Honor can be defined in many ways. My personal definition is that a person receives it when someone shows courage, responsibility, hardwork, and does what they are told. Honor is defintely an important value in my life. This is important because I strive to be an honorable person. I want people to be able to look up to me. Not only do I strive to be honorable, but I know many people who I consider to be honorable. I think of my dad as an honorable person. He works extremely hard to help support my family. My dad also has many responsibilities in his life. For example, he has to go to work, cook for myself and my family, and take my sister places. I think honor is a good thing to have, and I can only hope that I can be an honorable person like my dad.

My definition of honor is high respect and fairness. A person's honor defines what they believe in and what they stand for. Honor is a very important value in my life. I believe honor is an important quality to obtain because it helps you define yourself as your own person. For example, I honor the things most important to me in my life such as my parents and family, God, and I put honor into my education and school work. An example of an honorable person is my pastor Father Tom. Father Tom has been a priest at St. Patricks Church for over 20 years. He has high ideals and moral values. He cares for each and every member of the church and follows through in all of his many tasks to aid the church. He honors God, each and every person he helps, and himself making him an overall honorable person.

I find honor to be defined as a word meaning to be devoted to or to support something or someone. Things such as our nation is honored by us americans in order to keep us together. Without any honor in the world, we would probably not get anywhere. Personally in my life, i find honor very important due to the fact that i was born to a very honarable family. They all keep a spot in their minds and heartts for god and religion as well as there honor and love for eachother. An i honorable person who i feel is probably the biggest to walk through lakeland high has to be Nolan Hughes. Nolan had more school spirit than any other teacher in the school put together. Nolan showed honor by attending all of our school events or any school activity held. He was very into our school and felt that not just him but every student or person involved in lakeland shall all ways be proud of our colors and cheer for eachother.

Personally i define honor, as doing things with integrity, pride, and hardwork. I believe in a teenagers life this is huge. One, in school we must haave honor to not cheat on test, and be a positive membr in the classroom. Secondly, i am in national honor society. I think its very honorable to be able to go to school, get good ghrades, play sports, and do community service. Next, i feel it honorable to be a part of the community and make good choices. Some of these could be not drinking and driving, and staying drug/tobacco free. This honor is important to me beacause it keeps me in check. If i do everything wiyth honor that must mean im doing things correct. I feel one honorable person is Tiger Woods. I dont think Tiger abuses his power, and he does everything. You have to be pretty honest to be a golfer. I also like how much he gives back, that is very honorable.

I would define honor as the evaluation of a person's trusworthiness & that persons social status based upon their actions. It's all about the choices we make in life that make us who we are. People are assigned worthiness based upon honest, integrity, and respect. Someone who has honor has earned a symbol of distinction by his or her actions. Honor is an important value in my life. Honor is being myself, not being afraid to be an individual as well as doing what I believe is the right thing to do. An example of an honorable person is Rosa Parks. She refused to give up her seat on a bust to a white passenger. Her act of defiance was an important symbol of the civil rights movement. She was tired of giving in and was honest to herself. She went againt the society's norm and stood up for herself and earned the respect of many of her peers. In order for society to progress we need more honorable people to come and be good examples to our societies.

My definition of honor is having your own opinion on things and believing strongly on what you say and do. I also think that all of your honor is an image of what you think of yourself and defending what you believe in. Honor is extremely importent in my life because whenever i work on anything i try to take as much pride in what im doing and it makes me feel honorable because i know that i tried my hardest. Even if i make a mistake i own up to my mistakes and i think that makes me honorable. A person who i think has too much honor to give is Oprah. Oprah has inspired so many people and she enjoys giving. The main reason why i think Oprah is honorable is because like me she takes pride in everything she does. Honor is in all of us, we just need to find it.

To me, honor is being truthful and having integrity in your actions. People who are honored have often done noble things, and have a trustworthy and respectable character. Honor is an important in my life, because I want to live a life that is truthful and respected. I want to be a person that people can trust. In life, I want to have a respected character, and do good things for others. Not only do I wish to have honor for others, but also for myself. I want to feel proud of the decisions I've made. An example of an honorable person is Martin Luther King Jr. MLK risked his life to make a better future for others. He stood up for what he believed, and persisted on creating equality. He created a better future for Americans today. He didn't stand down when things got difficult, instead he did not stop until things were made right. It is everyday people who do things for the good of others that are honorable. My dad is another example, because he has given up so much for his family so we can be happy. He is always honest and caring. I want to live an honest and selfless life like my dad, because he is someone I honor.

