It's kind of a cheesy answer, but I had a lot of fun at 5th grade camp. At the time, spending a few days with all my friends at a campground was just too cool. Of course, we had a lot of pre-arranged activities. A lot of them made us work together, though. At that camp, I made a lot of new friendships. I also learned a lot about teamwork, which I even apply today. I also did a lot of things at that camp that I'd never done before. We did things like horseback riding, and kayaking. That was an overall fun camp.
A time i had fun and had a learning experience was one day up at alpine. My friend Zack and I were snowboarding and we were having a blast. My dad told us to be wating for him at around 9:00. well Zack had the idea that he would page us on the loud speaker when he wanted us to meet him. well 11:oo came around and we finaly found him, his face was bright red with anger/wind burnt. he started screaming at us about how we were suposd to meet him at 9:00. I got grounded for a week, and the leson i learnd was never to piss my dad off again and meet him when he told me to.
Climbing Pilot Rock in Oregon with my youth group, started off with the thought of it being something terribly dreadful, but ended up being an amazing experience. I went into it expecting to get nothing out of it, and wanting to turn around as soon as it started, even though I was with friends and I was still having a lot of fun. As hard as it was half way through, and as much as I wanted to just give up, and I kept on going and pushed through it. The closer we got to the top, the easier it seemed to be getting because I completely turned my mind set around when I realized, climbing a mountain could actually turn out to be very fun and beneficial. When we finally made it to the top, it felt like I had just won a million dollars, and I was having a blast like I completely didn't think I would. That day once the whole climb was finished, I learned something huge about myself, that yes I had already kind of known, but this really put it into stone for me. I knew that whatever I had put my mind to, and did not give up no matter how hard it gets, I could do it. I realized how strong of a person I really was, and once I turned my mind set around of it being horrible, and made the best out of the experience, I had a blast!
A time when i had fun and learned someone was when i went to chicago. It was very fun learn and i saw alot of things you cant see in michigan. When i was there i went throgh the city I wwent into a building called the jon hancock observatory. It was very tall and i went to the very top i was haveing alot of fun and also learning about the city. Then we went to the sears tower. This is the biggest building i had ever seen. I wend inside it and went to the very top i had never ben so high in a building before and those are moments you will never forget and always charish.
I had a fun expereince when I was building a Gingerbread House from scratch for my social skills class. During that fun project, I learned about teamwork. That included how to work in a group, compromising, respect, etc. It put my social skills that I learned all year to work! It also taught me how to cook. I had never known what a real cooling rack was. Now I know what an actual cooling rack is. I also learned that molasses does come out very slowly like the old saying says. I thought that the Gingerbread Houses were a fun, enjoyable, and worthwhile lesson. I just can't wait for them to start up again this year!
Well, fresh after going through a break-up with a girl I'd been dating for one full year won this one over.
Yesterday, I ended a one-year long relationship with my girlfriend. I, of course, still wish to remain friends with her but that remains to be seen as of yet. Also, my reasons for breaking it off were very justified and were not for my personal gain; in fact, my means were, in whole, very selfless.
Being in a relationship for such a long period of time in high school was a great learning experience as it was a fun one. Throughout the course of the year, Rachel and I shared the greatest of times and the darkest of hours together, we'd gotten closer to each other than ever previously before, and we shared everything. It truly was a committed, loyal, perfect relationship if you will. Sure, it ended, but shit happens. The times that we shared offered me a very fresh and new perspective on things than I had before her. Dating her has given me an astonishing amount of confidence that I hadn't been in possession of prior, it brought me utmost happiness and taught me how to care for someone. She was my first real relationship, in that middle school relationships hold no true experiences or meanings, and that it was for much longer than most high school couples make it. I'm sad and almost regretting breaking up with her, but I have to muscle through this as I know it's what's best for us. A truly great learning experience indeed.
The time I had fun and learned something was I went ridding on my four wheeler. It is always fun to go ridding around a feild and going off jumps with a ATV is fun. But also I had learned from my Dad how to change the oil on an atv. This is was a good learning experience because now I can change the oil in my four wheeler by my self. Also I learned to clean the enginge because if it gets to durty dirt can get in the insied of the engine and ruine it. This was also something good to learn because if my engine gets ruined then my four wheeler is done. So this trip was a good learning excperience in many ways.

