It seems only just yesterday that summer began. I find it funny that, as each year passes, the span of time between them grows shorter, as does the school year itself. Anyways, I like this blog idea. It saves me paper as well as money. This, I find, is a much better idea than the usual paper-and-pencil journal/notebook method that most teachers require. And off on a tangent again I go.

While I'm glad that the school year is going again, (mainly due to my summer being so terribly boring,) I find myself wondering if I like school more than summer. Nah, no one in their right mind does.

I probably wasn't suppost to comment on this, but you did say that there was going to be one every day, so... Here it is.

So, I was unsure of what to write for today's blog, as you said we would have one but there's none to be found. Then I read Stefan's comment, and I suppose I'll take a similar approach.

Summer was, for me, the definitive high school summer. The parties, the illegalities (and, shockingly enough legalities), the fun times, the hard times - this Summer was everything. And still, I didn't obtain my driver's license. It downs me, but what are you gonna do, you know?

The school year is going strong, albeit only the first day, and I'm actually looking forward to this semester despite the dread that I was facing when I woke up this morning. This year looks to be a good one, perhaps the best one of my high school life.