Honor is used in many concepts, its very common still to this day in some traditions. I would define honor as being loyal to a certain something whether this be a country, person or something you care for. Still to this day honor is a important value to have in your life. An example of honor could be honoring the soldiers in iraq for all their sacrifices. They risk their lives everyday to protect us and make us a free country. An example of honorable person could be my dad because he's basically taught me everything i know. If i could honor any person in the world it would be my dad.

I think honor is indefinable. I think honor is what people make of it. Honor can mean different things to different people. You honor your friends and families different then you honor your school or your work. Honor is a big deal in my life. I think my stepfather is a very honorable person, he is dedicated to everything he does and I respect him. He has been there for me for as long as I can remember and to step into another family and take on another daughter that isn’t technically yours and treat her like your own is very honorable in my eyes. I think honor can be given to a hero or someone you just look up to.

Honor is being able to really be proud of what youve accomplished and succeded in. If you have honor you will stand up and fight for and defend what you believe. It means that you feel everything youve done is right. And its being able to say everything youve done you have put all your effort in. Having honor is very important in life. I feel this way because if you dont do things with honor your doing them half ass. If you do everything half ass you wont make it very far in life.

onor can mean many different things. i think it means being truthful in what you say and being being loyal to certain things you feel are valuable. and to just do the right thing. this is an important value to me because i for one like people to tell me the truth and expect it. i in return will tell you the truth. another reason is because i feel that when you say you will do something for another or for yourself that you should stick to that thing and not give up. to stay true to your word. an honorable person could be some as simple as a stranger finding someone's wallet, with all of their personal information in it to return it to the person or turn it in to lost and found or the police station.

I define honor as something that is earned and not given, just as it is wtih respect. Honor is gained when someone does something that betters more than just themselves. Honor is built apon a good personality, willpower, courage, the drive to help others, and the ability to lead. This is a very important value in my life. it is because that is how I was raised. I find my entire family as an embodiment of honorable people. My dad is Filipino and my dad's side of the family, the Filipino side, is all about honor and respect. And on my mom's side of the family, most of my uncles have served in the armed forces. My family always trying to help others, they are respectful, couragous, they are leaders, and are good people with great personality. With that side of the family everyone is always either an aunt, an uncle or a cousin, due to the respect and honor factors.

I believe honor means that you are respectable and moral. I do value honor because it keeps you in line. I try not to do anything that will make me be respected less or destroy my morals. I believe that Martin Luther King Jr. is a very honorable person. He knew something was wrong and decided to change it. Instead of backing down and being looked down upon, he stood up for what was right. I think he did this because he wouldn't be able to respect himself if he didn't. He also stuck to his morals. He did a campaign on making a change without using violence. I believe he is respectable and moral so he is very honorable.

My personal definition of honor would be fairness and honesty. People with honor are generally good people. They will take time out of their day to make another persons better. They tell the truth to make things right. To be an honorable person, you stand up for what you believe in. Sometimes honor can be taking a differnt path than what you grew up in to make your life and the ones around you better. The first honorable person who comes to my mind is Martin Luther King Jr. He went up against discrimination to provide a fair and better life for the colored. Although he broke many laws, he still did the right thing. He stood up for what he believed in, and spoke out against what was unfair and unjust. I think honor is a value in everyones life whether or not it is important to that person. Honor is important to me, because it provides a better environment, and makes people stronger as individuals.

An honorable person is someone who is selfless. They cannot think of themselves before they think of other when set in a dangerous situation. I think that only few people in the world can actually say they are honorable. You have many values you can uphold. Values such as freedom, love, or loyalty are defiantly on my top five. Honor can be an important value, but I don’t think that is is quite important. In the Iliad, honor is a very huge value for Achilles and Hector, but they were strong warriors, and had duties to uphold. In my life, honor would be nice to have, but I don’t think I actually have honor and I don’t find it that important. Although, the one person that I think is very honorable is the Dalai Lama. He is a very selfless person and he always is out to help spread world peace.

