Today for my free blog I'm going to talk about my dad's bar, The Weal Inn. My dad has owned The Weal for eight and a half years. It is located on M-59 and Duck Lake Rd. It is a Irish pub and has green sign in the front. They have excellent burgers and great drink specials. On Fridays, they have a all you can eat fish fry (which is amazing by the way). There is karaoke on Thursday and Saturday nights. The Weal also does community service events such as sponsoring various sports teams in the area and they recently had a dinner where all the profit was donated to helping cure breast cancer. It truly is a great place to eat and have a good time and I couldn't be anymore thankful that my dad has remained owner and operator in this tough economy. While it may seem like this blog has little relevance to anything, you may be surprised to know that my whole life my parents have been involved in the restaurant business and it has directly affected me and has helped me better understand the qualities it takes to be a success.

Today for my free blog I will talk about the work permits the school requires. I work at Mcdonalds and have for some time now. The school work permits require that us as children only work eighteen hours a week. I think that this is a ridiculous rule. Through my work I know that I could easily work alot more than this. I dont like that the school gets to tell us that we can not work more than eighteen hours a week. I think that if the student has good enough grades, and proves that he/she can handle it, then the school should let them. I think that its crap that the school can cut hours for working students, since the start of the school year my pay has been cut in half and im not happy about it. I think that this is something the school needs to reconsider.

For this free blog I am going to talk about the newest season of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike tv. This season Rashad Evans and Rampage Jackson form the two teams coach the newcomers and try to help them get into the UFC. The backyard fighting internet sensation, Kimbo Slice joins the cast of newcomers to try to get into the UFC. And on the third episode Roy "Big Country" Nelson fights Kimbo and after landing a series of blows on Kimbo referee Herb Dean calls the match. Kimbo was out classed by Roy. I think it's funny because Kimbo is great at boxing but when he steps into the octagon he has no game. The founder of the UFC, Dana White flat out told Kimbo after he was defated in a challenge a while back in the octagon that the only way he could get into the UFC was the Ultimate Fighter. Yet here he is kicked off the show when people thought he was going to make it.

I am going to do my free blog on my dad's 15th marathon. My dad took up running to kill some time when I was in kindergarden. He started running 5 k's then decided 26.2 miles sounds better. It takes about 6 months of training to prepare for running a marathon. My dad runs just about everyday; it doesn't matter if it's hot or below freezing. He gets out there no matter what kind of weather. I can't believe last weekend it was his #15. His best time was 3:40 (not good enough to qualify for Boston). This month he is going to run the Detroit Marathon. It takes dedication to complete a marathon and I am very proud of my dad. We all have the inner strength to accomplish things that we think are not possible. My dad has showed me that hard work pays off. I hope to run a marathon with my dad one day.

For my free blog today, I'm going to talk about how students act with different teachers. Sometimes students are very quiet in a class because the teacher is strict or scary, and in other clases they could fool around and take advantage of the teacher. Today I noticed how many kids are disrepectful to them. Some classes don't require you to take notes or go over the homework from the night before, but you should still listen, or at least pretend to be. When I noticed about only two students actually paying attention while the others were doing other things I felt sorry for that teacher; she seemed so helpless. She did'nt even notice how everyone was treating her like she was some big joke.I think that people should'nt treat others like that.

Today for my free blog I'm going to talk about parents. Lately, my parents have really been driving me insane. I guess they have good intentions behind everything that they're doing but sometimes I just get so frustrated with them. They expect me to act perfectly and be this little angel but then it seems like they do things to get a reaction out of me. Usually it works and then I get grounded for talking back and having an attitude with them. They also expect my chores to all be done up to their standard all the time and bad grades really aren't an option with them. It makes life really stressful for me and I can't handle it all sometimes. Parents who are involved in their kids lives is a good thing but sometimes it drives the kids crazy.

Today I will be talking about drinking and driving. It is important friends don’t let friends drive drunk. Drunk driving kills thousands of people every year. In fact drinking and driving kills around 25,000 people annually. Most drunk driving accidents are caused by young males the age of 16-25. It is important to prevent kids from driving drunk. Drinking and driving can easily be avoided but everyone thinks they can drive absolutely fine when they are drunk but really they can’t. People need to be more aware of how terrible drunk driving is.

