It makes me miss him a lot also. He was a great guy and i cant wait to see him in heaven. RIP

Almost all songs, movies, and works of art impact my life. I love music and i love movies. I dont love art as much but i still enjoy it occasionally. Music has made a huge impact on my life. I am basically obsessed with music. I can't live without music in my life. Movies have also made a huge impact on my life. For example, when i saw the movie Click, i began to realize that things are as good as they are going to get and you should be appreciative of what you have not what you don't have.

I think after reading, watching movies, listening to music gives you different experiences. Even though your not the one going threw what they are going threw its like your them for that moment. It makes you look at life in a whole new perspective. Like you never really thought of something in that way or even actually thought about that. You seem to understand things differently threw someones eyes. My favorite books or movies are something that has actually happened before. I like to hear about real experiences. Yes I like made up movies or books to but its just not the same, they don't have the same meaning to me. The book I'm reading right now is Tweak. Its about this guy who's a recovering addict. It just show's that not everyone has a perfect life. People struggle from day to day with different problems. His just ends up being heroin, speed and meth. It impacts my life because I start to realize that I could be the one going threw what he is going threw. And that I need to be careful because something like that could happen to anyone. Not just about the drugs, but what is really going on in his life. Ending up with no one because of the certain decisions hes made. Like I said stories like these give you a look threw someones view on life. Which can really impact you.

Oh, Marc. I probably shouldn't be commenting on this, as I'm a senior, but I sort of miss these blogs. So if you will excuse me junior class, I'm gonna post in here.

Many different types of creativity influence me daily, be it a movie or a song or otherwise. I think it's creative influence that inspires us to change or craft who we are, if even for a moment, around the ideas and emotions portrayed in such arts. For example, as many others have stated, when listening to a melancholy tune it's almost natural to sort of mold your emotions around the song. I often put such a song on repeat if I'm sad, as I really connect with a certain song at a certain time. A major influence on my life has without a doubt been the Lord of the Rings trilogy. You may call it nerdy, but I call it wonderful. The wealth of information etched into that series is amazing, and it's this series that influenced me to want to become a writer. Writing has always been a niche of mine, but this series really set that into stone. After reading the novels I was inspired to write a book. It's sad to say that I only completed several chapters of this book that I wished to create until I gave up on the project, but it was a nice little get-away from reality when I sat with the pen and pad and put onto paper all of the crazy things running through my mind in a storybook fashion, crafting a plot around central characters and ideas for future scenes, etcetera. Although I have given up on the book project, I have continued to write poetry. Being a songwriter - and a song is a poem of sorts - I am constantly writing verses as stanzas and the like. Music is my central outlet of emotion in life. When I strum my guitar or press my fingers into the notes my piano, I feel vibrant and colorful. Knowing how the music that I listen to and enjoy influences my mood and thoughts, I write my own music to do the same not only for myself but for others. And it has worked. For example, a friend of mine was listening to a song I'd written and recorded entitled "Eros and Aphrodite". When I listen to the song I simply feel lighter and happier, but when Connor listens to the tune he tells me that he feels in another world, a one better than this where worries were non-existent and happiness was eternal. It amazes me; not only am I influenced by other people's work but my work, too, influences other people.