Playing football is fun and it also gives me a valuable learning experience. I learn displine and to work as a team. There is no I in team. I have alot of fun playing football too. Ive also learned one valuble lesson and that is that you should play every play as your hardest because it could be your last. One play could go wrong and your football career could be over. Its like life, live every day to the fullest. You never know when it could be your last.
Well, this response goes two ways depending on who you ask. If you ask my parents, they'll say either A) I am incapable of having fun, or, B) I'm most proficient at learning bupkis. (To be continued)... My mom told me to tell you that I have the shits... BRB
Well I think that a valuable but fun lesson was when me and a couple of friends of mine hit snowmobilers with snowballs. We all thought it was a good idea to hit snowmobilers with snowballs at the time. We all hide in the woods and waited for them. When they went by we all hit them with snowballs. We thought it was really funny when we hit them, but not when they came back. When they came back they threw them back. When they hit us it accidentally hit my friend in the face. We all learned that if you throw something at someone they will probably throw things back. We all learned that if you throw something it might come back. If and when it comes back it could do some damage. To this day we haven't done that again.

i am very fortunate to have had many unique experiences in my life. however, my most favorite and value experience, by far, would have to be my trip to london this past summer. although the flights over and back were the longest times of my life, the time i spent in london, and its metro area allowed me to experience a side of the world unknown to me. i learned to become tolerant of a terribly bad accent, and to listen to my superiors. if it weren't for my aunt and uncle, i might have been left over there, let alone even getting over there. it helped me open up in a way, and to have an open mind for other cultures. it also gave me the most proud moment in my life when i got Rafael Nadal's autograph at Wimbledon. this is one of my most prized and cherished possessions. i owe the world to my aunt and uncle.

Football is probably the most fun experience in my life. I have a lot of fun playing it with all of my friends. It is not an easy sport to play though. You can learn a lot of life lessons from football. One lesson is to work together as a team. If you don't no how to work with other people well than you won't get far in life. The second lesson is sportsmanship. Football teaches you to respect the other team, and to have good sportsmanship.
Paintball was a fun experience that I had in which I learned many valuable lessons. You play as a team, if one person wants all the fame your not going to win. Trust is another concept you have to grasp. If you dont trust your teamates then your not going to play as well. There are several unseen factors when playing paintball, one you wouldnt think of is stress. Out on the field it is stressful and you have to learn to deal with it. You have to sort out preoblems visually and mentally using all of your senses to help you win. Those are a few of the many things you have to be aware of when playing the sport of PAINTBALL!!

This year so far has made me 5x more grown. Iv experienced so many things that have dramatically changed who i am. I went through a brake up with my first love. I took on a life style to better myself. There is a list and list of things. I think that this year is super fun as well, prob the best in my life. People have been really cool. Iv lost alot of people and gained alot and i'm having a good time with it. I think that that by the end of this year ill be done learning all the emotional think ill learn in high school.
A time in my life that was exciting and rewarding was probably church camp in seventh grade. Starting off the first few days, yes I was miserable...and alone. My parents forced me into going and I was conviced that I could not survive without my close group of friends from school and cheerleading. After warming up after a few days of the week long trip, I learned to rely on myself. Better yet, I realized that I didn't need my friends to be myself around other people I didn't know. It's okay to be yourself around everyone, and that you don't need to crutch off of friends to be outgoing or who you are around them. At camp, I became stronger and stronger over the days and overall had a super fun experience. Along with making my relationship with God grow, my personality did too. I met so many new people and did things like rock climbing, and dancing in front of a huge crowd, that I never would have done alone before. It really was a rewarding experince overall, and I would do it all over again.