What I want to be when I grow up. I've wanted to be a lot of things: singer, artist, video game developer, etc. Realistically, I can probably only become either an artist or a video game developer. I like both of them, one more than the other (being an artist), but I love to sing. I'm always singing whether it's at home or in the car. It's my passion I guess you could say, and it's also my dream. I know it's not easy to become one, but if I ever get the chance then I'm going for it.

For my free blog, i have decided to do it over my jobs. Currently I am working at two golf cources, Brentood in White Lake and Prestwick in Highland. Brentwood is the course that i pretty much grew up playing at. At the end of last year though, the bank finally shut down breantwood causing them to go bankrupt. Thsi year they were saved and put back into business by Beacon Hill right acroos the street. After the change will some of my same friends working along with different kids, i have found it not to turn out as bad as i thought. The working is not a great pay but for something i dont mind doing, its alright to keep money coming in. Prestwick on the other hand is Private and expensive course in Which i also grew up around. I persoanlly dont live by this course but my mom has been that manager of the proshop for the last 12 years. Turning 16 this year gave me the eligibility to join the cart staff. Here at prestick its a different story. Though the pay is almost the same as brentood, us cart boys are treated by tips after washing the clubs of the layers as they end their round. This in the end adds up to be a pretty good amount aside from the pay. I love both these courses alot but with winter on its way, these courses will be closing causing me to get the 4wheeler out and start plowing season.

For my free blog tonight ill talk about family. Although they get on your nerves sometimes, you don't realize how good it is to have them there until something bad happens. My grandma just got diagnosed with Leukemia last year, and ever since she got diagnosed my family has become a lot closer. Each time things get worse it seems to bring everyone closer. Its a sad thing to think that something bad has to happen in order for this to happen. I think that since my grandma got a deathly disease, everyone realizes that the amount of time we have together is short, so we should live it up as long as we can. This makes me think of the saying, " you don't know what you have till its gone".

Well for my free blog im going to continue on what Dan was saying about the UFC and its President Dana White. A couple of years ago i heard about the UFC and i thought to myself wtf??? After i watched an episode of the Ultimate Fighter i saw the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship Dana White, A couple of years ago i heard about the UFC and i thought to myself wtf??? After i watched an episode of the Ultimate Fighter i saw the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship Dana White, i think Dan said that he was the founder but in fact he is just the President. Ithought that this man was the biggest ass ive ever seen but i kinda had to respect him for what he has made ultimate fighting into, which i would describe it as the next big thing in sports. I didnt get to watch the Ultimate Fighter on wednsday but the impression that i am getting from Dan is that Kimbo Slice got his ass whooped and Dana White did what he had to do, which was cut him from the competition. I believe that at heart, Dana wants Kimbo to succeed but he sees that he is not willing to work, and if you want to make it in ultimate fighting then you have to be able to put your body through hell. So in the end i just think that Dan should also clarify on how Dana Whites personality is because people could believe that hes another joe on the street who is looking to get famous.

For my free blog I'm going to talk about high school drama, more specifically the rumors that go around. We're Juniors in highs school, I think it's about time that people start to grow up. Rumors are necessary. Unless you know for a fact, that something is true, you shouldn't tell people anything, and even if you do know it's true, you still shouldn't tell people! It's someone's own personal business that they would not want to be broadcasted to the entire school. Let's switch the situation around, if someone was saying something about you, wouldn't you be hurt, and mad? Most likely yes, even the people who say "I don't care", care. I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't believe people should spread rumors, because it will always get back to the person the rumor is about.

Today for my free topic I want to blog about my new car (: I got my first car yesterday and Allyson helped me pick it out. I’m so excited because I turn 16 in 19 days and I’ll get my license and it will make life so much easier. I don’t have to depend on my friends and parents for rides anymore. I can drive to school and don’t have to depend on people I live by (which by the way never goes to school anyways.) Allyson named my car Prostey which has an inappropriate story behind it so I won’t tell it. I’m really excited to start driving it and I’m very thankful my parents bought it for me.

Today I'm going to talk about people in denial. There is this lady in the subdavision behind us that clearly needs help. She has a husband, kids, and a ton of money. However, she is a major alocoholic. The police are constantly looking for her. One time we found her passed out in our woods. Later on the police had to search our entire area in the middle of the night because she ran off wasted. She was considered "a danger to herself and others" because she had a golf club. My thoughts are, if this lady needs this much help why hasn't the family gotten her help yet. Clearly she really needs it. It's a huge waste of everyones time because we all know there is a problem. The family sitting around in denial is not doing her any help or anyone else for that matter.