I would define honor as a value held true by someone who has respect for himself and others. Yes this is an important value for me in my life because honorable person sticks to their values and morals. An honorable person I can think of is yoda from star wars. Yoda is a very skilled jeti and has the patience to teach others to become a great jedi like himself. Yoda has the respect of his opponents, and as honorable as he is, he also has respect for them. Yoda stays true to the values he followed when he was growing up, and teaches others them. These reasons make up how yoda is an honorable person.

I think that honor can be described many different ways depending on the person it pertains to. to me honor would be upholding promises, being fair, and doing my best at things. Honor is important in my life, like it should be in everyone's life. honor is what pushes us to become good, or better people. no one can make you be honest or fair, you have to be willing. An honorable person could be explained as a diligent worker and taking pride in there work. while a less honorable person would slack off on assignment or not even do them. there are many different ways for a person to be honorable. people may believe completely in honor, being fair and trustworthy and working hard. or others may just be honorable in a couple of those aspects, either way honor is important.

To me, honor can be defined as honesty, fairness, and integrity. Honor is an important value in my life. I want to be somebody that people can look up to, that people respect, and don't take for granted. However, I am just one of the many people that want to be honorable. The person in my life that I believe to be very honorable is both my mom and dad. They both work very hard and will do anything for me, which sometimes I don't appreciate as much. They both work full time for their jobs, pay bills, taxes, provide for them and my self. What I mean to say is, they don't just work full time at their jobs, their always working. They are always do something whether it's for work or something personal. Also, my dad is probably one of the most honest person I've ever met. He tells it how it is. I really admire that. All in all they are both very honorable people, I hope to some day be like them.

My defination of honor would be someone that has high morals, integrity, and is trustworhty. Also someone that rises to challenge, even though they weren't asked to. Honor is an important value in my life. It is an important value because it says a lot about a person's character. I try to be honorable most of the time and do the right thing. It is very to me to be honorable. A person that I feel that is very honorable would be John McCain. I think that because even though he didn't win, even though he should have, he still went and congratulated Obama when he won.

The way i would define honor would be being loyal to your counrty to your name or to your friends. It is also defernding what you beleive in to the fullest extent. I dont think it is an important value in my life. i dont have the big enough resposibility to have that value yet. To have honor in something you must have a great deal of responsiblity and respect for that. Nothing in my life is that big. I think an honorable person would be a marine or someone who gives their lives for someone else. They give their lives for the country and they would die to save our lives. Their honor for our counrty keeps them going strong.

Honor is showing high respect, esteem, recognition, distation, exclence of character and getting great privlage. Honoris a vey important value in my life. Honor defines who you are as a person. An example of an honorable person is my D.I cpt.bradstreet. He spend his timehelping kids turn the life around through god. He follows through on all his duties. making himan honorable person in my book.

My defenition of honor is someone who puts themselves in harms way to help or protect others. Personally, it is a large part of my life. I may act like a jerk sometimes but when it comes right down to it, I would try and protect someone if they were in trouble. This does not just mean the kids I like though, even the kids who are mean to me I would try and protect if they were in danger. An honorable person, would be pretty much anyone in the US Army. They are out there fighting to keep us safe. they put themselves into danger so that we can sleep peacefully at night. Some may argue that they are just following orders, but, especially in the pact couple of years, they know what kind of danger they are signing up for. Those kinds of people are truly honorable people.

They risked their lives to save ours in the war. So i think that they are the most honorable of all.

Honor may be defined by others in many ways. To me, honor is realize what is right and base your decisions off that no matter what the situation is. This is an extremely important value in my life. Not only for myself, but for the people who surround me also. I wouldn't want to be around someone, knowing that they will pick the simplest thing to do if they get the chance. An example of an honorable person is a doctor. It would be so easy to let a patient die instead of taking the time to save them. Doctors are extremely honorable for what they do on a daily basis.

To many people honor can be defined into many meenings, to me honor is defined as upholding a moral code. Honor is very important in my life, without honor I would be some drug using piece of crap person who doesnt respect themselves or other people around them, also to me honor is not just respecting yourself its being there when people need you for something, or upholding moral values. For example I have never participated in using drugs, mostly becasue my entire family threatens to disown me if i do, but its also a choice that I am proud of because I rise above the pressures of high school to better myself. One person in my life that I beleive to be an honorable person is my friends dad Mr.Ed. I consider him to be very honorable because he is always there to help me and my brother out when we have problems, plus his word is his life; when he says he is going to do something he will do it. Also he upholds his own moral values and works his butt off to make sure that he can support his kids.