To: "Some Guy"
No, not hilarious, just a cynical, world-weary smart ass. The following is true, and hilarious.
Anyways, we went to pick up food from the shop in reality... but... anyways... So, yeah. My parents think along the lines of the previous statement. I on the other hand, am convinced that I am totally above that as well as that I do learn lessons, it just takes me more mistakes. My favourite one is when I learned not to make grandiose of off-the wall assumptions about what I think I heard someone say.
One: Ring-RIng
I was in band with Shannon, (the girl who often comes in in the morning, demands my jacket and storms off with a bad attitude,) talking about her tuba. She just took it up and we were trading it off, playing that song that you listen to in your head when you see a grossly obese person walks by, (read as: American). You know, the duh-duh duh-duh duh-duh duh-duh-duh-dut... Yeah. So, I put the tuba back in the case while she was in the bathroom so I wouldn't drop it because it's a LOT heavier than it looks, and, naturally, I forget what case I put it in. She comes back in the room, sees it gone and screams "WHERE THE F**K IS MY TUBA?!?!" Looking at her, I shrug and sheepishly say that I don't remember what case it was in. She gives me an absolutely filthy look and says, "It's got a thumb-ring on it... LOOK FOR IT GODDAMMIT!!!"
Now, lemme get one thing straight. I don't have the best hearing. I mean, I can hear just fine, but what I hear often isn't what the person says. Shannon said; "thumb-ring". I heard; "fun-ring". So, naturally... Me being in band, associate "fun-ring" with... well... Take a guess... So, at the top of my lungs in utter outrage at what I thought I heard, I scream "WHAT THE F**K's A FUN-RING?!?! BOOTS! THAT SOUNDS SICK!!!" Much to the horror of Shannon and I, everyone looks, the room goes dead silent and she, not I, turn beet-red. See, I don't care too much about what people think about me. True, I don't like it when people think I'm a slob, but then again, no-body does. So, after getting odd looks at being totally mortified, she looks at me and slaps me. Hard. "I SAID THUMB, NOT FUN!" At this point, Mr. Green comes out, looks at us, rolls his eyes, and says: "Mr and Mrs Boots at it again huh?" Yep. Just ask her if she comes in again about fun-rings, she knows all about those... So does the entire wind-ensemble too... At least after what, two weeks ago?
Two: This Shirt
My mom just came home from a week with my dad at Ocean City, MA. There's a car show there dedicated to Volkswagens and Audis called H2Oi. H2O being for water-cooled, and I for International.
While there, my mom and dad bought me a shirt. Now, I should explain something about the show before I go any further. There's a bunch of actually really-cool people, many of which I know because I've either seen them at our shop, or met there countless times before. They all have a very odd sense of humour and generally amuse themselves by poking fun at society through (generally) lewd slogans and hand-gestures. So, this shirt. my mom found it while walking around and looking at cars. There are booths there with really cool shirts, Volkswagen keychains, card-holders, glowy-pens, flimsies, you name it. One booth was selling the shirt though and m mom picked it up. When she enquired about the hand-sign on it, she was told it meant "cool-car". The guy was obviously BS-ing her though. I mean like REALLY rocking her boat. She purchased the shirt and, when she got home presented it to me. She told me what it meant because I was flabbergasted and confused at the hand-sign which I, in my personal experience, had never encountered before. I gladly took it as part of my wardrobe and wore it the next day. Now, back to the guys' sense of humour. While at the show, there were TONS of people wearing a shirt that said on the front: "Two in the pink" and back: "one in the stink". My mom just didn't get it. I wouldn't have either. After thinking about it and asking my dad, it dawned upon her. She told me all about how offended, yet titillated she was at this revelation. Now, to the shirt. I wore it to school the next day thinking "awwwww yeah, a'i'n't I cool...." I still had no idea what it meant. I got to first hour and endured the teacher's odd looks, and constant giggles. Mr LeButt, my first-hour teacher obviously, calls me up and whispers if I had any idea what that meant. I answered honestly that no, I didn't and he just smiled and waved me out of his class. So on it went, for most of the day until I got into my 3rd hour math class. Mrs. Huyck. Bless her heart. She looks at me, smirks and says: "do you have ANY idea how inappropriate that shirt is?" Still being totally in the dark about what it really meant I answered honestly again, "no". Such a simple word can allow you to learn a LOT of things. This lesson was, never buy anything that says or shows a picture of something you don't know. She pulls me aside and whispers in my ear, "you know the saying 'two in the goo, one in the poo?' " That I knew. Shannon had told me what it meant. I wore the shirt backwards for the rest of the day. When my mom came to pick me up, she asked what was with my shirt. Shannon was with me and started laughing. I asked her if she knew what it meant. "No", the magic word. Shannon took over at this point, " It means you take two fingers up the front and shove another up back". My mom knew what she was talking about. Needless to say, she was offended. Again, needless to say, she laughed so hard, she pissed all over my driver's seat...
Those I count as good learning experiences. The other being never, ever, ever, use a gas-station bathroom. I threw up all over from the smell and found a bag of pot jammed into the paper-towel dispenser.
I think a time that i have had a fun learning experence is when i joined the bowling team freshman year. I wasnt great but i decided to go for it for fun. I met new people, got to bowl, and hang out. I learned how to bowl better which made it alot funner also. Later at our first meet we depended on our teammates for support. i learned that even if someone does bad you support them because its just what you do. I think we can all learn a valuable lesson from what we do.
A time when i had fun and also had a learning experience was 3 years ago at my grandmas when i learned how to wakeboard. I always wanted to try it, so i bought a new wakeboard and boots. Since my grandma lives on a lake only 10 min from my house we spend our whole summer over there. Therefore, it was very convenient for me to learn to wakeboard. I was very nervous and had no clue what i was doing. Ive never actually seen someone wakeboard nor had i ever had anyone teach me how. So that whole summer I took some bad falls and learned something different everytime i went out. Over the years now i have learned so much about wakeboarding. I tought myself how to wakeboard and now that i know people who also wakeboard they have taught me a lot also. I have learned to jump and clear the wake and how to do 180's. Wakeboarding is one of my favorite things to do and i have learned so much about it. Its tons of fun and I'm glad that i started doing it.