For today's blog I will talk about the uneven support of student sports. A lot of people have been to football games and soccer games because they are fun and exciting. Well what about the other athletes? At track meets I look in the crowd to see the support of family, no friends, no school support. that makes me sad and angry to know that people only care about two sports. So while the football players get a lot of credit and popularity, my friends in track don't get any recognition for our hard work, this doesn't just include the track team it includes a lot of lakeland sports.

For my free blog I would like to talk about one of my favorite things to do, which is practicing karate. I started doing karate when I was five years old. When I turned ten I started going to Banister Martial Arts. At first I was really nervous, but I soon discovered that I was really talented at karate. Now I am a 2nd degree black belt in karate. The type of karate I practice is Ryukyu kempo. In my karate school we learn a bunch of different things. First, we learn how to do kata (open hand forms). Kata is a series of moves which help you defend yourself. Another thing we learn is weapons kata. Some of the weapons that I have learned are the bo staff, nunchaku, sais, tonfa, and kamas. I am known around the state for my bo staff kata. Also at my school we do sparring, which is when you put protective gear on and fight other people. Most importantly, we learn about pressure points which help you defend yourself. I am a state and world champion in karate. I have been to, and won at the US Open the world's largest martial arts tournament in Florida. I was also a state champion on the Michigan Karate Circuit in open hand forms and weapons. I am very proud of my success in karate. Not only has karate developed my confindence and dicipline, but it has made me a better person. I now know how to defend myself if I were to be put in a dangerous situation. Karate has changed my life in many ways, and I suggest people go out and give it a shot.

Today for my free blog I'm going to talk about my past weekend. Okay, so on Friday my brother and his girlfriend took me out to eat at The Highland House since Thursday was my birthday. It was my first time every being there, and meeting his girlfriend so that was pretty exciting. It was an amazing time. On Saturday I went out to eat again with my oldest brother, his wife, my dad, and my nephew. My newphew was being adorable and kept hugging my arm and being shy. Once we were done eating workers at Applebee's sung happy bithday to me and my faced turned red. It was very embarassing. Anyways the rest of the weekend I didn't really do anything, I pretty much just hungout and did nothing.

Today my free blog is about dance. I have been dancing for as long as I can remember, and I have always loved it. However, this year I have been disliking it more and more. Instead of looking forward to coming to class, I see it as a chore. I think this is because I no longer do the competition team. Two years ago I had to give up doing the competition team because of family reasons, and I was so upset because I loved it so much, but I couldn't control the circumstances. Now that I haven't been on team for two years, I don't see the joy in coming to dance, because I no longer get to compete with all the hard work I have been doing. I am sad in a way to lose some of my passion for dance, but I still enjoy going for certain reasons. I am going to continue with my dance classes until senior year, but I never saw dancing as a career for me. I think that is why I may not enjoy dance as much, because I know soon it will end. I've been dancing for 13 years, so it will always be a part of me.

Like my brother she doesnt judge me, no matter what I tell them. I love them both very much.

Today for my free blog im going to talk about how i became an only child this year. This year my older sister moved out to go to college. She goes to central. There are lots of pros and cons to being an only child. The pro is definetly gettng more attension and my parents showingering me with non stop attension and love haha. Also that now im sort of the favorite child since there isnt anyone to compare with. A con is that since im the only kid that my parents pay attension to its pretty easy to get in trouble. Also the house is a lot more quite and boring without my sister. We were best friends so it kind of sucks not having her around anymore. I guess you can say that overall i dont like being an only child, and cant wait to move out too!

For my free blog I will talk about one of my favorite things to do, which is play my drums. I know I talked about this last year, but I want to talk about it again because I got a new drum kit a little while ago. I also got a new double bass pedal, so I can make and play along to sick metal beats, or just screw around and have fun. I just love the sound of the double bass. (So if you ever see me listening to screamo, it's probably for that reason). I also recently cut a port hole in my bass drum head. This makes the bass drum kicks sound more poppy, as opposed to more of a dull thud sound. I love everything about my drum kit, and I love to play it. I used to kind of be in a band but it kinda fell apart cause we didn't do much. However, it's still soo much fun to play them by myself at home. I have never taken any lessons so I am self taught with everything, which proves that if you ever want to get pretty good at something, you don't need formal training, just lots of practice. I encourage everyone to learn how to play a musical instrument, whether you wanbt to be in band or whatever. It not only gives you a sense of accomplishment, but it can also do other things such as relieve stress.