To me I think of honor as high respect. Or having integrity in your own beliefs or actions. In all, it has a lot of meanings to it. For me, I suppose honor is a big deal. You want people to have respect toward you. But it really has to do with you. Your the one who has to be honest and so fourth. I think our president is a very honorable person. But then again I think every president is honorable. Each president has such a big job. They have to run the country and make big decisions everyday for our country. Honor is hard to gain but to me every person should try to be looked at as honorable.

My definition of honor is someone who is commited and takes pride in what he or she does. Honor can be personal as well as part of a group of team. For instance in war men who did anything to protect there country was given the medal of honor a very prestejuss military award. I would like to be seen by others as an honorable person, For my hard work and leadership. This is important to me because i am a very proud person and am commited to much of the things i do. Another example of an honorable person is the leader from braveheart. This man was very proud of his heritige his other soldiers and his country. This is why people looked up to him and it is also why he was seen as a leader.

Honor can be defined as many things, but my definition of honor is when someone has done as much as they can and reached their full potential doing something, through hard work. This is a very important value in my life. Because it helps me work harder at things, so i can be happy at the end of the day knowing i gave it my all. An honorable person would be a soldier. Soldiers go over into enemy territory to fight for their and our country, that shows courage, hardwork, duty, and honor. Some of them get real messed up with PTSD or just torn up, and that shows true honor. Vetrans are the best example of honor. Other than a soldier thats active, because they'll most likley be able to tell you their experience, which is very important to them, to be able to tell someone what it was like to go through what they went through.

My concept of honor is about a person's integrity and honesty. This is an important value in my life because I want people to be able to trust me. I want people to be able to know I will do what I say I am going to and I am not going to make them regret trusting me with something. Just because I am not perfect does not mean I cannot try and do the honorable thing as much as possible. I think that my dad is an honorable person. He always seems to know what is right and he follows through on his beliefs. He stood up for a friend when his friend was the only person against an entire group of people. He always puts his family and few close friends first. Honor is not always the easy route, but it is usually the better one.

I think some people may take honor in there work, goals, and successes. I think honor has been very important in my life. I know that I feel in great honor when I get a deer, good grades and accomplishing my goals. An honerable person in my life would be my dad. The concept of honor can be percieved in many ways, depending on personal values and opinions. I believe that honor is very similar to respect, in the idea that respect is earned, just as honor is earned. Honor can also be lost just as quickly as repect can fade. Honor is embodied in a person who is either courageous and brave, or giving and selfless. This is an important value for me in my life because i appreciate all the people in my life who have earned my respect/honor. An example of an honorable person is my mom. She is selfless and cares for the rest of my family. She embodies this concept because she has many responsibilities throughout her life, yet she still manages them all. My mom is a very honorable person and I hope she continues to influence me to be a better person.

I would define the concept of honor as most importantly having integrity in everything you do. Another thing that goes along with honor is doing something noble and willing to risk putting your life in danger to help other people. This is how you get honor. You have to earn it from the people that respect you. Honor is an inportant value in my life. I want people to honro me and I also want to be able to honro and look up to other people. I want to live a life where I honor myself as well. I want to be able to look at myself and say that I have integrity and I am hardworking. An example of an honorable person is Abe Lincoln. He fought for the slaves and he didn't mind risking his life to fight for them. This is why so many people liked him and respected him. He was a great leader and he had integrity.

I would define honor as hardwork, repsect, and courage. Honor is something you earn. Something that when you achieve it, you have all the possibilties you can imagine. Honor is a well repected and liked trait in a person. Honor is a role in everyons life, so of coarse it plays its part in my own. We all have people we honor or with honor, so we know how to treat it. I mean we treat these people with respect and enjoy being with them. It shaped who we are in a way because we learn how to act around them, and catch on to it with others. Honor is well worked for and isnt something you can fake. Its a true trait.

I think of my dad as an honorable person. He has been working at the Dodge Truck Plant for 9 years now and is still stuck on second shift. During my childhood, he missed many of my sports events as well as many of my sisters. He always made it when he could but overall he wanted to be home during the evening. Over these nine years he's rarely been home for dinner. Throughout all this, he always stays positive and doesnt lose it when things get difficult. I give him credit for this which is why I think of him as an honorable person.