it was christmas morning of 2006. I wake up just like evey other christmas, but this one was different there were no gifts around the tree. There was not a sound in the house. i ran down to my moms room and she sits me and my sister on the bed. Then the words im sorry girls come out of her mouth. You only get one gift this year. ME and you dad are sending you and your sister down to south carolina for 2 weeks this summer for your gift. That summer when me and my sister were down there i had the best time of my life. we were sent down to help my grandma out and take care of her. But to me i think we did just the oppiset. But who knows it was amazing and i also learned alot about my family and how to care for someone who really needed it. I would love to do it again.
a fun expirence i had was going to boy scout camp. i had a lot of fun and did alot of activities. i learned a lot as well. i learned how to do CPR and am now certified to give CPR. i also learned how to make a life jacket out of my clothes and much more. boy scout camp also taought me alot about working as a team. we had to do alot of team building activities as well as leadership ones.

There have been many times in my life where fun experiences have turned into learning experences at the same time. It was a hot summer day and all of my friends were over for some jet sking. Well we had the idea of trying to do a 360 at 70mph well lets just say it wasnt the smartest thing ive done in my life. We tried it and both literally got catepolted off the jet ski flying in the air yea it was fun till good old sherrif came over and gave me a $120 ticket for reckless driving of a water craft. Just goes to show that all fun experiences sometimes have to be paid up for. Even worse going home with the ticket in my hand and explaining to my dad how I got it. This was a big learning experence in two ways 1st dont try reckless driving on the water near a sherrif second dont come home with a ticket in your hand you will get some loud feedback and get grounded for 2 weeks. So ill have to say this was a very good fun but pricing learning experence for me.

Ugh I cant remember when I had fun and learned something from it but I'll try MKAY. I think I has one of these experiences when I got in my car accident. My friends and I were coming home from a baseball game and we were all joking around having fun. The next thing I know I'm spinning around in the intersection and my dad is pulling up behind me screaming because I made the mistake and got a ticket. I was having so much fun that I didnt't realize that I turned right infront of someone. The lesson I learned is never stop paying attention when you are driving and don't crash you're car haha. I haven't made that mistake since. peace out

I attend a dance studio in Milford called Suzanne's Main Street Dance Centre. I have been dancing there for eleven years and i love it. Well every other year we send in tapes to Disney World to see if we can performe in Disney in one of the parks. And i have been going for about 3 years so far and it is a very good learning experience. I really want to still continue dance when i grow up and dance has really taught me alot in life. These performances teach us to become a group and become united. I have learned teamwork and responsibilites in life from dance. Showing up to all practices for the disney performance and coming together as a group to have an amazing performance. Well all our hard work payed off and we did an amazing job. It has taught me to really fight for what i wanna do in life and to never give up. I ended up have an amazing time down in Florida and i loved it! Dance has been a very positive experience in my life and i would never take it back for anything!