Today for my free blog i am going to talk about teen love. Adults seem to think that us teens are wasting our time on these childhood loves, but i believe that a highschool sweetheart is one of the sweetest blessings God can give us. I have been with my boyfriend Kevin sense ninth grade, a year and a half and I am happy. There is a lot of drama that comes a long with a highschool relationship, especially when you are both 14 and immature, and it is still hard now that we are both 16. Not only have i gained an amazing relationshhip but i gained a best friend, someone i have grown up with all throughout highschool and knows everything about me. How can this be a waste of time? Of course we expect to be together for a long time, if not forever, but even if we are not how can you find the bad in having someone to talk to and having a best friend all throughout your highschool career? A relationship has put a lot of stress on my relationship with my family, I moved out of my dad's house because he did not support our relationship, but also would not let me have a boyfriend and controlled me. I have not talked to my dad in a very long time. Over a year. My mom is also my worst enemy now, but no matter what Kevin is the best thing that has happened to me. My eyes have been openened and cleared. I not only have to think about myself but I put someone else before me. The point is, if your son or daughter is in a highschool relationship or wants to pursue one, ask yourself "why not?"

Ok, I was just discussing this topic with one of my friends. People who commit murder, are considered to be horrible people who, in the eyes of many, whould be put to death. Why, then, do they kill people. Some, kill them for fun. They do it because they enjoy it. This does make them horrible people. No one should kill for fun. However, this brings up a small issue. Many have seen the saws movies, and if you havent then you at least know what they are. A lot of people love going to see these movies. Why? Because they enjoy watching people being tortured and killed. Is is slightly different? Yes. But is it still in the same feild? Yes. Ok, it is a movie but these days, movies are EXTREMELY realistic. So, the question is, are people who like going to see movies where people are tortured and murdered just as bad as people who enjoy torturing and killing people. Kind of an interesting conundrum huh? I would say that they are not as bad, but they certainly are bad. Slightly off topic, but this also leads to the question, why do Sex, violence, and death sell. Answer me that.

Today for my free blog I will be talking about hunting. If you didn't know, today was opening day of the Michigan archery season. This year is different for me, however. Three years ago we sold our hunting property in Clare Mi, and were hoping to buy something else. A lot of the money was used to pay bills and fix up things around the house. Long story short, we never got anymore property. This has effected me because ever since I was a kid, I always loved going up north. Having our own property made it more fun. Now that we dont have any property, it isn't the same. We are still looking for some property so hopefully we will get some soon.

I love the week before it and getting to dress up for school spirit days. especially this year, we had good spirit days. i thought stop light day was so interesting, seeing if people were in relationships or there was someone they had in mind. I'm also super excited about the football game, i love. i love going to the football games with friends and just hanging out there supporting our school. And im excited for the dance ofcourse! my friend Kate is having like 50 people over before homecoming! ya overwhelming, i just hope it doesn't rain on Saturday. But its cool because she invited a lot of different people from a lot of different groups of friends and its a fun opportunity to either meet some new people, or just talk with people you normally don get to a lot.

The Lakeland football team of 2010. Next year is going to be interesting for us for sure. As I am going to be a senior next year, I obviously want to have a good record. But, looking at the JV team of this year, and seeing that they have yet to win a game, I dont see our chances of having a very good record. Dont get me wrong, Im not already counting us out for next season, I mean come on we are still the Lakeland Eagles. So, this is my shout out to all the kids in my grade that have great athletic ability, but maybe dont see football as their sport. Come out and try it next year, we can always use the help, trust me. Already looking forward, but not forgetting this season, I want to come out on top this season too. Tomorrow's homecoming game is big for us, it determines weather we are .500 for the season or .250. I want to come out victorious and go for the league title. We better kill Mott...