If you didn't have any honor in your life there would really be no point, Your whole like would be based on a lie. My mother is a very honorable person in my life. Taking pride in what you do and being true to yourself is all a part of honor. An honorable person to me is my dad. My dad is honorable because he had a rough like many people but he never let it get to him, and treats people with the most respect unless he has a reason not to. The best definition would be that honor is something inside a person that makes them battle of put their lives at stake for something that is important to them. This is important in my life mainly because of my family. When my family or friends are in need of something, or need to talk, its an honor to help out. An example of an honorable person is my neighbor Joe. Hes currently over seas fighting in the war on terror. He is a good example of honor because he fights with honor for his country and his family and everything he loves. He is also honorable for going into battle with his life for them. And I think he is one of the most respected people I know.

The concept of honor basicly means respect from many people and well liked. Someone with honor is respected, courageous, and an inspiration to others. I would say that honor is something important in my life. To get be honored by my parents or even byt he school could only be a good thing. Honor is something that has to be earned, with either hard work or goos deeds. An example of an honorable person would be Ghandi. He earned respect from people by standing up for what he believes is right, which makes him courageous. He was an inspiration to many people and a great leader. Ghandi also wasn't seeking honor, which makes him an even greater individual. Honor is a very valuable thing to posses in a person, and an important thing to obtain.

To me, honor is something that comes along with having integrity, respect, responsibility, and trust. Honor is often a hard thing to gain such as a reputation but can be easily lost with one mistake. This is an important value in my life because I believe that everyone should have honor because it is a part of being a good person. Some people's definition of honor is different than other people's definition and it is important for everyone to form their own. I set high standards for myself usually and I believe that is a good thing and will help me be a better, more honorable person in the end. An example of an honorable person is any soldier fighting for our country. Being a soldier is a hard job and takes a lot of courage and strength. It is important for someone to be defending us and our rights and soldiers are very highly regarded honorable people.

Honor is being loyal, caring, and perceptive. Most people are loyal to their country, their family, their school, etc. Being honorable is an important value in my life. Without honor, I wouldn't (have to) care about what I do in the future. I believe that in my life, I stay loyal to my whole family, my friends, and teachers. An honorable person in my life is my Mom (and Dad also). She is honorable because she has made great choices in her life, and has always cared about other people. What is honorable to us is determined by our personal beliefs and morals. Honor is important to all of us.

My definition of honor, is someone that shows courage and responsibility, someone that overcomes hardships, and works hard. Honor is an important part of my life. It's important because I want to be a person people look up to. I want people to respect me, and being honorable gets you respect. In my life, an honorable person is my dad. A few years ago, he was SO close to death. His liver was failing, he had to have a blood transfusion twice, and he almost died. He has been unemployeed so many times. He has overcome the most hardships I know. He never lets his emotions take over, he stays focused, keeps to his word, and is really responsible. My dad is honorable, and he is my hero.

People can define honor in many different ways, it depends on the type of person it is. I would define Honor as the ability to show integrity. It is a decision to determine that "I will do what is right, say what i mean and mean what i say" and when there are any shortcomings, it is the courage to either say by our words and more importantly by subsequent actions that "I made a mistake and i will make ammends so that it does not happen again". I think that honor is important because it defines the type of person that you are. It takes a lot for a person to honor someone. Being honored means that your important to someone, and that you mean something great. I think that it takes a lot for someone to be honored. Its not what you look like or how you live your life, its what you do and what you say that make you honorable.

I think honor means to be loyal and trustworthy to someone or something. Being an honorable person is important to me. I would like for people to think they can trust me. I would not want people to think that I would be disloyal and stab them in the back. If people did not think I was trustworthy or loyal, I would have no friends. This would not be fun and make life miserable. I think an honorable person would be my dad. He has always done things he said he would. He has a lways been loyal to our family, and has done a lot to provide for us.

In the times of Greece and Rome Honor is everything to the men. Today it has not been a necessity to have honor and glory. My definition of honor is when some one does something good and for the heck of it. An example of honor is what a fire fighter does in their job. I think that most people would feel that would be very honorable. Another example is to help defend your country from their enemies by serving in the armed forces. You don’t’ have to shave a life to be honorable Just doing the right thing. Be kind to others. Are some examples to live an honorable life. I live a pity honorable life because I always want to help with anything that I can.
