Here we are at the end of the second cardmarking. Hard to believe that it is happening this fast. I am, overall, pleased with most of the way the class has gone although I would really love to see people put in more of an effort and show what you are truly capable of.
For today, I would like you to discuss your strengths and weaknesses thus far in this class. Also, what are your goals for the next cardmarking both in my class and as a student in general. Give a letter grade goal with ways you plan to make this happen. Lastly, give any constructive feedback as to how the class could be better or my teaching style could help you more. For the next cardmarking, my goal is to get an A in this class. Ways i will try to do that is by making sure i dont forget to do any blogs and that i turn in all my work and try to learn as much as i can. Overall as a student there is a lot i need to work on. Studying for tests is a big problem i have. I usually dont study for tests and it hurts my grade a lot. When i do study i dont do a very good job of it and i get off track very easily. I also need to make sure that i am paying attention during class so that when i go to do my work im not confused and not understanding. My goal is to get all A's and B's on my next report card and im going to try hard to get there.
I think I have an overall strength in language arts in general. The only weakness I can really think of is applying myself as much as I should. This past cardmarking, I've applied myself more than I have in the past, and my grades have improved a lot. A goal I have is to keep up the good habits I'm in right now. Ultimately, in all my classes, I'd like to get a B+ or higher. Tests are the thing that really brings my grade down, and I could spend more time studying for them. Honestly, I can't really think of any suggestions as to how you can improve our class. I really like the atmosphere of our class, and I find it pretty easy to maintain a good grade.
I am stunned, this school year is flying by, I cannot believe it's already the third marking period.. wow! I think my strength in this class, and as it is in many is staying on task and organized so that I get my work done and always in on time. I am a huge perfectionist and I really stress the importance on myself of being a good student. I have a lot of drive not only in this class, but in all my classes to succeed and I'm usually pretty hard on myself when i don't do as well as I plan. My weaknesses are sometimes participating, I feel like I do participate, but not really as much as I could. Next card marking I just want to keep on task and do the same things I have been doing so that I can do as well as I did this card marking. I have an A right now, and I plan to keep it there next card marking. So far, I think the teaching in this class and the style of how the class is run is good, something that could be improved is maybe more hands on stuff, and not so much of just reading stories out of the book! :D
My strength is that I get most of my work done. My weakness is that I have a hard time getting in front of the class to do speaches. For the next cardmarking is that I get all of my blogs done. As a student I plan to pay more attention in class and participate more. I plan on getting a B or A as my letter grade for the next cardmarking. The class is good so fare the only thing is that some times the blogs dont show up until the next day and then I dont get credit for them. So I am hopping to do better this cardmarking.
This year is going by so fast so far I can't believe it. Although I am not satisfied with the job I have done so far in all of my classes. I am proud to say that this card marking I made my goal of doing every blog, including the friday blogs that I used to skip because of cheering at the Friday night games. Something that really was holding me back was probably missing school because I get sick so easily I have a very weak immune system. I am very serious about going to school the most that I possibly can and really getting the highest possible grade I can. I am confident I have the skills to achieve an A in literature, because it has always been my strongest class. This class could be better if we did more hands on activities and did more creative writing because that is my strong point in literature. I also really enjoy reading so hopefully the book we are going to start reading Monday will be enjoyable.

I think of myself as a well rounded student in your class and as a student. When it comes to my h.w im super weak and would want to improve. But i think i capable of allot and could do allot more. With me it's more of an effort thing, if i try id be a amazing student. Since i don't though it brings me down a little, but not by allot. I think you run an awesome class. One of my favorite's for sure, and im not just saying this. I think your teaching style is super effective. You use allot of humor and you think and convey your ideas as well as teach. And if you ever have criticism on us it's constructive and has all the reason behind it. But for a letter grade i want to see and a in all/most of my classes.
I think that while i do have many strengths my weaknesses hold most of them back. I know i am very smart and could easily awnser most questions asked in class, but im quiet and sit back for the ride. I kind of hope to become more outspoken. For next cardmarking i hope that i will do so and get a grades i should be getting. I hope for an A, high B at worst. To do this i'll do blogs as soon as i get home, along with opther homework. I think i also need to practice not percrastinating, as it has its disadvantages. As for the class i think everything is fine.
One of my strengths is writing. I really like to write and it intrests me. I really enjoy lanuage arts class. One of my weaknesses would probably be presenting. I just really don't like presenting at all. I felt like i did pretty good this cardmarking in this class. My goal for next card marking is to keep my grade up and just complete everything to my ability. I really wanna try to keep my A in Lit and plan on working for it. I guess i would probably like not doing so much book work on stories. More hands on stuff would be better then just reading sections.
I don't really think I need to improve much in this class; I have a solid A, and I do all of my tasks. I suppose I could stop procrastination, but that applies to all of my classes and also studying for tests. I don't think I've ever studied for a test before this year, and it really does help! I need to do it more often. I plan on getting at least an A- in your class next card marking. I think our class needs its students to participate much more often. During discussions, only three or four people really speak up and it's frustrating. I understand that it's first hour, and I'm tired, too, but the lack of activity from the class as a whole is disappointing. Your teaching style works just fine, Marc. I especially like the ways in which you make fun of students. It just creates a positive, fun, entertaining classroom environment.
Sorry this is late I checked yesterday right after school and it wasn't there. I went to my aunts house at 3:30 and they don't have Internet. Any ways I think that this far in the year I am doing good compared to the last two. By the end of next cardmarking I would like to have a B+ at least. I think that if I just applie my self more I can do that. I think that my problem last year was just that I didn't applie myself enough. My life is so much easier now that I have better grades. Last year I was always grownded. I haven't had that problem once. Everyone says that it gets harder as you go. I disagree with what everyone else thinks. Things have become easier since freshman year. I do hope to improve for this next cardmarking.

So far my stengths in this class is just keeping up with all of the work. That is pretty much all you need to do to be successful. My goals for next card marking is to maintain an A in this class. My goal in my other classes is to try to get A's and b's. This is not very easy for me. There is not really a lot that I can think of to make the class better. i feel my main strength is, this year, maintaining my work ethic. this year, by far, is my most productive year. my weakness, has been i feel, my blogging. because i have missed a few. i honestly think you are one of the better teachers, and the way you do things is great. my aimed letter grade would have to be an a. i feel i can achieve this, and have. so i should be able to maintain it.

One weakness that I need to get better at is writing essays. I don't think I am very strong in that subject. My letter grade goal would be an A. My goal is to get an A every card marking but sometimes that doesn't work out. Another goal would be to get my gpa higher than what it is now. I think your teaching has been fine. Your not a complicated teacher at all. You make class entertaining.
For next card marking i would like to get a b or a A. I can achieve this by doing all my blogs, and all my home work. As a student i believe that i am doing good, I could be doing better tho. This year is the best year i have had so far at Lakeland. As far as the class I think you are doing a great job teaching. I have never been good at L.A. and all my teachers board me, but this year L.A. is a lot better because you make the class fun. The only think that i can think of to make our class better is allowing Fridays blogs to be turned in on Sunday be for 8:00 PM. :P