For my free blog today, I choose to talk about the amount of homework we are already getting this year. I know that teenagers hate homework. Most just hate it because it takes time away from them having fun on their free time. The reason that I personally don't like getting homework is because of how busy I am with everything else with homework on top of that. I had cheerleading practice for four hours twice this week and it's not very easy trying to fit homework in on top of that. I do my best to find time to get all my homework done but sometimes I can't fit it all in, and if I do I am really tired the next day at school and doze of easiely and don't retain all of the information being taught. In my opinion, I think if you have a liget reason to not have your homework done such as a sport or somethying going on at home, then you should be not be able to turn thing in late but only with proof we had something else going on.

Tonight I will talk about opening day 2009. When saying this I mean bow season. I know to some hunting is boring but I think it's very important. Most people don't realize it but every man has the instinct to hunt. Even though I did not kill one dead tonight there's still plenty of days left. Even when I don't see any, I still love the feeling of the outdoors, there's nothing else like it. You can never beat the rush of drinking a sweet tea and then dropping that buck.
This year I all ready got me two of them in early doe season. The first one we tracked but couldn't find it any and the last one was just really small. So small that the arrow killed it dead on the spot. I can't wait to go out again tomorrow.

They will have to get used to living on their own because the army supplied pretty much everything for them. I would have to say they are couping with it very well. Blogging in general, NOT A HARD TASK! Most kids these days, sit on the computer playing games, or on Myspace, Facebook, or Twitter for hours on end. What I don't understand is how they can't take roughly 15 minutes, 4 times a week, to write a paragraph about a given topic. Realistically, it doesn't even take that long! But people find it SO hard to accomplish. I don't think there has been one night that I've gotten on to blog, browsed thru some others entries, and not found a million spelling/grammar errors, uncapitalized "I"'s/first letter of new sentences. I mean really, this does back to like, 2nd grade. We are juniors in high school, I would hope people would be able to write a grammarically(?) correct paragraph. But, kids act like this blogging is below them, and they shouldn't have to do it. But, maybe that is just my opinion, maybe it's yours too? It's not like Mr. Kay is making us write an essay reponse, just a minimum of 7 sentences, but if you put effort into it, you can most definitly write more than required.

Tomorrow the Twins play the K.C Royals which they are very capable of beating. Our next rivals are the Chicago White Sox which are key games to win running for the league pen-it.

And the best part is the company party. Every year our boss and his family rent out the long lake resort in hail, for an entire weekend from friday to saturday. And at the party we win prizes in games, and compititions, like bean bag toss, and potato gun shoot. But the company lately has had a slow request in jobs, mostly because the economy. But i think my dads company will survive, knowing it has for over 35 years.

Today for my free blog I want to talk about college. Lat weekend I went up to see my sister up at Michigan. It was a ton of fun and I got to meet all of her friends. The campus was beautiful, and the stadium was the best part. I went to the football game that Saturday and watched them win. However it was not just the people I met or the crazy parties I saw go on that weekend it was the experience. I decided that I really love college, and that it is very important. Although I already knew I wanted to go to college, this just confirmed it. I think that everyone just get to experience visiting a college campus. They are a ton of fun, and they really do inspire you to want to do yor best in high school.

Western made their chances count. When they shot the ball, it was always on net and rebounds occured. We werent outplayed tonight, we just didnt capitalize on our chances. We have an all around solid team, we just need to pull the trigger more and help eachother create chances for one another.

Today for my free blog i would like to write about my parents. My parents can sometimes be a pain. But honestly who's can't? I love my parents they are the reason i am successful. Without my parents i would not be able to survive in the world. My parents are the ones who encouraged me to take up tennis, and look now i'm on the Varsity Tennis Team. I love tennis and i thank my parents for getting me to play. My parents also push me to be the best person i can be. All kids say their parents are strict but everyone knows that they love them. I really believe it is impossible to hate your parents. Even if you can't stand the thing that hey are doing at the moment, deep down you still love them and always will.

For todays free blog i want to talk about my uncle. Over the summer he shot himself, and lived. He was in Detroit hospitol for 3 monthes and now is finally living with me and my mom. There are two reasons why he is my blog. One is that suicide or suicide attempts are increasing. Its crazy that so many people feel that they have no other choise but to die. Also, that so many people seem to feel this way in this generation. He is in my blog for another reason. He has made me grow up a lot in the past monthes. Now that he is living with us i help take care of him and give him company. He has made me be home more. He'll be okay one day and he can tell others that feel that way, that they have a choise. That its not what they want to do no matter how much life drags you down.

Today for my free blog i would like to talk about consequences. Consequences make me mad, and seem dumb, butin reality we need them. When you do something wrong, how else would you learn your lesson if you weren't punished? Everyone makes mistakes and you are expected to learn from them. Recently i have been learning so much from my own mistakes as well as other peoples. When i do something wrong i dont want consequences, i want to just so okay it wont happen again. Honestly, i know now that without punidhment and consequences i wouldnt learn from my mistakes. Also, imagine the world without consequences it would be a chaotic free for all mess. Whether consequences are what makes you happy or not its what we need.

I am really excited for the weekend. This weekend, I will try to sleep in. I won't be going to homecoming, but I am happy that I will be able to spend time working on my computer project. I want to get caught up in my studies. Will that happen? Sure will. But I will try my best to have a great weekend. I will also spend some time with my family. I want to start watching the new season of NCIS (recorded). My family and I enjoyed that show quite a bit last season, so I will be happy to see some new episodes. I will try to make this an awesome weekend.

For my free blog I feel like talking about my plans for the upcomming weekend. Most people are going to say that there plan are to go to homcomming, not me. I would much rather go out either bow hunting, since that opened today, or go small game hunting. I plan on going squirrel and rabbit hunting on early Saturday morning and Hunter is comming out to go too. I am looking froeward to that because hunting is my favorite thing to do. Also I plan on going out fishing so I can try my bout motor out. I just finished working on my antique outboard boat motor. It is a 1968 Mercury Model 60. It is a twin cyclinder 6 horse power motor. When i got it it wasn't running and the water pump, cools the motor, wasn't working correctly. I had to take it all apart and one of my friends also worked on it with me. Now that it works great I really want to get out and use it before the season is over.

Well today in school all the Junoirs had to go to a meeting during seminar that was about going to getting ready for college. To be honest this meeting made me a little scared cause as of right know i have NO idea what i want to be when i leave high school. Im starting to realize that this is were teachers start treating us like adults and getting us perpared for our future. It sometimes makes me sick thinking about my future and what im going to make of my life. I dont want to grow up yet im still having fun being a teenager. If you think about our future being the minute we leave high school and know that we dont have to come back. We only have 2 more years at lakeland and there is our future waiting for us to enter the real world. Maybe its just me whose scared i dont know, but i do know that im not ready to grow up yet. I think the only reason why im scared is because i dont know what the future holds for me, but till then im gonna have some fun...

The pressure put on students towards deciding and following a career path nowadays is simply ridiculous. Most teenagers don't even know who they are, let alone what they want to do for the rest of their lives. Its something that is said to be extremly important in a person's life, and it is expected to have some form of interest or major. Sometimes students have no idea what they wan to do. It is safe to say that I am in this boat. A lot of pressure and stress builds up after so many people telling you that you NEED to have some sort of plan. We are still just kids. Teachers and parents can't expect us to know what we want to do. A lot of adults still don't know what they want to do. I just think that it is a lot of unnecessary stress. Yes, it is important to have a plan but it is also important to not forget what you are doing in the first place, and not worry so much about the future and loose the presence.

When I was little, my family and I would go to Longs Farm, in the fall, and spend the day together. I have since then always loved fall. I love the smells, the atmosphere, and especially the sweet apple cider and the best hand dipped donuts I have ever had! One year I went to the apple orchard with my friend Melissa and we played tag with her brother by throwing apples at each other. It was so much fun and I will never forget how much fun I had that day. It just seems that everything good happens in the fall. You go have fun with your friends and family by going apple picking, going on hay rides, Haunted Houses, and most of all trick-or-treating! I know that by my age, I should be sick of it, but I’m not. It might sound dorky, but I love just getting all dresses up and arriving at my parents Halloween party and then trick-or-treating with my friends. It is everything I love to do in one night; party and get candy! Now, really, who can turn down the thrill of getting as much free candy as they can? I love everything about Halloween, but the one thing that I always look forward to in the fall is going shopping with my mom and buying all the new seasonal trends and getting jackets! I love shopping in general, but getting a fall jacket makes me so happy! Shopping for Halloween costumes or trick-or-treating with my closest friends is how I would like to spend my day. All together, I love the fall and all of the exciting experiences and feelings it brings to me during the season.

For my free blog i would like to talk about pre-judgement and friendships. Firt of all, we all love to judge people. I dont care who you are, you do it. Even i do it. But i think its really funny when you judge someone and decide you hate them and then later on get to know them and realize you really like them. For example, last year i got put into a class with a girl who hates, or hated, me more than anyone else. In fact, she almost tried to switch out of the class. But, she stayed in andone dayshe decided to give me a ride home. No, not to be nice, afterall she hated me, but to observe me. After that first car ride home she decided to drive me home all the time and now shes one of my best friends. It seems kind of rediculous that ive only known her for a year and i could honestly say that i would, and have, trusted her with my life. Its almost scary that you could get that close to someone in such a short time. But, i honestly dont know where id be today if i hadnt met her last year. Shes one of the most important, influencial people in my life and i honestly hope she'll be around forever. I know its kind of rediculous since teenagers say that about pretty much everyone, but i really hope this time its true. I guess the point is that you should never really decide you dont like someone before you know them because you could be missing out.

For this evening i would like to talk about courage. Courage-the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery. I think that courage is the greatest quality a person can have. Any person can obtain the trait of being courageous, but most of the time it is a split second reaction that shows courage. For instance the people on flight 93. They made the decision to stand up against those terrorist bastards and take down the plane in a field. Even though they risked there own lives they probably saved thousands of others. That makes them very courageous and American heros. I think it is safe to say that all heros even fictional are courageous because they are putting them selves in the way of danger to help other people. When i grow up i would like to be a firefighter so i can save peoples lives. I've always wanted to be like a super hero and i think that will be my opportunity. It is not how you act when things are going right but how you react in the heat of disaster that makes you courageous.

For my free blog i would like to comment about the NHL starting. Im really excited to be able to watch games on tv. One of the things im spending my birthday on is NHL center ice. Its a package where you get every single game. As much as everyone hates it im a big fan of the Pittsburg Penguins. I liked them back when Lemuix was a phenom. I liked Crosby in his QJHL days and it just fit when he went there. I really wanna make it to a game when ewe go to pittsburg this year. However, my money is on the Blackhawks this year. They made aot of nice trades and have their best team in years. I think it will be a Pittsburg and Blackhawks stanley cup.

Today for my free blog i am going to talk about the school year so far. So far I have liked this year alot, I like my teachers and all of my classes. I feel like I have also been doing Pretty good with keeping my grades where they should be. I have made a few mistakes but I am trying to fix them before they get out of hand. I cannot wait for next year to come because it will be our last year and I am taking a month trip to the Netherlands with Kyle and Andrew. I enjoy school and gives me something to do during the day. But most of all I enjoy the weekends the most.

For my free blog I'm going to talk about Michigan versus Michigan State. First off, I haven't chosen a side, which seems to be a good thing because people get hostile if your not rooting for their team. I'm just curious as to how their rivalry has gotten to be so popular. I mean it's the same state, country, and continent. I'd understand if it was Michigan football versus Afgahnistan football. I'd even understand if it was Michigan versus Ohio State. I think that people need to tone it down on the team spirit/threats.

For my free blog, i'm going to talk about school. Last year i pretty much didn't try at all. i just pretended like i didn't understand anything i was working on in my class. But this year i decided to completely turn it around. i've started doing all my homework as soon as i get home, instead of waiting until last minute. i've actually started using my planner and studying for my texts. I'm not getting perfect grades, but they are definatly better then last year. which me as well as my parents are very happy about.

This is late, but I already talked to you about it. My internet still is not working but tonight I was able to go to a neighbor's house to use their computer.

For my free blog I am going to talk about how frustrating it is to not have a working home internet. Now I am very far from being a computer expert, but I still don’t understand how wireless internet can just stop working for a week or two completely out of the blue. I don’t think there is a single other thing out there that ticks me off more. Our internet has not been working at all since September 27th which has had a huge impact on my school nights, because it requires me to either go over to a neighbors house or stay after school in order to complete my blogs on time. Throughout my entire life, well until sometime last year, my family and I had dial-up internet at home. While everyone classifies dial-up as being the “stone age” way of going online, at least it actually worked. Whereas our new AT&T wireless internet always seems to be having complications. Having a working home computer as well as internet has become a must for our high school students. I am not talking for Myspace or Facebook, but now for academic reasons like these blogs or research for assignments and projects. Furthermore times have changed quite a bit and now having a working home internet is practically required in order for one to easily succeed academically, so when my own online source randomly shuts down for no reason at all, I can not help getting extremely frustrated.
